Thank you Claymore for releasing v11!

Looking good!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASRock H81 Pro BTC R2.0 / Wiring. Please help. on: December 19, 2017, 01:40:41 PM
In a 2 Power Supply Setup I have all my risers connected to one PSU.
The GPU's can be spread over 2 or more PSU's but you should avoid connecting a single GPU onto multiple PSU's (6/8 Pin connector)

It is all DC Power so as long as you connect to the Same Ground you will have no problems, make sure you have proper grounding and use cables that are 3 prongs (Wall Grounding, Extension Cords, Power Strips and Power Cables)

Okay, guys, this has been an annoying problem for the last 5 days. I have no idea how to fix this and it has been affecting my mining on a daily basis.  When I switch pool I get the same issue and once in a while the issue will go away and now it is back. Any help would be helpful but here is what I put in the

TIMEOUT 5
@echo off
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
@echo on

patrike, any idea why I can't assign the Pool Coin?

Hello,

I am able to add an external miner and select Dstm Zcash Miner and it pulls all the stats unfortunately I am not able to set the Coin I am mining.
Under coin it states Unspec. Equihash. When I right click and click on Define Pool Coin -> Zcash it does not change.

Any idea?

Thanks

Daniel

I've implemented support for the Dstm Zcash Miner.

You can expect a new release of Awesome Miner within the next 1 - 2 days with this support included.

The command is --telemetry=0.0.0.0:4029 instead of --api ...

Then you can query it via browser or json query.

It would take somebody from Awesome Miner, to add support for stats, patrike?
There is a sample json-rpc.txt file in the folder:

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD SUPPORT OF "dstm-zcash" MINER ?

I can get this to work, but only by using it as a custom miner within Awesome Miner, the problem is Awesome Miner does not get any data back from the miner so no stats are displayed.

Patrike,

Below is the diagnostic output...  I hope you can fix / add this in Awesome Miner soon.

I am sorry, but they run their shop like a kindergarten.

You are dealing with peoples money here.
Where is the News Announcement (not talking about the generic message they added)
The Updates every 6 or 12 or 24 hours letting us know whats going on?

I think we all would understand if they are having problems and need time to fix it... just let us know whats going on!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 18, 2017, 01:07:12 AM
Hey guys first post in here looking to get into ltc mining for a while now but seems like i have to wait till september to get few L3+.
My question is whats the best  payment option ordering from Bitmain?
Although wire transfer sounds ok from what i read so far , i think paying in bitcoin would be better due to faster transactions plus no questions asked by the bank.
So instead of wiring the money should i just buy BTC and send it over to them ?
Anyone else paid in BTC and had no issues ?
thanks in advance pretty informative forum

Yep, i did. No problem with confirmation. In about one hour You got mail with paymant confirm.

BTC is the fastest way. I did wire in the past and no problems. Your bank should not ask any questions why you do a wire...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 15, 2017, 10:02:44 PM
I am getting great 470 sols for each 1070 while using 146W per card, this ok.... i can also get 420 sols with 107W, both working fine

But i have question with accepted share:

now with the built in webserver its easier to take a look about the performance and i am wondering about that:

GPU                         Temp   Power   Speed   Efficiency   Accepted   Rejected

GeForce GTX 1070   60 C   147 W   470 Sol/s   3.21 Sol/W   221   0
GeForce GTX 1070   54 C   145 W   466 Sol/s   3.17 Sol/W   284   0

So why had my second card more accepted at the same speed? Is that ok or did i had tofix something?

that is normal.

Do you work as good and equal as your co-worker?
Same with your GPU's, one card got luckier than the other...
You have 0 Reject so you are good!

Hello,

have you thought about your remote agents to report via a post to the server instead of a pull?

I have a windows node that does not have a public IP address but my main Server does.
It would be nice if the agent software would have a field where I can specify the server IP address and it pulls the config every x minutes and reports back stats every x minutes ...

I have 5 x 580 connected to my evga 750 and it runs stable.

Best thing to do, get yourself a Kill a Watt, Home Depot carries them, Amazon as well https://www.amazon.com/P3-P4400-Electricity-Usage-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU

Measure how much your usage increases when you add a card while mining!

Understand your power supply efficiency and then decide if you have room left to add another.
Good read bout efficiency:

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: May 22, 2017, 11:23:19 PM
Before it was 3357 and was ok, But since they changed to 33357 can't use this miner. Can I change the port?
I've tried different server, disabled firewall on the router and the PC. Also I tried different DNS.

Yes you can use non ssl port but you pay extra dev fee, read 1st page for details.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: May 22, 2017, 11:09:03 PM
33357 is correct for ssl connection

Try a different server
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EthOS Overclock Problems on: May 11, 2017, 03:50:09 AM
So I've been running EthOS on stock settings for a few days now and getting around 24mhs with my Rx470's. I tried to overclock my cards today and when I do one of my cards goes to 28-29mhs and the other runs at 8-10mhs. Here is my config files I'm using.

globaldriver amdgpu
globalmem 2000
globalpowertune 6
globalminer claymore
globalfan 75
maxgputemp 80
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet 0xf95cbac66ada28d2b23d198c892479ad0c3a8b44
Proxypool1 us1-etc.ethermine.org:4444
proxypool2 us1-etc.ethermine.org:14444
flags --cl-global-work 8192 --farm-recheck 200

I've been reading on the EthOS FAQ about overclocking individual cards. The command in the config file is

mem [worker]: set the mem clock of individual GPUs on a single rig

But I'm not sure what to put in [worker]. How do I find out what worker is the GPU so I can manually overclock each card?

Worker is your hostname.
mem 123456 1000 1001
mem 654321 1004 1005

This will set the mem for
Rig 123456
Gpu0 to 1000
Gpu1 to 1001
Rig 654321
Gpu0 to 1004
Gpu1 to 1005

This is used if you have a remote conf file. Local you just need to add the setting for that rig.

I mined with my Laptop when zcash 1st came out, cpu and then gpu and I had to replace both fans, they started making noise after a while ... was not worth it.

You might have warranty on it and can get it replaced for free... you have to figure that out for yourself!
