1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty campaigns for Newbies? on: June 09, 2018, 01:12:26 PM
I am also a newbie and like your self I want to try bounty campaign but as I read advises here from much high rank Bitcoiners, I think I will focus first in up ranking my status to Junior member so that my stakes would be good and I will be well rewarded.  This is what I am advising you to do too.  Let us not hurry,  take one step at a time.
2  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: will all the countries make cryptocurrency legal? on: March 16, 2018, 02:04:19 AM
Eventually, in my opinion, Bitcoin will be used in all countries be it legal or illegal.  Now that Bitcoin was introduced and gained many followers and members, nobody including government can  stop or control it.

Bitcoin (and altcoin) mining is starting to use a lot of power (e.g. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/nov/27/bitcoin-mining-consumes-electricity-ireland). Besides keeping the Bitcoin ecosystem alive, spending that power has no other practical use.

Some companies are starting to combine mining with other useful features, like heating.
https://www.qarnot.com/crypto-heater_qc1/

I agree it's a complete waste of electricity to produce all that heat and do nothing with it - even worse you have to spend more electricity to vent that wasted energy!

Yes and lots of companies with many mining servers  will get caught due to their use of illegal electricity.

how the technology and gadgets are affecting the mind and health of people. is it in more negative way or is it in positive way?

This high technology has a negative and positive impact to the people.

2. Transacting business both in private and government sector become easier because of the internet.
3. Open lots of options for people to earn money like BPO jobs, online jobs and this  cryptocurrent {Bitcoin}.

2. Internet used for crime or used in a way that harm people.

There is a lot of talk about institutional money coming into btc. Does anybody think they wana buy it for 20k? They have money and resources to make a dump. If we want mass adoption and big money flowing in we have to expect things like this.

Things like this is inivitable because  big fishes have lots of money and they have the right to do what they wants with thier riches.  The dump is expected, let's us be aware of it and take advantage.  We might become rich also, no one can say.

6  Other / Meta / : When do YReOU think you will level up on merits? on: March 12, 2018, 03:29:03 AM

I do really want merits for me to level up but then I dont worry about it to much because I cant do nothing about it.  What I did was made my post very clear and relevant to the topic at handand leave the merits to people out there.

Off-topic replies have become a big problem. From now on, I will be deleting such replies without notice, forum-wide. If your replies disappear, this is probably why.

All replies must respond to the topic's original post in some way, even if they are replying to an on-topic reply. If your reply has nothing to do with the topic post, either add some content that is relevant or create a new topic.

Please report off-topic posts as soon as you see.

I very much agree with this.  I read and understand first the topics very carefully before commenting on it.
8  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-10] China Will Move Slowly to Regulate Cryptocurrency: Central Bank Gov on: March 12, 2018, 03:11:54 AM
I think right now its happenning already, Chinese is slowly moving to find ways to regulate cryptocurrency in their country, China. To them,   their government should gain control of cryptocurrency, for them to have the firsthand and government benefitted on it.

The most significant impact of Internet and technology to people and society is, life becomes easier, communication technology  is very good, connecting to people around the world especially relatives is easy and fast, transacting business is easier and it present many options  to do it.

Bad effect of enternet technology I observed, is more on health, people tend to be addicted especially the games. Children especially teens are the most vulnerable because they have a little control of their wants.
