1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price From 0$ on: December 08, 2020, 10:49:29 PM
I liked that you wrote the milestones that Bitcoin has taken on it's path to $20,000 USD. As optimistic as most of us are on Bitcoin, there is no chance that Bitcoin will reach $50,000 USD by the end of this year. There is less than a month until 2021 begins, and $25,000 would be a better target. That being said, it is very possible that Bitcoin can reach $50,000 and possibly even $100,000 in the upcoming year, with more and more companies incorporating Bitcoin into their business.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A Message from President-Elect Donald J. Trump on: November 23, 2016, 07:07:39 PM
I hope that Trump will fulfill his campaign promises, and many of his supporters hope so as well. It is good that he is still staying on message after winning the election, but he needs to take actions, once he takes the oath of office on January 20, 2017. It is also interesting that he is appointing people to his cabinet that were strongly against him, such as Nikki Haley (Ambassador to the United Nations) and Mitt Romney (possible Secretary of State). I think it is Trump's way of uniting the party, and bringing everyone together, now that he is President.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 22, 2016, 10:32:09 PM
There are only four games on the NBA schedule today and not a single one includes teams that could make a run in the playoffs. I think the most interesting game today is the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Thunder have lost the majority of their recent games after starting the season winning six of their first seven. The Lakers are 7-7 this season, which is an improvement from last season, and have a young team with lots of talent. I think the Thunder will take this game on the road.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alex Jones and Trump on: November 21, 2016, 10:08:37 PM
Looking at Alex Jones' YouTube channel now, he does have nearly two million followers, and about 50,000-100,000 views per video on a daily basis. He does have a large following that is continuing to increase, especially after this Presidential election. I will continue to watch his videos but am not to keen on his conspiracy theories on the left, although I am sure a few have been proven correct after the Wikileaks scandal. Jones has been one of the vocal supporters to still prosecute and jail Hillary Clinton.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alex Jones and Trump on: November 20, 2016, 03:56:44 PM
I have seen many of Alex Jones' videos on his YouTube channel and have visited his website Infowars in the past, and he is definitely a unique, energetic guy. I am not a supporter of Jones but find his videos entertaining. He takes many of the controversial and conspiracy theories of the left and runs with it. If I remember correctly, he was one of the first to openly support Trump when no one thought he had a chance, and has been attacking the mainstream media for many years. I am a Republican, but mainly watch his videos for the entertainment factor.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drain The Swamp on: November 19, 2016, 10:20:48 PM
When Donald Trump was elected President in a shocking election result, it marked the end of the establishment. The American people spoke volumes when they elected the first non-Politican to the Presidency, and Trump's message of Draining the Swamp was always met with great applause from people at his rallies. Americans want a change from the usual status quo, and they have had enough of all the lobbyists and career politicans, who make promises but never deliver once they get into office. I just hope Trump will make actual change, and fulfill his campaign promises.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many bets do you we need to do in sports betting a day? on: November 19, 2016, 10:06:34 PM
It is completely up to you how many bets you need to make in a sports betting day, but if you know what you are doing and making money doing it, you should probably make as many bets as you can on what teams or player will win. If you ask a professional sports better, they would probably tell you that they take the bets that they have the biggest edges in and can make the most money. Personally, I prefer parlays, since you can make a number of bets and can win a lot for a small bet amount.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price hits $100 000 in 2017 on: November 18, 2016, 07:42:25 PM
While I do think the price of Bitcoin per US dollar will reach four digits (above $1000 per bitcoin) in 2017, to think that it will increase anything more than that in a calendar year would be a shock to many. It would be great if Bitcoin did ever reach the $100,000 per Bitcoin since I have made some Bitcoin investments, but I do not see it happening anytime soon in the foreseeable future. We have to make sure that the popularity of the cryptocurrency continues to increase, and with that the price will rise as well.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nfl plays for the week of Sunday 11/20 on: November 18, 2016, 07:38:27 PM
The two most intriguing and best-contested games of Week 11 in the NFL have to be between the Arizona Cardinals vs. the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the Seattle Seahawks. There are a lot of playoff implications in the Cardinals/Vikings game, with the Vikings trying to save their season, losing their last four games after starting the season 5-0. The second game between the Eagles/Seahawks are two playoff contenders and a possible playoff matchup in a few months. I favor the Vikings and the Eagles for the upset.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 100: Bader vs. Nogueira 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: November 18, 2016, 03:41:55 PM
Fighting in Brazil should help the Brazilian fighters, since they usually fight better at home with a partisan home crowd. I think the main event will be a better fight than most people expect, with the winner staying in title contention, while the loser dropping off into a gatekeeper status and possible retirement on the horizon. It is tough to make a prediction in this fight since both fighters are equally matched, but I think that Bader has more left in the tank than Nogueira and will win a split decision.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 99: Mousasi vs. Hall 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: November 17, 2016, 04:04:21 PM
The only fight that I am looking forward to on this card is the rematch between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall. In their first fight, Hall pulled off the upset that shocked the UFC world, spectacularly knocking out Mousasi with a spinning back kick and flying knee. Since that fight, Mousasi has won three fights in a row and is now in line for a UFC title shot, while Hall has lost two in a row since that surprise win. I predict that Mousasi will avenge the loss, winning this fight by unanimous decision.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Assange dead? on: November 17, 2016, 03:56:31 PM
It seems to be one of the great mysteries today about whether Julian Assange is dead or alive. It is no secret of Hillary Clinton's disdain to Assange and wanting him dead, since he is the man who ended her political career and caused her to lose this Presidential election with the Wikileaks scandal. It has been a month since we have heard from Assange, but according to various news stories, his lawyers are asking President-elect Trump for a pardon to end any criminal investigations regarding him and the United States.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin, PayPal or Credit Cards – What is the best way to fund an online casino? on: November 16, 2016, 04:42:34 PM
I would say that the best way to fund an online casino out of those three options is to use Bitcoin for a number of reasons. The most important reason is because of the anonymity involved with the cryptocurrency. When you make a deposit using Bitcoin, you do not have to give any personal information (such as name, address, SSN) that could possibly be stolen. That makes the options of depositing via PayPal or credit cards risky, and there could also be chargebacks involved with those two options if you are playing from a country that is not allowed.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If Trump doesn't come up trumps. on: November 16, 2016, 02:46:04 AM
If Trump does not deliver on his promises (like building the wall along the Mexican border, deporting millions of illegal immigrants in this country, create millions of jobs for American citizens, repeal and replace Obamacare), I expect his supporters to turn on him, but apart from that, nothing can be done since he will be president for the next four years. The people can then decide to elect a different president if they choose in the 2020 Presidential election. I personally think that Trump will fulfill most of his campaign promises, such as building that wall to stop illegals from entering America, but will not be able to get Mexico to pay for it.
15  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX is closing on: November 15, 2016, 07:27:16 PM
I am sad to see FaucetBOX closing, as it was one of the ways I earned Satoshi, when I used to visit different faucet sites. I would not say that faucets are completely useless, since it is a great tool for people who are starting out learning how to use Bitcoin and trying to get their first cryptocurrency. There will be other competitors similar to FaucetBOX that will take its place, as long as there is demand from faucet sites to make payments easy and securely.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 15, 2016, 03:21:00 PM
After a few fairly uneventful days of NBA action, we finally have a big NBA game tonight between the 7-2 Toronto Raptors and the 8-1 Cleveland Cavaliers. It will be a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals won by the Cavs, and there is a good chance the two teams will meet each other again deep in the playoffs this season. For this game, Cleveland is playing at home, and they have already defeated the Raptors on the road. The Cavaliers will be the favorites and should leave the game victorious.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who will be the first "democrat" to attack the clinton fundation for 2020? on: November 15, 2016, 03:02:24 PM
If you are asking which Democrats will run in four years for 2020 to challenge Donald Trump, I would not be surprised if Hillary Clinton runs one last time, if she is still healthy. She has made it her mission to get into the White House and two failed attempts won't stop her from trying again. I could also see people like Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren running, and maybe even Michelle Obama. I don't think Bernie Sanders will run again, because of the corruption in the DNC and his advanced age. He will be closing in on 80 years old, when 2020 rolls around.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 206: Cormier vs Johnson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: November 14, 2016, 06:48:21 PM
With less than a month until UFC 206, this is a good time to make predictions for the most anticipated fights on the card. I favor Daniel Cormier to beat Anthony Johnson by submission in the 4th round, setting up a rematch with Jon Jones late next year. The co-main event will be the fight of the night, and I think Anthony Pettis will defeat Max Holloway to set up a title fight with either Conor McGregor or Jose Aldo. Rounding out the card, Donald Cerrone should beat Matt Brown and Dooho Choi will KO Cub Swanson.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump said he would not take the persistent's salary on: November 14, 2016, 05:57:32 PM
President-elect Donald Trump does not need the $400,000 per year salary, and it is a smart move for him to not take it, saving money for the country. He would be the first U.S. President to not take the full salary, and it isn't surprising, considering that Trump is worth billions of dollars, and is richer than all 44 presidents before him combined. Trump has also vowed to not take any vacations, and work his hardest to Make America Great Again! We shall see if he will deliver on his promises.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: California Declaratioin of Independence on: November 13, 2016, 09:16:19 PM
California leaving the Union has little to no chance of happening. The state is one of the most liberal in the entire country, and it isn't surprising that many residents want to leave the United States after Trump was elected. While many are calling for California to secede, there is a process for it to happen, with a two-thirds approval majority needed from both the House and the Senate. If you remember, Texas also called for secession during President Obama's re-election but nothing came of it.
