6  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: reduce laptop price by mining on: May 29, 2013, 02:26:10 PM
Maybe. We don't know for sure since it's different for each laptop. You'll have to try it out and see. I suggest you look into the lenovo T or W series laptops, on that you'll definitely be able to mine 24/7 without issues. (provided the cooling system is working properly)

I have a w520 and it get HOT while mining with the nvidia card in it, did it for 1 nigt only.  Cry

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i be a productive miner in the community?? on: May 20, 2013, 11:18:40 AM
2500$ is way too much you can go a lot cheaper and hope for ROI before ASIC or mine LTC.

read on there's a ton about cheap mining rig, check the 10$ crate case thread  Grin

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: butterfly labs bfl 50gh/s (60gh/s) asic units shipped yet? on: May 18, 2013, 11:31:48 PM
If they received it, it would be the 60Gh unit, or 1 50 + 2*5, since they would be in the first lineup, before the spec changed.

But on the BFL site they say that they are still doing revision on the board.

Probably scam

Cry

12  Local / Mining et Hardware / Re: Ordinateur pour miner on: May 17, 2013, 12:31:25 PM
parfais bien équilibré mais pas grand rendement avec une 6850.

j'ai acheté un 650Watts et une 7870XT hier
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GPU specific Question for 7870 Tahini (Powercolor) and mining. on: May 17, 2013, 01:06:01 AM
it's only 256 bytes memory path, so that's the max you'll get in LTC

16  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining @ 1.2GH/s....Solo or Pool? on: May 15, 2013, 02:41:51 PM
join a pool, 1.2 Ghs is not enough to find a block, until you find a block you get 0 mining solo  Grin
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it worth installing a 6850 into my mining rig? on: May 13, 2013, 09:50:58 PM
I have a 6870 and it mines 240MHs BTC  on Bitminter, a 6850 will give you a bit less   Grin

I would say Yes it's worth the trouble if you have place for the risers.
18  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 6x 7950's - How many watts? on: May 12, 2013, 05:20:21 PM

the CPU is not important

But I doubt that you will cool 3 cards from a closed case, any closed case. IMO  Roll Eyes
