God... you have no grasp of hypothetical phrasing, do you? I'm saying that I for one would be ok with AUR being offered on only the ISX server once adoption reaches an apex in Iceland. That's coming from someone outside of Iceland. -Fuse That would not be good, I am looking to become arbitrageur between bittrex and the ISK exchange. Any advice on how it can be achieved outside of Iceland? |

Yes, it's still active. A new team has taken over and has been working on adoption and advancement in Iceland. The total supply of 21 million coins looks attractive for future investments, but for now it is still too early to conclude that this coin is good. I will see the development going forward, as well as to the developer's activation in developing it

You guys are forgetting about big bitcoin mines that are based in iceland. 5 percent of bitcoin is mined in iceland by big companies like genesis mining. These companies are going to play a big role soon because they can produce bitcoin cheaply and then buy auroracoin really cheaply on bittrex selling for higher price on isx.is. these mining companies have at least one billion dollars of bitcoin to trade this way.

So, you have to live in icland for 7 years and right after that you can start to trade on isx.is!) You can also just come here in 1-2 years and have money to spend! How about paying for your hotel, flight, and all restaurants in 2 years with Auroracoin. That sounds like a very good way to use AUR and to get more of it circulating in the Icelandic economy. Probably some other spin offs too, such as a possible increase in tourism and other/additional money spent. Buldar should go visit Iceland and spend AUR. |

Eggert if you want to talk about a scam lets talk about how the Icelandic króna is distributed, who gets 90% of the money and how its done. How the money printing continues to devalue the króna causing inflation and burning up our economy.
The only scam I can see is Eggert trying to manipulate the price to get it lower to buy some more!
Funny of Eggert to point at Cryptcy's bankruptcy and someones loss because of that and try to connect the developers to Cryptcy going bankrupt and somehow that is related to the airdrop.
Even funnier of Eggert to point out that Cointelegraph is covering Auroracoin as if that is a bad thing and somehow a conspiracy, making the devs rich. Please!
Eggert then continues to point to an Icelandic politician that was backing up our Panama paper former PM, that had to resign. Please point to someone with credibility. Now I'm guessing Eggert supports the Framsók party in Iceland, such a shame.
Eggert's last quote is a post pointing out yes some people sold their coins on Cryptcy/Mintpal and yes some people collected from the airdrop form more than one person, like me, that claimed for my whole family on one address. Then yes, some school kids claimed for their entire class and payed them out in ISK. That is called trading!

So im kind of screwd, I had around 40.000 Aur on Cryptsy and could not get them out when they closed. Guessing they had more Aur on the exchange than they had in theyr wallets. Is there some chance of getting them back (like it looks like with MTGox now).. Some type of mass lawsuit against them or anything  We are monitoring their cold wallet and will report any movements to bittrex and other exchanges. At this time all we know is what has been reported on twitter "Internet & wallet server physical location has been given to the receivership representative. Bittrex held funds information was also given" I presume they waiting for +200k sat price to start dumping. |

My suggestion for the ISK exchange is to have 0% fees and create more volume to have the illusion that the exchange is busier then it is. This will attract the Icelanders into thinking they missing out, I know you people are most likely doing this already but try push it to $50k . Then pay some puppet at cointelegraph and newspaper in Iceland to write up a articles about the influx of people.

I'm very interested in your thoughts on the ISX exchange draining the Bittrex action? ISX exchange does ISX->AUR and Bittrex does BTC -> AUR how do you envision such a thing occurring? Also, in a globalized market how does the team expect to have AUR only for Iceland? How will "foreign" AUR be "imported" just for the sake of Iceland? I think it will dwarf the volume on bittrex soon. Don't know. There is place to grow in each market. Ultimately, AUR will flow to iceland, but way to go. In the next months, there will be some challenges, and already great solutions being discussed. One of these challenges is how to get AUR back to iceland ? There is already a lot of AUR in iceland, but we dont know yet how many will actually hit the market. So foreign aur will somewhat need to be ''imported''. From then, i guess ISX will drain Bittrex action / lets work toward this ! I would use AUR to get into bitcoin if I was a Icelander, once you have AUR there is no stopping anyone from getting money out the country by exchanging it on bittrex. I think more AUR will leave Iceland then come in. AUR can be used as a gateway to bitcoin which will give it value. Obviously the foundation members must know the laws and not risk having a asshole the size of the grand canyon in prison because they didn't think of this strategy to send money out the country. |

Could someone summarize the benefits of Auroracoin?
It's has the same supply schedule as precious metals and the for acts like gold.
