Those USB block erupters will get you absolutely nowhere. They don't have a high enough hash rate to even come close to competing with other SHA-256 miners. If you are a novice and are just getting into it I would recommend this as a bare minimum: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-S3-PLUS-453-GH-s-Bitcoin-BTC-ASIC-Miner-/371304797293?hash=item56737d946d:g:aaoAAOSwqu9VLEuI#viTabs_0 . Don't make the mistake I made where I bought a gridseed ASIC dual miner. I'll never get return on investment with it. Happy mining .

How are new coins made then?

Hey guys, I'm new here so I don't know how many people will reply to this but I've heard that Ripple's (XRP) difficulty is low and I would like to get into mining it. I run windows 10 but I will be building my own mining rig once I get enough money. I can't seem to find any tutorials/mining software on the internet. Can anyone link/help me find it? Also, which graphics card is the best for alt-coin mining?
