The 2017 rally has really opened my eyes up to cryptocurrencies and the awesomeness it brings. I'm eagerly looking to get into the market, but with the huge price appreciations, I'm worried I'm to late and will get badly penalized if/when the market dips. What is your point of view, should I get in now or wait ?
You are too late for certain coins but others are still young and have potential. If you want to get those with potential right when they are born go for ICOs but make sure you research who is running them and what the project is actually doing cause so many newbies have gotten scammed by horrible ICOs. That is right. But the Bitcoin Cash is still young and has some potential. |

Why are you making a switch to 1070's? With the 500 series coming out 400 stock should start to drop in price or is it due to more power and limited pci express lanes. If you are after zec 1070 is the way to go. If that 'invisible hand' somehow disappears you might end up with gpu which mines well but costs too much. I think he can keep it to mine ZEC. |

the bitcoin price remains almost calm on $1000 and it looks like it is quite not moving but despite that we still have more days to come before February 2017 although we don't know what will be the price of bitcoin on that month or If bitcoin will ever hit that price it is still possible that bitcoin will be crossing $2000 if ever there will be a big increase to its market cap .
I'm surprised it's been so calm since it broke $1000. This could be a very good thing. It's not shooting up to $1500 like some people wanted for short term gains, but it's exactly what I wanted to happen. It may mean that the price of btc will continue to slowly and healthily rise as it has been the past two years. A very good thing for bitcoin. It is good for the price to rise slowly. If the price hit $1500 in August, that is already very good for the society. |

They are just cryptocoin developers. Who delivered/keep delivering a broken product while make millions. ETH heads are a fucking joke. The epitome of all that is wrong in crypto. The price of the ETH is still over $5. So it is quite normal. |

i think that bitcoin is good for investment, but if you want get more you can wait until the price down
We cannot be sure that when price will go down and if you are going to hold it for long term then even current price can be considered as a low price as it will rise in future. We cant really know the bitcoins price movement on the future. If you invest 1 btc as today you cant still assure yourself to have good profits on the long run. If bitcoin price would rose to $1m then for sure its a good result but if bitcoin would reach only on a small amount then its not ideal to hold for long terms. I don't see it touching the price in millions in future, and 1 btc will not give you enough profits if you simply keep it idle in wallet, but if you start trading with that amount then it will give you better profits. people thinking that it is possible for the price to go up that much are just dreaming. at some point a price in the few thousands is possible, but nothing in the 5 figure range. i think that's simply unrealistic and basically impossible without institutional investors on board. Yeah 4 digit price is possible to achieve in future but nothing beyond that as its an unrealistic value to think of and if you hold your coins to sell at that price then yor ares surly wasting your time. It is very possible for the bitcoin price to reach $1000 in the middle of next year as long as there is no big problem. |

According To me Its Not Safe to Invest Your Money Into Bitcoin For Long Term Because Bitcoin Price is Not Stable And You Can Lose Your Whole Capital If the Price Crashes..... According to me Instead Of Investing Your Money In Btc For Long Invest it For Short Term So You Can Hope To Make Some Profit..... short term investment is better indeed.. and I would suggest to go for day trading. mean always keep your eyes on your money and see how they are going and doing. day trading allow you to redeem your money anytime if you see the price is dropping and you are going to lost. Sometimes it is good term and it is more better to work with short term in tradiing too if you are going to keep an eye on track of any exchange website you will know more about trading that you can really make profit there every day if i only had a chance to bring back my coins and i will not choose gambling :/ I think short term trading is better then holding them to sell when price goes higher as with short term trade you can make regular profits and it will also grow your coins in long run. In the short term, the bitcoin price might drop against some altcoins. In the long term, it will rise against most altcoins. |

In the last few days, most Ethereum developer declared that they will work 100% on ETH, so the price has risen. The ETH price has been around 0.0185 for some time. It might be waiting for the direction by the big whales. I reckon the Ethereum price will rise a lot in the next few days. The market is concentrated on the Monero at the moment. It will come back to ETH. Nice assumption, what about the Monero money moving to Ethereum Classic (ETC) It depends on the intention of the hacker. If the hacker wants to sell, the ETC will drop in price quite a lot. It seems the hacker does not want to sell. Or he cannot sell at the moment. If he does so, he will be caught. |

Bitcoin is a long term game, in my opinion, you certainly will have to wait to get rich. Just like the buyers of companies like apple, google and so on, you may have to wait a few years to get really rich.
You cannot expect to get rich only with 1 btc, as it is very small amount but in other way its good amount to invest in altcoin trading where you can expect higher profits if you invest 1 btc. I bought a few bitcoin a week ago when the price was around $570. Now the price is $600. I will be rich in the future. |

I hope the law suit will be launched as soon as possible so that the authorities will notice the DAO theft. ROTFLMFAO!!! Wat?!?! You silly son. Yes his intention is silly because he thinks the "thief" will go to jail. But I am interested for this to go to court and see what arguments Vitalik can throw in the court and what counter arguments the "thief" will make in his defense. The "thief" will have the upper hand I predict because he really did not "steal". He used what code was in the contract to transfer funds in his control. He found a legal loop hole. Do you ever wonder why Vitalik is not after the "hacker"? Because he and the slock.it developers know they have messed up and they cannot go after him and take him to court. They will lose. That is right. But which court do you think will be responsible for that? A court in the UK or Phillipins? It does not matters now. The ETC hacker will get his ETC and he can do whatever he wants with his coins. Does it mean the ETC price will crash a lot when the DAO hacker sell his ETC when he is allowed to do so? It is possible that if the DAO hacker does not declare publiclly that he will not dump the ETC, the ETC will be dumped by others. Lol gotta love the kindergarten skool (yes I spelt it with a k) of ETC criminal coin numbnuts who blindly support criminals. You get what you deserve. You can vote there with your Ethereum. But it does not matter much as the miners will vote with their machine on the hard fork. For the time being, 70% of the miners who voted, they vote for the hard fork. The decision is not final yet. We just need to wait for 2 to 3 days to see the result of the hard fork. If there is consensus, the price will rise. The hard fork was a success. There are two chains now. So many people are investing in two chains now. |

The main problem with the bitcoin is that its price is too volatile at the moment. It might be better in a few years.
When the bitcoin price gets higher to around $100.000, it will not be so volatile. It will be similar to gold. That is right. When the bitcoin market cap is larger, it is more difficult to manipulate the price of bitcoin. |

But you have to know that the value of Bitcoin is going to rise slowly and that is really nice but of course it will be really hard to predict what is going to happen.
The value of Bitcoin is rising and that is perfect for people with already Bitcoin than you have to wait for the right moment to sell it.
For me, in the next 5 year, there will not be any right moment to sell as I am a believer of bitcoin and holld for the long term. I will hold most of my coins for the long term. In the mean time, I will use some to buy goods to help the adoption. The adoption can increase the number of users. When more people use the bitcoin, the price will rise further. |
