... but I believe it might be different for you as it was an admin who locked the account

No, not the red part... just the blue box that says "Sorry,.., you are banned from this forum. For security your account has been locked..."

Ah I see, in that case, send an email to theymos with a signed message from this address: 19xUEyqjHbQqqhp5jY62YeQCh48jMwUG9S as posted here. Will take about a week or two at the minimum, but I believe it might be different for you as it was an admin who locked the account

Okay, thanks, I will try that...

My account, 'whitebeard', either got hacked or I screwed up trying to log in too many times after a computer crash that wiped out my password data.  I have written to the e-mail address given in the "you are banned" message (acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com) twice but have received no reply, so I decided to try this route since it has been nearly 6 months.

I know the rules say you are not supposed to create a new account to avoid bans except to post a thread here to communicate about retrieval, so here I am.

Please tell me how to proceed to get my account back!!  It wasn't much, but it was mine... LOL  Cheesy

Thanks

The e-mail for my previous account no longer exists and then my computer crashed losing my password to it, so it got blacklisted while I was trying to login by testing known possible passwords.  I am back, because this is an important part of the bitcoin community.  Smiley
