1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LTCR] Litecred - [QUBIT][8 MB][MINING][HYBRID POW/POS SUBSIDY] RELAUNCHED on: June 08, 2016, 12:07:28 AM
How can I mine LTCR? It seems there are no pools available right now
The olny way is to solo mine.

Can you tell me how to do it? Or show me some thread about it? I don't know much about mining.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 25, 2016, 09:19:21 PM
Guys, I'm having a problem with the web login since yesterday. Doesn't matter which one I use (login.lisk.io, login01.lisk.io or login02.lisk.io), the same thing happens: I send my LISKS to Poloniex, then it keeps coming back to my balance, and then going on the transaction again... it keeps happening and I don't get any confirmations.

If I log out, the transaction is gone and the LISKS are back in my balance. Can anyone help me, please?

I suspect it is either Ddos attacks or too many requests per node and they are not going thru , have far up the list have you tried?

the more people trying to request actions on a node the busier the nodes and what seems to be the less liklihood of the transaction going thru currently , either by an over load of requests or ddos, technically the same thing, althou one is legitimate requests and one is 10's of thousands of fake requests .

how many different nodes have you tried? the most used ones will likely be the less likely to work as they are the busiest

I've only tried those 3. I wasn't sure if the rest of the list was valid, since the Lisk Team didn't tweet it. Guess it was unofficial, like the rest of the nodes thrown up here in the thread.

I used a 3rd party node, but from a trusted member of the forum, i don't know how safe it is all i can tell you for sure it is worked for me over 12 hours ago

Stuck trying to move $LISK?

Use this WORKING wallet mirror: http://107.170.93.237:8000

TIPS appreciated - LISK 14007737956546258989L or BTC 1A5zBffD75H2kFo4F147xTg6FKvkfZ6Znx

Both Mac and Docker did not work for me so i stood this up for the community on a linux server. I'll keep it up for 24hrs hopefully DDOS will be over by then. Takes about ~40min for a tx to show up on Poloniex. Use at your own risk, no support provided, and all that jazz.

danosphere is a well trusted member of the forum and also a respected member of this forum.

dunno how trusted these nodes are , i mean the creator danosphere is trusted but can someone possibly snoop in on it? not 100% certain

also please whenever someone quotes another user, click the post to be lead to their original post, someone could easily edit the post when quoting someone else and try to trick, so for safety always follow the quote to the original post

Thanks for your help, man. Appreciate it. I don't trust this 100% but I understand your point. I'll wait for the official wallet to work properly.

I'm getting "account has no LISK" on this second backup cluster. But I do have, it's there on my balance.

Any clues?

I like the idea of someone taking over this project.

Talk about alternatives... there are zillion altcoins in the market. This one has a great potential, we've all seen it.

Anyway, I see no harm supporting the continuation of this project.

13  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free1BTC.com - Best Faucet - Free 1 Bitcoin on: April 21, 2016, 09:04:17 PM
WARNING: THIS SITE IS A SCAM! THE 1 BITCOIN PRIZE CANNOT BE WON AT ALL!

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was a little suspicious, how you can afford to give 1 bitcoin as a prize 5 times every 1000 claims (approx.) I decided to do a bit of research... The obvious thing was to check the payments. First sight, it looks legit right? If you look deeper, clicking on the address takes you to a tx. The tx shows 1 BTC being sent to an address. Legit, right? Then you realize the site pays out via FaucetBox only!

There is a tiny chance that for large payments, he pays directly to the address. Let's investigate the 1 bitcoin won here:

Clicking takes you to a tx. Now we will take a look at the faucet box stats of that address (1JRWQC4vUJ7Mv2FQDr2fQu7dt786Wv9qQv)
On FaucetBox, the address checker shows no claims on any faucet. (https://archive.is/hNGxU) Very odd... But, we will give the site owner the benefit of the doubt and say he won it on his first claim, and was just very lucky. So, we will take a look at the second payment. The address is 1GsdVyTuep2dS6JAAGiSkz9btZA1FBNhDZ. Of course clicking on it takes you to a tx, with 1 bitcoin sent. Checking the address on FaucetBox.com, that user has never claimed at a faucet, so they must have also got it first try, right? Doesn't it start to seem suspicious now? FaucetBox stats archive: https://archive.is/VJx2C

I don't have time to check the other addresses, but I am certain that they follow the same pattern as the 2 we checked.
Don't waste your time here.

Archive.org link in case the faucet owner will change/remove it. (Tried to use archive.is, but the anti adblocker thing shows up)

That's exactly what I thought. I asked him before if all the cashouts go directly to faucetbox, but he decided to ignore me, like all scammers that use google translator do. Actually, we can't call this a total scam, since they pay those small claims. But he's lying about those lucky ones getting 1 BTC. It's just to keep you on his faucet believing you will get this 1 BTC someday.
14  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free1BTC.com - Best Faucet - Free 1 Bitcoin on: April 20, 2016, 06:14:07 PM
So, just tell me something... Every cashout goes straight to faucetbox, right?

Good to know... I was wondering what was gonna happen to this coin

I mean, two weeks ago it almost won the voting to enter c-cex, lost on the last minute to an apparently scam coin, and then no one talked about it anymore...

I'm new to this bitcoin / altcoins world, so I'm not sure how this takeover works but I hope it gives life to LTCR again.

I don't know about this, since I'm relatively new in this bitcoin world. I just saw its price going 6000% and googled it, and everything is dead... this thread, their twitter, their website. Maybe they had good intentions, I can't judge that, but this pump is really weird

Hey guys, what are the chances of LISK going over 100k in a short time after the release?
