No question is stupid. We all have to start somewhere and the Alt coin ecosystem IS complicated for new comers.
You wont be able to mine in the way you can directly mine it now. You will be able to gain Trump rewards by mining via Etherium
but in all honesty thats kind of to complex for you to get in to now.

May I suggest you buy a couple fo hundred from YOBIT, keep them in your wallet and see what happens. Im not trying to do a sell
here but its a good start to see what can happen. From those 200 if you stake them (ie keep your wallet running) you can earn
free Trumps. You wont earn much with only 200, but like I say its a good start for learning and of course they could go up in value.
