I was thinking it also wasn't quite worth it, if you check out this site: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ you can get an idea of how much your system as a bitcoin mining machine is worth!

And like what I have learned so far.

Hope to find out all I can regarding Bitcoin

Earning it, Spending it and making it or not  Wink

As I am finding out mining for bitcoin is not worth it

unless I can get free electricity and a powerful system

Rig to do so.

I'm new to the wonderful world of bitcoin mining!  I just got my first gaming pc and have noticed that it is quite the beast of a bitcoin miner as well!  I know nothing about bitcoin mining, but hopefully I can find someone (or some people) who have the patience to teach a newbie how it works!

I'm new to Bitcoin and it's good to here this advice, although somewhat unsettling.  Surely there must be somewhere where one could find a mentor, or someone to look up to while learning the ropes of Bitcoin mining!  One could only hope though.
