Very good option as a alternative of bitcoin to make transaction , since I made also analysis that it is better to have as a option because it have high volume of trade , so easy to convert back into btc to xlm and vice versa .
But still here I am not using this option much because bitcoin's segwit wallet is better for me to make transaction to save fees .
But surely where segwit address doesn't support I tries to use xlm , eth only .

In actual there exists not a direct relationship between trusted coin and profitable coin , Because even a scam coin can give profit ( for example ATC coin , LIZA coin , BItconnect coin  and many more this list is not small but these faves much profit ) .
So don't expect that every guinuine coin will give only profit , you just need to take perfect action of the investment in perfect coin according to circumstances in perfect time and get out with profit .
In my opinion the most trusted coins are bitcoin , etherium , bitcoin forked coins , etherium forked coins , doge coin , dash coin , reddcoin , xrp ( Banking sector coin ) , steller coin , Litecoin  , digibyte coin , ETN  are most trusted coins in my view .
Since there are another my h better and more trusted coins Exists in your view , but these were most trusted in my opinion .

About 5-6 months I was also don't know about segwit wallet of bitcoin , but when a signature campaign in which the manager made a rule to use segwit address mendetory to receive payment then in that case I was restricted to use this wallet .
At that time I was thinking in negative way about campaign manager , but when I used that address for the withdrawal of btc at low fees then I found that campaign manager who restricted me to use segwit address is very right at high place and I thanked him by heart for this rule Because this wallet saved about 0.01 btc yet from the fee saving .
But here it is strange that why not people still with these types of post seen , are not going with this wallet .
In my opinion every exchange should use this wallet for the withdrawal of btc of the users Because they charge us 0.0001 btc 0.003 btc which is very costly for traders like us , so if they can implement segwit wallet in Thier exchange than in that case we can have better turn in trading in exchange for small small btc amount trading with more profit ( specially in case of arbitrage trading ) .

In my opinion both Should be important because at one side if you will not make better product than why one consumer will prefer to have by may another .
And  second Thing is if you will not tell people about your project and product then why people will get attract toward you .

Ofcourse yes , Because after ethereum neo is best coin as a option of the ICO project to buy by the investors .
As we can see that transaction fee that is needed to pay for the confirmation is increasing day by day for different different coins then surely here neo will be better option for the future .

Indirectly Bitcoin is dependent over fiat currency at some extent but not directly because here volatility due to price and economic changes in the fiat value can give change in small percentage .
But if we will analyse it fully then we will found that there in no direct relationship of Bitcoin dependency with Fiat currency .

Future of cryptocurrency is really much bright Because the main reason behind this factor is that it is available to use at international level for everyone and people also have not restrictions over the transfer of Thier own money from one part of the country to another without any type of the restriction .
So acceptance will increase more in future .

In my opinion , yes they are safe but I can't say that they are at 100% safe level because they are only exchange and if you will have  to access your account then surely you will needed to give email id and password and as we know that in the present time it is not much tedious for a hacker to access your email id and also your password by reset .
And second thing that there can be vulnerability in the programming of the exchange , and also there are even beside this many ways to inject Thier program to ACCESS the exchange , so here we can't say theya are safe .
Here I don't mean that they are fully unsafe , but here you need to remain clear in your mind that exchange are not just toys , they are improving theirself time to time with better updation by Thier team developers , a simple example we can have is yobit , since many people says that yobit is scam exchange but it was hacked by hackers once but now it is fully protected and a small activity ( about attack over the site ) they block every transaction for withdrawal .
And that why I didn't found anything bad in this thing , that we should have our altcoins at exchange , they are 99.99% safe .
But if you are willing to hold your altcoins assets for long term of one to two years then it will be better to use official wallets and take backup of your wallet for sure safety .

This is cool and interesting and here I can see that whole 5 coins market is at down and 6 numbers assets that are including ICOs are not much trustable like we have trust with the Cryptocurrency which are already available at the exchange .
Here I will say just keep yourself at stable that what you can have , because here patience can give everything that you want , here I am holding Mya ll the assets and I am facing loss of about 60%+ in the whole amount of the value that I was having at my good times of holding but now I am in big loss , but still here I am positive with the thinking that I am.not with the gambling work , here I am with the trading and trading is an unpredictable job but still it is much better then gambling because it has lots of chances even we are in the loss , that it will give profit soon .
But here I would like to choose a point where you are not right to put your money , that is , ICO .
You should not go with the ICO project investment , since you already invested then I can't say anything but for the future I will say that keep yourself away from such things because these are only just option to loss the money and at the end you will have tokens in your myetherwallet that will have no value , for example I  have kyc.legal coin which has no value and the ICO deleted his telegram account long time back , now reply by them at emails .

Yes , people like me have lots of confidence with Bitcoin future . There are many Bitcoins in my friend circle who are making earning in bulk amount and also there are many Bitcoins who are losing their money by this dump in the cryptocurrency market by 50- 60%  dump in the whole portfolio .
but still here I can see that most of them are fully positive they are saying that this is dump because there will take place a big pump in the market and that will not only result in the result of the recover of the loss that we are facing , but also they will get a better profit soon .
and also I seen that most of them are not seem that there is panic in the cryptocurrency market but they are looking to invest more and more with the dump in the market because they are saying that with the small increase in the market they will make lots of profit soon .
And this type of activity by the big Bitcoiners always gives me confidence that I should remain at definite at my Holding , because here I am not losing in big amount so here I don't need to take tension much and also I need to remain positive with my holding that is in very small amount of 10k dollar .

In my opinion Bitcoin is fully independent from any type of the another things in digital world but still here we can see that price of the Bitcoin depend upon the another factors like Fiat currency and another some demands in the international market .
so here we can see that Bitcoin is not dependent to anything but its price is dependent at many factors .

I would like to suggest you that collect always etherium at every dump Because ethereum is much better coin  and if we can have with dump then it will be a better option for us to have profit with it by hold for long term easily .
As we seen that in recent past days , price of etherium was about 160$ but now it is 200+$ per etherium , so better to have at dump .

I don't think it is at the end , we are working with that thing which is future and soon we will be in that depth where it will not be possible for the whole world to get out from this technology because these are future and we can't ignore it in any ways .

Here OP is asking for better coins to hold for long term except Bitcoin and etherium then why you are talking about Bitcoin blindly .
Well here you are not wrong also at some extent but here we needed to go with a better analysis before to go with investment for may coin , according to me better coin is xrp , posw , Ada , dgb , xvg are better for long term .
