If it's basically worthless then I'll just leave it. I won't upgrade it since I plan on getting a decent gaming computer, which ought to be able to do far better than the desktop and laptop combined several times over.
Cheers guys.  Cheesy

So I found out about Bitcoins yesterday and was so curious that I immediately immersed myself in it, and have begun mining on my HP Pavillion g6, which has been happily chugging away for a few hours.
I decided that I'd try and boost my mining power by using my desktop computer as well, but find that it doesn't actually mine when using any mining software, namely guiminer.

I was going to post a screenshot from guiminer, but as I can't, I'll just try and describe what's in the picture:

GUIMiner -v2012-12-03
Server: slush's pool

Device: [0-0]GeForce9200

1.0 Mhash/s

And that's it, it never goes above 1.1Mhash/s and it never mines anything. I've turned off firewalls and security software and nothing happens. What's happening and how can I make it work? It works fine on my laptop, which has the same variables as my desktop, so it doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not particularly computer savvy either, so I'm not really one to jump into code and magically fix it.
Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I can't post anywhere or find anything similar.
