I'm also running Helium hotspots, and in addition i found an intersting use case of HNT via DIMO project. It offers an OBD device to your car and use Helium Network, GPS. Since i installed it i got Data transfer not just beacons and witnesses.

maybe many people think that this ETH merger will make the gwei gas on transactions much lower as is the case with BNB which always stays at 5 gwei for transactions, this is what I expected and it didn't happen until the merger was successful a few hours ago, I was wrong the only one who believes that by merging transactions is much cheaper even though the gwei gas is not really lower than expected after the merger, but I congratulate ETH for successfully moving to the POS network, hope it can be cheaper in the future https://etherscan.io/gastrackerWho cares? More fee, more burn.

I'm a miner since 2016, but it's time to let POW go away. It was golden times, but POS is better in any way.

It is not a problem as lot of individual users has their funds on those platform.

That's what a lot of people are waiting for! People like me who can't afford a high end mining gear can safely do pool staking once ETH moves to POS. Also the current competition of hash rate will disappear which will be great for the commoners like me. But the summer has just started so hopefully it will happen in next 2-3 months. Fingers crossed! But those people who have already invested in high end hardware to mine ETH, they will have to find a new coin to mine. That will be very interesting to see which coin becomes their preferred choice after the ETH moves to POS. Possibly a great investment opportunity awaits ahead for all of us if we can stay vigilant.
staking is death for eth. it is why it is calling staking. the vampire and leach on btc will soon be dead. staking is a certain fail and can not work. Why do you think that? Pow is outdated and not sustainable. From mining perpective, yes could be the end and thats just great (becuase of the way too much greedy miners.) Usage of ETH will expand, with better scalability.

... i still find those people on ethereum and willing to throw and burn their money for stupid transactions,...
Which is actually pretty good for deflation.

Well, if you afraid, quit mining until you can

Getting 32 ETH to participate in staking isn't easy. At current market prices, not everyone will be able to become a validator to help secure the ETH blockchain. Of course, you can participate in staking with less than 32 ETH by making a deposit on a staking pool. But this involves trusting a third party, which is something crypto/Blockchain tech was meant to avoid in the first place. As far as rewards are concerned, it's yet to be determined the annual returns you'll get when staking 32 ETH. There are other coins on the market with high stake rates of 20% APR and above. Taking this into account, I'm starting to wonder: Is it worth staking ETH? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. You can "stake" ETH for 23% APY payed out daily, no lock you can take out anytime. No problems for me since 2019 https://midas.investments/assets

Guys I got an offer on a laptop with Ryzen 7 and RTX3050Ti today and the gaming was so cool and smooth, though I watched that off YouTube but I don't know the mining performance of this 3050ti anyone familiar with this mobile GPU mining capability? Pls share me hashrate
Its about 20MH in stock. 22-24 with overclock.

Basically it means that more ETH has been destroyed forever than it has been mined.
I don't think that this is anything exciting, it's just for more of an attention grabbing headline than anything else.
People are quick to jump to conclusions and hype up anything and everything imho. This is certainly a one-off event that is going to not be a very impactful event going into the future i think.
Well, its indeed exciting! Of course there is way too early for conclusions, but i hope that the st*pid miners now see the point of previous forks.

We opposed 1559 and there were a lot of accusations about greedy miners who want to keep gas high.
No one really listened when we mentioned that 1559 may increase gas.
You dont get the point... 1559 is about to make fees more predictable and for burning ETH not to decrease gas directly.

I think Ethereum is now a complete joke, I thought the London fork solve high gas fee but I was surprised that the lowest gas fee today is a bit over 5$ on etherscan @ 3200$ per ETH? You are a completele joke becuase you do not educate yourself but "talking" nonsense.

It's known that non lhr 3060ti, 3070 and 3080 are and have been going to big farms with contracts with gpu manufactures and lhr gpus are going to newegg, microcenter and so on, do not expect to find non lhr on retail or online shops.
I got a gigabyte rtx3060 ti two days ago locally and guess what? It's non LHR mining at full 61MH per second on hiveOS as we speak so I'm confused when you said all non LHR cards are going to some bigger farm leaving small farm owners Can you share exact product nubmer? thanks!

This fork was such a stupid idea that just made fees more than before, and it will not solve any problem on Ethereum. But the bigger problem is that with the POS, which is a blockchain variant of banking deposits, ethereum will get more centralized and declared as a security in USA. And this means more regulations and even bans like the ICOs.
Can ETH get more centralized then it is now? Sure it can with switching to POS. So you mean that fork was not a good idea ? Wouldn't they knew before what will be the impact on fee after this fork ? I think over the passage of time, burning of eth on every tanscation will make it a scare asset and it will eventually increase in demand. I would like to see if there is good signafinant impact on fee after few days of the fork. Fee is already normal, but London fork is not about to lower fees, its about to make it predictable by make it automatic instead of manual/user bidding (which maybe will lower fees in a certain cenarios, time will tell) Besides of that transaction fees are burning which is indeed a good thing in long run.

Everything is done. ETH's London upgrade just took place - including EIP-1559. The Ethereum blockchain may split into two chains, resulting in the creation of two ETH tokens. All of Ethereum's community members deserve congratulations. It's exciting! What will happen now? Since the ETH gas fee is ridiculously high, how is this supposed to solve anything? The block reward remains 2eth, nothing is reduced. Which is ridiculous of course. thats nuts... This is what suppose to happen. No more 2++ block rewards.

Let us not forget him. Let us not forget the injustice done. Let us not forget, above all, the love of freedom! https://freeross.org/Ross Ulbricht is a criminal. His crimes are proven and well known. Why should we help him? What do you mean by "injustice done"?Do you think that he should have been sentenced for a few years, instead of a double life sentence?Do you think that crimes like "money laundering, computer hacking, conspiracy to traffic fraudulent identity documents, and conspiracy to traffic narcotics by means of the internet" deserve a different verdict? If yes,can you explain your thesis? I don't understand the point of your post and I don't trust the website link, that you have posted. Nice words from a nice Mixer website promoter His punishment is unreal, especially by a government which currency (USD) funds most of illegal activities worldwide.
