Now it looks more real than ever.(Not saying it is)

Nothing to be shame about taking a calculated risk and lose.

This coincidence, together with another resigned bitcoin foundation members' vaguely description of "management take over" on reddit, seem indicating behind the scenes, there is some co-ordinated action. ( For better for worse, I have no judgement ) To me, mtgox is either no longer under Mark's control. And there is some plan regarding mtgox, I do not know which.

For all they already send me the payment: Your share transfer have been completed on Monday and all should have received the dividend for the week.
Thanks you for participating this auction.

Pierre/ThrillHou, Your shares transfer request is sent to friedcat via PM. Will let you know once friedcat notified me when it is done. Hopefully everything is smooth, you will receive the next week's dividend and satoshi automatically As I said earlier, if any delays, I will forward the dividends. Hold on to this golden goose!

Unfortunately I just spent my last bitcoin on 10 shares in another auction so I'm not able to buy woox's 5 shares anymore Sorry about that. No worries, no fault on your side.
|
|
|
Also as a note, I received payment from ThrillHou for 5 shares and Pierre for 10 shares. Pierre's also gave me his/her receive address in the thread and ThrilHou gave his/her in PM.

I wait for some well recognized to confirm the interpretation of the auctions conditions, because I prefer the auction to end without my last hustle bid.
ThrillHou 5 @ 2.60 Pierre 10 @ 2.55 wo0x 5 @ 2.51
I don't know this forum too much, and especially that case excites a bit. whom will be asked to judge or mediate such issue?
Got to prepare some breakfast for the family now, so I'll be back in 2 hours or so.
wo0x, your earlier bid at 2.51 is not a winning bid, since Pierre bid 20 shares at 2.55. Because your last minute bid at 2.6 for 5 shares is higher than Pierre. you get the share. The remaining 10 shares goes to Pierre. Let me know if it is clear. I just claim there is a distinction between "increment per bid is 0.05" and " minimum increment per bid is 0.05" and want somebody like hero member or moderator (independent to this specific auction) to confirm or reject this. - In case of confirmation you made a mistake by setting my bid back to 2.50 per share, what is unfair to Pierre, because I am sure he would have bidden 20 times 2.56 to outbid all standing offers (including mine). Am I right pierre?
- In case of rejection I have to excuse that I did not bid 5 times 2.55 (to overcome the threshold of 2.50, what was my intention). But I will be happy I did my bid of "2.60 in case of own fault"
I will ask the moderators of this auction forum for their statement. But the other stakeholders should also bring up "their" well recognized forum members to solve it in community. We will sort this out today, am sure about I was asked by wo0x to take a look at this thread and see if the conditions are clear etc. I would say that in this case it is a little hard to judge since one could argue both that 0.05 increments refers to the lowest bid 'sum' (5 shares) or the 'per share' price. To elaborate. The 'minimum increment per bid is 0.05 BTC' could mean both that 2.51 is valid (since 5x 0.01 equals the min bid increment) OR invalid if you view it as a minimum bid increment per share. For future auctions I would suggest making it clear whether or not the minimum bid increment refers to a minimum bid 'per block' or 'per share'. In the spirit of making everyone happy I suggest that OP tries to make a ruling that makes all involved parties happy. I don't think there is a 100% clear cut answer based on: - The possibility of misinterpreting the 'minimum increment per bid is 0.05 BTC' as being per 5-share block or per 1-share price. - Whether or not OP treats wo0x 2.60 btc raise as a 'real bid' or not. If all parties agree that wo0x bid of 2.60 stands, the the posted result of: wo0x 5 @ 2.60 ThrillHou 5 @ 2.60 Pierre 10 @ 2.55 Is indeed correct, though with OP's approval I would suggest a resolution where IF wo0x wishes to retract his bid, Pierre is allowed to purchase the 5 shares from OP @ 2.55 as they were part of his original 20 share bid at this price point. I apologize in advance if I made any mistakes, I am pretty tired. I agree with the aforementioned solution. My original intent is to avoid countless 2.33 per share, 2.34 per share, so to be precise, I was asking the bid increment to be 0.05BTC per share, and it seems most bidder get it as intended, but sorry for the confusion. I'd rather to treat every bid as valid as possible and makes people happy. And more importantly, no matter I choose to see 2.51 bid as valid 2.51 bid or treat it as 2.50 bid, the bidding result is essentially the same regardless, wo0x 2.51 bid is outbid at the time wo0x replied, (Pierre 20@2.55 bid is definitely valid, since earlier I already post how I will treat the 2.51 bid, he is based on that info to bid, there is no fault of him no matter what ) If wo0x want to retract, I am ok with it and will give the shares to Pierre if he still want it, otherwise, wo0X please proceed to pay me as instructed and I will manage the transfer of shares shortly. (wo0x is winning based on his 5@2.6 bid) Again, thanks for everyone, and especially TheSwede75 for giving a fair opinion.

The auction concluded. Thanks for everyone. As the original post start at May 23, 2013, 04:21:42 AM for a one week auction, that last valid bid is from wo0x at Today at 04:21:17 AM (Good timing for wo0x last reply ) The winning bids are: 1.ThrillHou 5 @ 2.60 2.wo0x 5 @ 2.60 3.Pierre 10 @ 2.55 Please see my instructions on payment: After the auction close, please pay me to the BTC address in my original post, if you want to escrow, please also let me know who you will use and I reserve the right to change to another escrow I trust if I feel uncomfortable with the selected escrow. !!!IMPORTANT!!! please state you assigned share receiving address in this thread or PM. Make sure you have access to the private key of the address. It is better you pay me directly using a BTC address you own and I will send the shares to the address you payed me from, thus we both have direct evidence of trading. If the BTC are not received within 72 hours, the bid becomes invalid. The moment payment is received is treated as share ownership changed, so if in any case friedcat delayed transfer and I received dividend after the payment, I will also forward the dividend to the respective address. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The auction will close in less than about 2hrs. At current standing, I am waiting wo0x to clarify he is bidding 5 shares or 10 shares.
Assuming wo0x is bidding 10 shares, then the current winning bids are: 1. qukkM 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 2. wo0x 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER
Assuming wo0x is bidding 5 shares, then the current winning bids are: 1. qukkM 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 2. wo0x 5 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 3. davos 5 shares at 2.45BTC/ASICMINER
Sorry, hit the reply early, so just re-post.After the auction close, please pay me to the BTC address in my original post, if you want to escrow, please also let me know who you will use and I reserve the right to change to another escrow I trust if I feel uncomfortable with the selected escrow. !!!IMPORTANT!!! please state you assigned share receiving address in this thread or PM. The auction will close in less than about 2hrs. At current standing, I am waiting wo0x to clearify he is bidding 5 shares or 10 shares.
Assuming wo0x is bidding 10 shares, then the current winning bids are: 1. qukkM 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 2. wo0x 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER
Assuming wo0x is bidding 5 shares, then the current winning bids are: 1. qukkM 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 2. wo0x 10 shares at 2.50BTC/ASICMINER 3. davos 5 shares

... and 5 of those are outbid yet.
Yeah yeah ... 10 of those. wo0x, could you clarify? You mean you are bidding for 10 shares at price 2.51, right?( I'd mark it as bid 10 shares at 2.50 according to my 0.05 BTC minimum increment rule)
|
|
|
Yes, the rule is minimum increment of 0.05, so any bid is rounded to nearest 0.05 (lower end). So for example, I will treat 2.51 bid as bid of 2.50 and only ask for payment at 2.50 if they win, And earlier bid at 2.50 takes precedence.
Thanks for bidding.
