1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keiser said Bitcoin Foundation should run Bitcoin and set the price on: April 27, 2013, 07:21:03 PM
The problem is a lot of people are not just thinking of bitcoin as an alternate currency to the USD, Euro and other currencies. People like Max Keiser are using it as an investment only.

Bitcoin was designed to have no controlling authority and it should remain that way. If things keep progressing, it could become adopted as an extreme viable currency in a lot of places and accepted even further than it already is

The text has been deleted many days ago. If you need assistance, then talk to an admin in chat and they will fix the problem for you.

CV has never and will never scam anyone. I have emailed one of the admin's to ask why he asked for the URL. All money generated from CV goes back into the pools to pay users.
11  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM/Debit/Credit Card on: March 21, 2013, 01:40:52 PM
Are there any technical, political, legal reasons no one has made a pre-paid debit card that allows me to fill it with Bitcoins?

And/or how's about a credit card that allows me to buy with credit, and pay-off with Bitcoins, and never need a bank account or fiat to do so?

This to me seems to be the current largest market for Bitcoin users.  Why isn't it being done?
There are quite a few reasons why so far. There is no reversal method for bitcoins, there is no way to make sure you get paid back yet. There are financial regulations that would need to be followed.

I think before anyone even thinks of doing credit cards, there are many other services that are needed to be built first. You would also need a large amount of investment capital.

As far as a debit card, it would involve converting currencies on the fly which could be integrated with bitpay possibly. But since you are dealing with financial transactions from BTC to USD or other currencies, you would need to follow a lot of government regulations.

I just wanted to post and let you know a couple things. You can also randomly earn 0.01 mBTC in CoinAd chat.

Also you don't have coinvisitor.com listed on your list of visiting to earn sites. There is also a chat there that you can earn bitcoins in. The amount varies depending on what is in the prize pool.

No one submitted coinvisitor before ( until now ) and it isn't a 'free' bitcoin site... ( or maybe it is now with what you say about the chat... ) They give out free BTC for chatting?  It might qualify for the not-free-but-popular-earn-site category.  Is it popular?  Do you and others feel it is worthy enough for the list?    I will check it out.

Thanks for the information.
BTCM had done a review on the coinvisitor chat, complete with instructions. http://thebitcoinmaster.blogspot.com/2013/03/get-satoshis-for-chatting-at-coinvisitor.html

Also I had only said it was a visit to earn site Tongue I believe they were at about 20,000 page views a day from what I heard the the primary admin and continually growing fast.

Hello Portnoy  Smiley It's about a week by now since I got into bitcoins and I always check https://freebitcoins.appspot.com/ for free bitcoins but it seems to be always closed and its "The Faucet is being fixed; please come back in an hour or three." notice has never been updated  Huh Just sharing  Cheesy

Thanks for the info.  I might have to make a special note for it. I would hate to have to scratch it off the list and then have it come back up and not know since it isn't something that I can keep tabs on, being a one time payout faucet.  It was also the original Bitcoin faucet.
Several months later..... I have continued to check and it appears to be down still. I've been checking since at least October.

He's going to regret what he did to this community. Communities like this are tight I feel bad for her, especially after she just had a baby with the guy

I dont feel bad for her at all or the child for that matter... I hope the child ends up in a foster home.  Better than growing up with scammer parents who are going to teach it to be like them.  Fuck them both.
If if she had no idea what he was doing until they started getting messages and phone calls? She could be straight edge for all we know
