As are many here, I'm sure BitInstant showing a support presence right now is a relief.  I'm also sure my question is on the minds of many as well.

What is the ratio of flawless transactions versu transactions requiring CS intervention?  This is a question only BI Support can answer and, at this point in time, there isn't much to gain by being untruthful.  Soooooo, how about it URSAY?

I'm a believer in being truthful.

If I had the numbers I'd share but I don't know for sure.

Bitcoin moves FAST.  But I'm confident we can catch up soon.  Smiley

I'm digging your logic and thank you for taking the time.  At present, which approach to buying BTC with USD would give a customer the best odds at realizing success without a helping hand, or hip-check in some cases?

[The Federal Reserve is] no more federal government than fedex. they do not answer to anybody. they are absolutly not at all the government or elected people. please educate yourself on this.

You are absolutely, positively, spot on and I thank you for reiterating what I fail to mention as I have lost much faith in my fellow citizens.  Thank you.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why hasn't the porn industry jumped on bitcoin yet? on: April 01, 2013, 10:21:55 PM
Porn is free. The people who pay for it aren't the types to be using Bitcoin, imo.

True, but there are even bigger idiots in the US Congress who listen with all ears to the porn industry and would lay off bitcoin regulation if they thought it was interfering with another possible revenue stream.  We all know BTC purchase can be made simpler with the right heavy-hitter driving it, yes?

Porn is stronger than the masses think.  Case in point is VHS versus BetaMax as well as Blu-Ray versus HD DVD.  Who had the final say?

Absolutely.  I love it.

I have schooled myself up on the situation and I hate to think that I almost sent a God-awful pile of USD to them.  Whether it was karma, divine intervention, or the train I had to wait for, my hide was saved once again and I seem to be luckier than most people that have or had skin in the ZigGap game.

Your testimonial on the current value of ZigGap explains their all-but-shuttered internet presence since last week.

To the crux of your post, I think placing SR and BitCoin in the same paragraph will not bring about the transparency you seek in regards to those involved.  Regardless of what you and I think about SR and about BTC, it's impossible as it stands right now.  I like your intention but it's a tremendous task to say the least.  I'm not saying it's a pipe dream (pun intended), however, and I am always amazed at the intelligence and spirit that Bitcoin is bringing into the fold.

Has ZigGap closed shop?  I can't get anything from them and the @ZigGap1 twitter account has gone stale.  I tested a MoneyGram Express Bill Pay Saturday and today through a local retailer and the transaction failed with some sort of "real-time validation" error.  This does NOT bode well.

Ask me a week ago and I would have had nothing but nice things to say about bitinstant.

Here, too.  But now?  I am very disappointed.  I did a BTC to Email via cash deposit on Saturday.  So far, all of the action has been on my end.  I initiated the transaction, traveled to a retailer, and made the cash deposit.  Still, today the transaction is still listed as "New Order".

What has BitInstant done?  I got an automated email with no content other than the template that BitInstant always uses.   Woop-dee-doo.
