I think people have different reasons. One simply interesting is the process of creating a crypto currency, others want to make money on this easy money, some want some power, quarters change the world and so on. Probably how many people are so many reasons =)

Crypto currency showed me that financial markets and not only are very interesting for studying, they not only can make you better and stronger, but also tell a lot about the behavior of the crowd
Personally, the choice iota and ether I really believe in these projects. About those that you wrote, I have never heard since now I do not particularly follow the crypto market
The market is a living being and it has its own development cycles. So yes sooner or later there will be growth, but the most important question to which no one will answer when?
Excellent clear division of Crypto-currency! Approximately this is how I imagined it, but never consciously shared it.
I've never liked litecoin because it does not have anything particularly new, breakthrough ... It's a usual fork bitcoin like 1000 others
You need to choose a project bounty in which you yourself would invest money, for which you see the future and believe that their ideas are feasible
I believe that if the ethereum does not do something disastrous, it will become the currency of the future definitely. There are not so many hype around it as around bitcoin
Yes it is possible. But I think that we are near the bottom, you can start buying parts. For example, now invest 10% and see what will happen in the next couple of weeks. To invest another 10% and so on
I think that iota and eth can have a great future, they are created to improve people's lives and I believe in their ideas
I think it's best to diversify the risks and allocate your investment to several projects that you like
This is possible, but I think that this should begin to grow the rest of the crypto market, at least the top altcoins
In a falling market, I try to find a point for a short, or I just wait for signs of a reversal and I go long. The truth is that it's not always possible I get some losses but it pays off with one good deal
Markets do not always repeat their movements. Sometimes the prices of altcoins moving along with bitcoin and sometimes not
The money that I invested from the beginning I understood that I could lose them at any moment, so I hodl to the end
Perhaps this is the end of all currently existing cryptocurrencies, but certainly not the technology itself ...
If I invest money in the crypto currency, I already consider them lost so I will withdraw them only in case of emergency, in a situation where there are no other options
I think the best way is to gradually invest what you are ready to lose in what you like and in what you see the potential. Another way is to learn how to trade, but it's more complicated
No, I think that this is unlikely. Lightcoin is a just bitcoin fork, which is much worse than many other forks
It seems to me that sooner or later people will stop attracting heaps of useless Altсoins. Although I think this process has already begun
