1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i want to know more about bitcoin !! on: January 03, 2018, 07:33:04 AM
hi i'm new here and i want to increase my knowledge about bitcoin and how i can increase my profit also
thnx

If you want to increase your knowledge about bitcoin or on any cryptocurrency you're in the right place because this forum is a perfect place for all your questions. Just keep reading about bitcoin, or anything you want to know and there's no only way. You can only increase your profit if you have enough knowledge, so you must focus first on how to gain knowledge rather than making profit at once. Then you will thank yourself because you first focus on knowledge than making money without it. The real world and bitcoin world is almost the same, where you must risk and accept it as a game, so take is slowly!  Wink
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the Ethereum Age on: January 02, 2018, 12:00:35 PM
It's possible and everyone want it Ethereum will take over Bitcoin, But I don't think 2018 Ethereum can reach 13000$.We will see what's the result of ethereum this year.

Maybe Ripple will. It went up 400x in like 9 months. Shocked

I doubt that ripple will went up up to 400 times and that it can surpass bitcoin. And even if this year might become Ethereum Age, I still don't think that Ethereum will go over bitcoin. But I hope Ethereum will soon reach 10K even if it doesn't surpass bitcoin this year, so all my holdings will be worth it before 2018 ends.  Grin

Just wanna ask, what is the reason why the ICO is postponed? And so, will it soon relaunch again? How long does it take for this project to launch again, so I can participate once again?  Undecided
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: December 20, 2017, 01:57:01 PM
Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?

A mate told me that Cindicator has the potential to become the next bitcoin in the future. Then I look to see if it really was a good coin, and I think he's a bit right. And 50 dollars can buy a lot of that coin because it's price is not so much expensive. I'll soon try to invest on that coin when I got my payment because I think it has the potential than the most, so you can join me at my ride if you want! Just only if you want!  Smiley
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin on: December 20, 2017, 01:23:51 PM
Anyone can say anything. It doesn't make the statement valid.

Agree. Everyone can say whatever they want -  future of bitcoin/crypto, next BTC, etc...
A lot of projects attempted to at least attain even half of the popularity of BTC, but, they failed.
And few months from now, visit this thread and more than likely the project that the OP was talking about is already dead.

You are right, most new coins appearing today says it can beat bitcoin, the next bitcoin etc. which says this coin would be better than bitcoin. And after that nothing happens. LOL
But let's still see the coin OP had mentioned, and let's all don''t judge it easily that it will soon fail. I'll try to read more about that coin and watch their updates and then go back to this thread and see if that coin has to potential to beat bitcoin. Let's see!  Undecided
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in 12 coins on: December 20, 2017, 12:51:09 PM
Hi guys im new here and this is my first post, i just invested in 12 coins in some @august and the Rest in November

My coins are ( Ripple-Iota-Cardano-Stellar Lumens-Verge-Pivx-Dogecoin-Btc-Stratis-Gulden-Civic-Siacoin)

My goal is to hold them until 2020! You guys think that is smart or should i take some of my coins end of 2018 and let the Rest just sit for more years?

Thanks in advance!!

For me you must hold them until 2020, for sure you can gain a lot of profit by just holding them. Though I am not so much familiar on some coins you invested like, Verge, Pivx, and Gulden, it doesn't matter, as long as you believe you can make profit by holding such coins like that. And I believe Ripple, Cardano, Iota, Btc, and Stratis is good a coin for investment. So you must expect a higher return of investment on that coins at 2020.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: December 20, 2017, 11:40:55 AM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Our country suffers from terrorism before and I'm glad that the war between terrorist, people, and our nations army is finally over. Today I can say that my country is slowly standing up behind the previous grueling situation that once happened before. We are a strong country, and I guess, our government today is doing their very best to make our country good enough once again. Our world can't escape reality to have bad news such things, but I assure all of you it won't last forever.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I being late investing in bitcoin and make a profit out of it? on: December 20, 2017, 10:31:19 AM
Please tell me if I can still make a profit in bitcoin. I am a newbie here and I want to know if I can still make it.

I realized that at this point/stage, we are a bit late but not totally. Bitcoin price for me is only at it's 20% price before it reach the maximum price it could ever attain. So consider yourself not yet late because you still didn't miss the peak of bitcoin's price that I predict to occur few years from now. You can still make a lot of profit if you start investing today and don't waste amazing opportunity bitcoin can bring to everyone of us. So, you must do your best, and think you can make it!  Wink
10  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: December 20, 2017, 05:22:06 AM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?

I think there is a possiblity that bitcoin can be accepted as a national currency on some country. Because it is decentralized and it has a big advatage on every countries national currency. But I guess government don't want it to become a national currency but just a secondary currency that can help people financially, since as of now it can be seen as a currency good for investment due to it's extreme volatility.
11  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BitCoin - Where is it illegal ? on: December 19, 2017, 12:31:12 PM
Are you sure that Bitcoin is actually illegal in Russia currently? According to that Wikipedia list, it's not.
Here's a list of the legality of Bitcoin per country, but I don't know how up to date it is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country

Wikipedia is always up to date and I believe it's a fact. I also think that Russia doesn't really make bitcoin illegal but they only just regulate bitcoin to avoid money laundering. That was the last update I'm read somewhere here I guess. And so I think this site is legit, so you can exactly see it here. Also let's just hope bitcoins illegality will soon get revoke on some countries in the world. And don't loose hope if this currency, bitcoin, is illegal at your nation, they will soon accept it, believe me!
12  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: December 19, 2017, 11:31:07 AM
Hey everyone Smiley

finally the price of bitcoins is increasing and was becoming more stable but ! Its price is again decreasing now... You know it will be very nice if you guys instead of dumping them hold on to them...
Dumping the bitcoins in panic because of the fear of the price never reaching this high value in future.. does affects the price of bitcoins in a very bad way!
Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...

Yup, you will be so much regretful if you sell at panic situation. We all knew bitcoin has the highest potential of all the coin in the market, so we all don't have any reason to dump bitcoin at a low price. Remember that fear can kill you in the real world, so same here in bitcoin. Most successful person today don't feel anything when it comes in business, neither fear, so if you want you become successful here in bitcoin we must fear nothing!  Wink
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: School Uniform on: December 19, 2017, 11:08:14 AM
Is uniform really necessary to students? Do we really need to formalize students to study? In most asian countries many require School uniform, mostly because of distinction of schools. However in the US, students can wear whatever they want for as long as they follow the dress code of the school on what is considere appropriate. What are your thoughts in this matter, do we really need school uniforms for students? Give some specific reasons why or why not.

We don't totally benefit in wearing school uniforms, so it is not so much necessary, but instead, it is another expenditure. School uniform is just for identification to where school a certain person belongs. And sometimes, it acts like our signature here in bitcointalk, it can be use as a tool to attract investors. So, the school where we belong are the ones who benefit from us to attract new students, but it doesn't matter, because we students also benefit from schools a lot!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum lead the Cryptocurrency market? on: December 18, 2017, 12:59:21 PM
Will Ethereum lead the Cryptocurrency market? If yes, then by what time?

Ethereum is one of the greatest altcoin ever lived but still I don't think Ethereum will take the lead on the bitcoin which is the first ever cryptocurrency of the world. Usually, a lot of people are asking the same question. Some say it will and some say it won't, and though bitcoin came first than ethereum, no one still knows what will happen. So don't easily believe if I say Ethereum won't take the lead.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Remember when this looked like the end of the world? on: December 17, 2017, 12:58:53 PM
I was remembering the good old times and saw this:

Back then, a lot of people sold their bitcoins, and never came back. These people are of course hating themselves for life. People like this:

This guy saw a huge, unsustainable bubble at $15, the price went as high as $30+ before the correction. These are the type of guys that are perma-bears and hate people that held it and will try to make you dump just to feel better about how wrong they were.

And also realize how the % of volatility has went down a lot, even with the current ups and downs.

Study the price and the perspective that people had back then to get a better picture.

Those kind of guys doesn't deserve success here in bitcoin, maybe he deserve something different. But we can't just laugh at him and some others who left this forum because even almost old users didn't expect the price of bitcoin to rise like this didn't you? I'm sure that guy is drowning in regret at this moment because he gave up easily, or maybe, he now has a better job that is why he chooses not to come back.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bittrex not verifying new members? on: December 17, 2017, 11:25:36 AM
i think that is a just an over load error just what is happening with etherdelta which cost me fees without making the transaction that i made

I think not, most higher rank member already said that it takes months before a certain person get verified. I also want to ask the same question because today I came to verified my account but the same thing happens to me. So now, I realized that bittrex takes time to verify new members like us.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 17, 2017, 10:51:28 AM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.

What a ridiculous idea you got there dude! But still, if you want to sell your house for bitcoin, make sure you have some friends, cousins, or whomever that might take care of you in a profitable but insane investment you want to do. Because the streets is the most dangerous places in the world, and who knows, it is possible that you might won't see your house/money/bitcoin again if you spend your 2 months on the street, so be careful!  Cheesy
And a big NO, if you're gonna ask me if I would try that technique, because simply, it was totally insane.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: December 17, 2017, 08:12:05 AM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

What's for being so much worried about loans, mining or whatever? If I were you, and I have 800 BTC at my wallet, I won't worry so much about giving loans and putting interest on it, but, rather I would build a business worth millions that can make a huge profit over time. As they said, giving loans are too risky because there is no guarantee of returning it back specially in bitcoin world. Then stop thinking about giving loans, you have a lot of money, and it is so much enough for you to have a more stable life.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 17, 2017, 07:34:32 AM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

there is always a chance that bitcoin will end. the world is unpredictable. but even when Satoshi disappeared did bitcoin end? bitcoin will not end until some other crytocurrency replace it or the world ban it or the people using it would stop using it. it is not too late to invest.there is still a chance but that would be on the future.
Bitcoin will end when there is a much better replacement. But for now even altcoin is still far behind to be able to offset the bitcoin, so it is still very long bitcoin can be replaced.

What kind of better coin might it be, much better than bitcoin? Even if this world is so much unpredictable, for me, Bitcoin won't be replace by any newly developed coin. And there is no way bitcoin will soon come to an end or being replace by another coin. As long as bitcoin never reaches $1,000,000 it is never to late to invest.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins real or fake? on: December 17, 2017, 07:02:45 AM
How did these new coins come about, there are so many. Are they owned by company? There are some with weird names. Are they all real or fake?

Not all of them are owned by a certain companies, but I guess some coins are. And I don't know what exactly are you pointing out by saying real or fake, all coins are real and you can see it at the coin market cap. Even though some of them are not so much valuable, still safe to say, we can earn a few profit even on scam coins. And what kind of weird names have you heard? Maybe it is not a coin?
