1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Alpereum - Professional Ether Pool [0% Fee] on: June 09, 2016, 12:46:27 PM
Well small update I do not think I will be containing mining over here at alpereum. I have had a 5 day long stretch and pay is almost half of what I normally generate. Dont get me wrong pool is fine to mine on just not seeing higher or better results then when I mine elsewhere. I am on average making 5 ETH a week over the last week here I have made 2.07ETH for my hash SO not sure what to say here other than I might be back in the future if it improves.

It's due to the low hashrate on this pool. Too bad it's gonna die too soon.

Hola, ¿alguien con experiencia en este exchange? quiero probarlo pero antes que nada, quería saber si alguien ya lo ha usado.

Tienen varios errores ortográficos... si necesitan un traductor, me ofrezco.

Awesome, nice looking pool. I'll give it a try. Grin

Btw, is it possible to use Genoil's miner? or it isn't compatible?

-- Nevermind. I've tried, it is compatible. Smiley Mining right now. Let's see how good it goes.

Hi, is there a way to disable 2FA? I need to upgrade my phone but I can't because I've lost my secret key and I don't want to lose the access to coinotron. I've wrote an email to coinotron@gmail.com...

https://www.facebook.com/SURBITCOIN/?fref=ts

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tx of rewards on: April 29, 2016, 07:17:29 AM
Hi, I'm wondering if Ethereum has (as Bitcoin) a hash of the rewards given by every mined block? or how and where will be registered those 5 new Ether each time a block is mined?

Cheers Smiley

Sorry, wrong forum. Please delete this question.

9  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Tx de recompensas on: April 29, 2016, 07:01:19 AM
Hola, ¿Ethereum tiene como Bitcoin algún hash de las recompensas que se dan por cada bloque minado? o ¿cómo y dónde se registra el ingreso de estos nuevos 5 ether cada vez que se mina un bloque?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to correctly supply USB Powered Risers with two PSU? on: April 13, 2016, 12:03:48 PM
Thinking about it more, the cards need 12V from both end so I don't think you need a 5V rail at all.
In fact a PCI-E slot doesn't provide 5V, only 12V and 3.3V.

The USB riser might feed itself from the PCI-E lane (3.3V) and not the 5V from the molex. Not sure though.

Edit: tried a riser with the 5V rail on the molex disconnected and it didn't work. So the USB riser does require 5v.

Hmm! What a shame, I still have the same doubt, is it possible to feed the riser from the first PSU and leaves the second PSU to the GPUs?

If somebody knows the answer, I will really appreciate it.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to correctly supply USB Powered Risers with two PSU? on: April 13, 2016, 11:31:42 AM
I never tried it as I always use one big good quality PSU per rig but as far as I remember reading about it long ago you have to feed each card from the same PSU on both sides.
This is because the molex going into the riser and the 6/8-pins on the GPU are not connected to the motherboard (in terms of 5V and 12V) so you're not connecting multiple PSUs to each other which would be a problem.

But wait for others who have first hand experience.

The problem is the HP PSU only gives 12V... there's no 5V rail.

And now this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=443540.0

I'll keep waiting.

Thanks for replying.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How to correctly supply USB Powered Risers with two PSU? on: April 13, 2016, 11:15:45 AM
Hi there!

I'm building a mining rig (wheter it's profitable or not), my specs are:

Z77A-GD55 (Mainboard), Core i3-2100 (CPU), Corsair Vengeance 8GB (RAM), 500GB Sata (HDD), and now the problem:

I have a generic "500 Watts" (PSU), with this one, I'm pretending to supply the mainboard and HDD.

So far, the CPU works, it turns on and everything is working as expected.

The problem is... that 1st PSU won't be able to supply the 3 GPU I have (PowerColor R9 280x, Sapphire 7970, Gigabyte 7970).

So, AFAIK, I can supply those GPU with a different PSU in the 12V PCI connectors. So I buy this PSU ---> HP DPS-1200FB.

I asked before about turning on the GPU's PSU and then the mainboard PSU and there's no problem. In fact I can use a little relay to turn them both at the same time.

So yes, so far everything is OK.

But now another problem appears.

I'm using 3 of this usb risers, and now I'm not 100% sure of how should I supply them.

Some people says I must supply the usb risers with the 5v and 12v and both grounds (I mean 1 molex) from the mainboard PSU, and then only use the HP Server PSU to supply the PCI-6 and PCI-8 ports of the GPUs.

Some other people says I must get 5v and one ground from the generic PSU and 12v and the second ground from the HP PSU... to supply the mentioned risers.

I don't really know what to do, I'm afraid of damaging my GPU's. Is there anybody with experience here that can help me out?

Thanks in advance. Smiley
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Can I supply a GPU with a Server HP PSU? on: April 10, 2016, 07:18:37 AM
Hi there, I have a doubt.

Can I give 12v to a GPU (turn it on) before I turn on the mainboard? would that be a problem?

I have a Gigabyte 7970, and a MSI Z77A-GD55, I also have a generic "500 Watt" PSU to supply the mainboard, and a HP DPS-1200FB PSU; I'm wondering if I can use it to supply only the GPU.

Assuming that I can supply the GPU with that HP PSU; Due that those PSUs works separately, do I need to turn them on at the same time? or can I turn on the HP before the generic one?

AFAIK, I can use a relay of 5V or 12V connected to the generic psus 5v/12v rail... so, it will turn on the PSU at the moment I turn on the mainboard... but before I do anything and burn something I need to know if I'm right or how should I do it.

Thanks in advance.

So, I just reached 0.015 but I can't "cash out". Apparently I need to wait more 7 days... that's just sad.

EDIT: I managed to request a withdraw within the settings page, despite not being able to do it on the home page. I will report back if I get paid.

I'm waiting for confirmations... anyways I've not reached the limit. Sad

Something is wrong in the website...

It says: "Notice: Undefined variable: ip in /home/rophettt/public_html/init.php on line 10"

Yet I can solve captchas with no problems...

EDIT: Website code is already fixed.
