TPTB_need_war, if u have time, what is ur opinion on Safenet? Have u looked into it?

Reason I'm asking is bc if Ethereum for some reason does fail, then most likely that is the place many will go. (not that I think Ethereum will fail, but I guess it could theoretically happen as u have pointed out)
2  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB Bitcoin with Neteller ($2585) on: March 28, 2016, 05:54:56 PM
I want to buy Bitcoins with a neteller transfer. Preferably at marketprice. (negotiable)

I have a successfully traded for thousands of dollars with this account going two years back: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583572.msg8746186#msg8746186

We can split the amount up in increments for reduced risk. I will not send first unless you own a reputable business or have extensive trading history
3  Economy / Auctions / Re: High quality Bitcoin domains for auction on: March 27, 2016, 12:16:33 PM
So, is it an auction or do you have a fixed buy it now price? I like the look of one in particular, but would like to snag it outright

Send me a PM with your offer. If it's reasonable imo I might accept, if not I will update the listing with your bid and see reevaluate the bid in a week or two.
4  Economy / Auctions / Re: High quality Bitcoin domains for auction on: March 27, 2016, 09:29:38 AM
You really have some very good domains. Trust me
And all of them are seo rich as well. I hope you will be able to find someone to bid
I liked the domain candybitcoin.com  Wink

Thanks, not much action yet though, feels like perhaps the buyer I'm looking for is not here. We will see Smiley

Hi, I want to buy Bitcoin with neteller in a couple of days ($2600 split up in 4-5 transfers)

What is the best rate you can give me? We successfully traded 3Btc in 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583572.msg8324756#msg8324756

Btw I see that Neteller is not listed as an option now, do you know if It's possible to add the neteller card within paypal? If not could you make an exception? We can do the increments over a couple of weeks if that makes it better/less risky for you.

Someone please explain, what exactly can waves do better than Ethereum?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Paradox on: March 23, 2016, 08:51:17 AM
I'm curious TPTB_need_war,

Given your opinion that Ethereum is doomed, what is your opinion on safenet?

Would be cool if you could give me your thoughts, who knows, maybe you see some weak spots there as well. Not that I necessarily agree with your Ethereum criticism but nevertheless you clearly have something of value to add to the conversation. If I'm not mistaken the area which you are putting weight on is what even Vitalik himself probably would say a problem may arise.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 22, 2016, 11:36:30 AM
ico is finish but my coins keep on being less everytime i check .. why?Huh?

The "devs" are probably tunneling coins through their coinbase account to dilute what anyone else has invested at this point.

This is what happens when u invest in an ipo with zero transparency run by a forum moderator and a webdesigner..

Dunno what else to tell u
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 22, 2016, 11:29:00 AM

Looking into the future, events almost never play out the way they think we will.  Sometimes things turn out better, sometimes worse, but often they play out in unexpected ways.

Totally subscribe that. Everytime somebody does a prediction, I know automatically is cancelled to happen. The more people predicting something, the more the reality blends into unexpected outputs.

Bubbles always happen when nobody expect them.

The overexpected halving x2 price won´t happen. You can mark my words. It would be or way more north than 800$/BTC or 400 stagnated and/or sunk. I would say the most improbable mix of both.

I predict the price will move up and down.

  Tongue

Bold prediction my friend! Smiley

Poeple are going to get so burned here. The notion that a forum moderator and a webdesigner will be able to compete with Bitcoin and Ethereum is hilarious.

Luckily common sense tells us that there arent that many investors (victims) really. Probably 97% of the volume is fake to grab media attention and thus new victims. (there is a reason why there is zero transparency..)

Seeing how these two noobs can get much if any attention almost motivates me to start a scam myself. But, it just can't be that easy and I refuse to believe people are this gullible

Dash is Trash

Obvious scam from day1 perfectly executed
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: March 04, 2016, 07:38:10 PM
If you believe this coin run by a webdesigner and a forum moderator will not fail miserably then ur either delusional or ur a shill paid to write that post. I would bet on the latter.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: February 23, 2016, 08:09:51 AM
I can't believe that people have sent these guys over 600Btc, I literately can't believe it. I could be mistaken but I just see all these other people out there, actual developers, who could do everything better, so why should these guys win? :/
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Paradox on: February 16, 2016, 04:49:31 PM
Props to monsterer for facing the beast head on Smiley

We shall wait for the rebuttal.. hehe

Edit:

One observation I make myself is that TPTB first implied pretty strongly that whatever the issue was (outside my understanding) it was so fundamentally flawed it was unsolvable guaranteeing Ethereums fall. However, as I understand it atm it's more of a "the direction is wrong, maybe there is a solution, Ethereum should hire me to solve the problem"

I feel an apology here is warranted in case I am completely wrong with my assumption. Clearly TPTB is a bright guy and surprisingly very pleasant as evident by the video. Shocking but true Smiley

(...)

Are blatantly wrong, as you know given the fact that VB said himself that the foundation have been selling Eths all the way up to $6 to ensure economical safety for the years ahead.

As far as I know that is not correct. What he said was:

The foundation currently has ~1.65 million ETH, plus ~$750k in non-ETH assets. 1650000 * 6.1 + 750000 = $10,815,000. Based on our current ~$200k/month burn rate, that will last us ~54 months ~= 4.5 years. That said, we are planning some substantial expansions which will increase our expenses but also get casper and other fun stuff out the door much faster, and we are also starting to get interest for corporate sponsorships coming in, which could secure us a more sustainable funding path in the long term.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/45bhus/so_the_ethereum_foundation_can_now_fund_itself/czwpr04

They did not sell. And the price of $ 6.1 was correct two days ago but after the price drop it's currently at about $ 4.90. Makes less 2.7 Mio Dollar and I expect it to go down more.

The problem: They are highly dependent on the ETH-price.

In that reddit thread you are quoting VB says "Have been negotiating ETH sales going all the way up Smiley"

Which is obviously the smart thing to do as it is in the best interest for the foundation. If I'm not completely mistaken it implies that companies or private individuals who are looking to buy a lot of Eth have contacted Ethereum foundation and made deals. Nothing wrong about that, in fact if they didn't consideer that then I would seriously question their ability to run and develop something as major as this.

Anyways my point is that the "war" guy said Ethereum was running out of funding, which couldn't be more untrue, especially now.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Paradox on: February 14, 2016, 03:49:41 PM
TPTB_need_war, I can't for the life of me figure out if you have completely lost the plot, or if you are some sort of wizard able to see what all these other "geniuses" can't..

I mean, for this to be true, that Ethereum is built in such a way that it will not work, at all. Then this is some elaborate scam from prominent and thus far honorable community members, or some incredible naiv "hive mentality" of pure wishful thinking from seemingly very intelligent people. The amount of hype Ethereum has atm is unreal, just to give an examples, my occupation atm consistent of answering questions from friends and colleagues about this new drug called "Ethereum", questions with perhaps even more wonder and entusiasme that I saw for bitcoin 2012/13.

I wish someone could chime in and just bury this, just so regular Joes like myself could rest assured that Ethereum is not fundamentally flawed and doomed as you are claiming..

I feel you have little credibility though as you seem to present arguments that are not factual as facts and you have your own competing project under development..

And those point you make that I understand fully such as:

Are blatantly wrong, as you know given the fact that VB said himself that the foundation have been selling Eths all the way up to $6 to ensure economical safety for the years ahead.
