I live in a neighborhood like most people.... I have 3 car garage one  closed off , It's where my home miners will always be.
If you think at any residence you could power one of those systems much less house it you are crazy, they require 1.5 megawatts of power and are large and have a separate 10sf power hook up.
These systems require main trunk lines and near main lines I.E. warehouse. Those systems are for business and my home ones for fun.
Why is it so many people try to act like they know everyone others worlds, lives? This is why I usually don't post much and lesson learned/done.

 I just started what I call dumb mining Christmas 2 years ago with a single overpriced miner and followed where they recommended mining Eligius but my payout time kept getting extended /bumped and last one was 6 weeks and that made me nervous , then bought s5's last year and saw Antpool so dumb mined there, never tried to learn just took my earnings and bought more, then to one other and well when I asked a question ( like mine here) the guy snapped at me but my question was this. If I am producing this much how can I be .5% of pool if pool supposedly has 36-40k TH/s My pay was very good but I do not like deception so I mined at antpool for a lower return.
I then started researching and reading posts on different boards and discussions and my decision was based on integrity and trust of pool owners by it's farmers and not total income and thus I came here and started learning how payouts worked and such I am so new to this whole thing it's sick but I must say dumb mining was relaxing.

Why is it when we get on a roll masses join and we stop finding blocks.. they leave. I understand someone wandering looking for a good pool but you can't make money if you just hang for awhile anywhere. but why is it we end up not getting blocks when the fury hits? I know just random I assume...or is it.
Either way we had a great run and it was exciting .
Ordered 2 more s7's and hoping someone comes out with a new super efficient unit soon. I want to order more but want next generation/sigh

Another good day and that brings up my dilemma , I was wanting to purchase more miners but also know from this forum that new machines are going to be coming out and want to make more now but also know that with the halving and such that it may be better to wait for more efficient units...and seriously considering dumping masses of money into it in near future. I am working a lot and don't have time to research what's coming up so thought I would ask here for news of new machines coming.
As far as large investment I have inquired with bitfury about the 12ph containers....and talking to brother and friend about joining in.
But for now just basic units.

me again, I noticed I have a high invalids showing up and has happened before and was wondering if anyone would know why or if this is normal to sometimes have peaks, I am usually much lower than server average. Of course I have a freak in there with 0%, all temps are fine and network is fine here.


0.285%, 0.333%, 0.191%, 0.330%, 0.000%, 0.283%,  0.310%
These were all up in .50 and so on except the one that stayed at zero.
I am trying to learn rather than my last year of dumb mining for fun and I plan to expand.
P.S. we need 10 more blocks today so get on it!!!

Hey guys and girls, I keep seeing about how bitcoin will split in half and I am assuming that means instead of 25 bitcoins per block it will be 12.5 bc per block and at that rate ...ouch..
My question is why will it do that and if anyone knows of more efficient machines or ways of mining because that is going to hurt and I want to grow not shrink.
I read somewhere on forum but can't find it about new chips coming out but can not find any info on it.

This is to whom is having the power company whine about using so much power... I have 400 amp service at my house and when I asked my company for my peak at any time they sent two guys out and looked at my equipment (only 7 s7's) and they asked me what it was for and I said I do heavy online gaming and use those computers to give me the extra edge and acted like a total geek way into games, they promptly said you can run ---- more machines.
it is up to them to prove you aren't gaming not you to prove you are.
 I wouldn't run over 70% of rated load just for safety sake just because I do not trust that others have connected main lines well enough and when I checked my main lines ( at my box) I could actually tighten them and that means that their side may be not tight enough but then again I am paranoid after having witnessed some messy electrical things and fires.
I am a late starter in this game but hope to slowly grow.

Hi all, I am new to server and fairly new to mining, I started at eligius after buying a machine 2 years ago, then bought s5's and relivested and was fearfully trying different servers and was on Bitminter and then they went bad and after asking a question after almost a week about payouts I got a smart.. remark and after another day I searched and found this place.
 I stopped mining after a day of dead and reran my electric so that as things get better I may buy some more, I only have 7 s7's as of now but hope to add more as I can from earnings.
After that long story I would like to say I have been reading the posts and see the responses and work going on behind the scenes and really appreciate the effort and hope everything works out for all of us.
I am pretty uninformed on a lot of this but am constantly reading and learning how things work but still like not knowing the whole gambit.
I would like to know under worker management if I should have a value in there or not and if it helps?
