4  Economy / Computer hardware / I want to BUY miner for bitcoins on: March 07, 2016, 07:46:06 AM
Hi, I want to buy my first miner. I am not doing this to make money, I actually expect to lose money each day. I don't need to make a lot each day, like $50-$100 is all per MONTH and I don't care what electricity runs.

Please give me the specs on how to fill out http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?h=1155&p=1300.00&pc=0.00&pf=0.01&d=158427203767.39200000&r=25.00000000&er=414.08230000&hc=0.00 so I can know what to expect from what you are selling.

I will only buy using escrow

And I'll need shipping to Israel, I will agree to pay the difference in pricing for that but I'll need it 2 day shipping as I need to get started.

Please give me details and also if possible urls from reputable places that have reviews or discussions about this product that it's good.

Thank you

awesome

so S5 will do like $45/month, just so i have a comparison, the s7 would do what?
i know it's like 4-5 times the price used atleast , i'm curious what difference in production is though

when you say prices are cheaper on this forum, do you mean i would buy them used from people?
7  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Need recommendation on mining just to earn $50/month, don't need to make profit on: March 07, 2016, 07:16:01 AM
thanks guys

so http://www.amazon.com/AntMiner-S5-~1155Gh-0-51W-Bitcoin/dp/B00RCTIY4G

so does everyone pretty much say i could expect to make around $50 in USD's worth of bitcoins?
electricity is what it is, i'll assume it will be a loss, but just in terms of what it can generate conservativeliy what do you guys think?

also is this all i need? should i get anything along with this machine like fan etc...?

9  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Need recommendation on mining just to earn $50/month, don't need to make profit on: March 07, 2016, 06:37:30 AM
Hi, I have no need to make a profit, I am expecting a loss, I don't care about that.
I just want to pay some monthly bills and remain anonymous with no paper trails and I've looked into ALL the options and posted here and got many replies and I realize for me to be 100% anonymous this is how I have to do it.  So....

can you guys recommend a piece of machinery, in $200-400 range that you know works fairly good, won't break easily and won't be too much of a deficit. So if i make $2/day let's say electricity cost $3/day, something like that is fine where i'm losing each day.

I really have no idea what I should buy.  If possible, provide a link to where I can buy the machine you recommend (amazon, ebay...)

thanks so much
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: question on using localbitcoins.com paying in cash on: March 06, 2016, 01:46:35 PM
how would i know if it's a hacked or stolen account though?
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: question on using localbitcoins.com paying in cash on: March 06, 2016, 01:41:07 PM
@Soros Shorts

so the escrow thing with giving him cash seems safe no?
i mean, yes he could technically run away, but this profile https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/israeliboy/ seems very safe to me atleast, i have zero experience, but with a profile like this, would you feel 100% comfortable giving him cash and waiting for him to press the release button?
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: question on using localbitcoins.com paying in cash on: March 06, 2016, 01:06:11 PM

If it is a funded transaction, the sender will be localbitcoins. I prefer a funded transaction as opposed to one where the seller sends you coins directly from his wallet. That way if there are any issues regarding non-confirmation you can take it up directly with localbitcoins support instead of having to hunt down the seller.

For example, once the seller releases the transaction from localbitcoins escrow and the buyer sees the tx broadcast to his wallet, the buyer can give the cash and both parties can walk away immediately.

hi, i'm paying in cash though, is it possible for seller to FIRST put his bitcoins into escrow at our meeting, i hand him money, then he releases into my localbitcoins account which is instant?
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / localbitcoins account to another account at localbitcoins on: March 06, 2016, 11:20:49 AM
Hi, I am trying to finalize my first transaction at localbitcoins.com , it would be in person and in cash

The seller 'claims' that the transfer is instant, no waiting like a wallet to wallet

I want to know if in fact that is true, and if so, should i be aware of any risk. Like say he transfers to my account at localbitcoins.com and I see it there, is there any risk at all there could be a problem with his bitcoins at that point?
and is he correct that normally when dealing with wallet to wallet (outside of localbitcoins.com) there is in fact a delay of even up to around an hour) but there isn't any delay when moving from 1 account at localbitcoins to another account.

thanks

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / question on using localbitcoins.com paying in cash on: March 06, 2016, 06:56:29 AM

he transfers to my wallet
i verify it's in my wallet
i hand over the money

19  Economy / Services / I want to hire someone to set up mining for me on: March 04, 2016, 06:27:33 AM
Hi, I need to mine a small amount of bitcoins per month, equal to just $100/month to pay for my bitcoin expenses.

I don't have the time to 'learn' the process, I just want to pay someone that will set it up for me, tell me exactly what VPS I'll need, what software I must have, and just explain how to set it up and answer basic questions.

Please let me know if anyone is interested in helping and how much you will charge, feel free to PM me as well

20  Economy / Trading Discussion / how to buy bitcoins without showing ID or credit card on: March 04, 2016, 06:20:27 AM
I need to buy a small amount (like $20 a month) worth of bitcoins to pay a service.
I do not want to provide an ID or associate with my credit card.

I prefer to do it online as well and not in person.

Can anyone please advise me on how to do this?

TIA!
