This is much bigger and more wide ranging. Itīll be extremely difficult to defraud this off the table. Millions of documents. Itīs bribes, tax evasion, criminality.

I think someone said this exact same thing back there.

CIA and George Soros have their hand in this for sure. Wouldnīt be surprised if they already have tons more  which theyīll leak gradually.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world Economy Collapse this year? on: April 13, 2016, 12:29:25 AM
Iīve heard about those ghost cities but didnīt realize that it could be this massive..25% of housing empty? That is truly staggering. How about the financing? Is that through some ghost banks? I canīt imagine that itīll end well. The regime will do anything to stay in power, especially in the interests of the self-preservation of the party bosses.  Itīs going to be very interesting next couple of years.

The only geometric solid which looks like a circle from any direction is a sphere. The Earth always looks like a circle from space. Ergo, the Earth is a sphere.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world Economy Collapse this year? on: April 12, 2016, 11:06:12 PM
The economy is a collection of segmented markets. Some 'segments' within this collection may collapse, but will always build themselves back up again. The economy is a self cleansing and self healing mechanism.

Barring certain currencies, there has never been an instance in human history of a financial market that has crashed and then disappeared entirely. The tech market plunged in the early 2000's but rebounded... Between 1930 and 1970, gold lost a TREMENDOUS amount of value... but that market has also recovered.

The "world economy" is never going to "collapse" simply because there isn't a world economy... Just a collection of segmented markets that are designed to go through cycles
dont you think that some countries like the US for example are in big trouble compared to countries like the Uk and China?

China is in way more serious trouble than the US. It's estimated up 25% of housing is uninhabited, there are ghost cities that were built and nobody moved there. China is spending to try and pump the economy up, but they're spending without economic need, which is a recipe for disaster. Things are already starting to crumble, so they've starting massively interfering in the stock market by pumping stocks and arresting short sellers. These are the actions of a desperate country on the verge of major economic collapse.

Think theyīre heading for the fate of Japan in 1989 when the stock and real estate markets crashed? Their stock market is still down 60% from that top. It has been lurching from one recession to the next and government debt is gigantic.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: European Banks Crash For 4th Straight Week on: April 12, 2016, 11:01:19 PM
The main point is the divergence since 1987. Before that there was a pretty good correlation.

Yeah but my point is it only looks like a correlation and a divergence because the y-axis is in log. The chart is manipulated to make it look so instead of actually being so.

One axis moves by 3000% the other by what 10%. I think it catches the divergence.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH being dumped now! on: April 12, 2016, 10:56:31 PM
I think you buy it when it finds some meaningful support. It doesnīt have much of that yet it seems. Maybe itīll be at 5 dollars or so, time will tell.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 12, 2016, 10:21:53 PM
It used to be that to hate meant intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury, ie. it implied personal experience and with some entity. Nowadays people hate everything, they hate their hair, the boil on their ass, pretty much everything that doesnīt conform to their norms that they have from somewhere. It seems a heavily diluted concept, itīs almost meaningless by now.

What is hate in 2016 for you?

I havenīt really been harmed or abused or injured by anybody for ages now so I donīt have any reason to hate anybody. I donīt like some people and avoid their company if I can but I donīt hate them. And Iīve absolutely no reason to hate people Iīve never met, nor abstractions or ideas.

It will keep giving. It must take ages and tons of manpower to wade through millions of emails and other documents. The bombs will go off all year. And who knows, maybe thereīll be more leaks from other tax haven offices.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Donald Trump A Racist or a Bigot? (uncensored) on: April 12, 2016, 09:45:51 PM
I'll entertain this notion of him being hypothetically racist or bigoted, despite any real evidence that that end, if you'll entertain the following question:

In what way would being a racist or a bigot disqualify him from the presidency, or even betray some underlying mental/ethical incompetence that would lessen his ability to lead?

It's a necessary prerequisite for anyone who attains such status, regardless of their character, that they have a penchant for objective truth. Show me one great American president, and I'll show you a racist. Even the biggest champions of the neo-liberal causes are either avowed racists, such as LBJ -- or are more subtlety racist, as is the case with most modern "liberals". Racism, in its current definition, is an emergent property of anyone sufficiently cognizant of the human condition. To recognize that human races have differences, and that those differences contribute to their relative abilities, is nothing more than to recognize objective truth.

I gather that the point of your posting this thread was to highlight traits you find objectionable in Trump, with the expectation that others would object to them as well, and the ultimate goal of shifting their consensus to be more in line with your own. To that I ask, where is your moral outrage when liberals infantilize and belittle minorities? Is it not the pinnacle of overt racism to treat blacks and Hispanics as inherently less-able, and in need of special governmental assistance? Was it not racist to incentivize the dissolution of black families, through neoliberal welfare programs that mandated the father not be present in the home? Is is racist to promote the systematic abortion of black babies, to such a degree that currently more are being aborted than born? Is it racist to promote the influx of illegal immigrants, with the clear understanding that their labor directly undercuts the earning potential of minority communities in the United States, with the direct causal result being greater poverty, crime and moral decay? Is it not racist to do all these things under the guise of being a savior figure to the mentally deficient lackeys, just to secure their fealty at the ballot box?

There are two basic methods by which humans obtain knowledge, objective truth and consensus. Objective truth has been the bedrock of western civilization since the days of Hermes, and it could be argued that its preeminence in western philosophy, heretofore being held as thoroughly unimpeachable, has directly resulted in nearly every facet and conveyance that modern society relies upon. The ultimate aim of modern liberalism is the destruction of objective truth, in favor of consensus -- for the mere fact that consensus can be controlled and manipulated. Nothing in their ethos is rooted in true fairness or equality, and they have no legitimate heritage with enlightenment ideals -- they only want to consolidate power. Regardless of whatever public face they may wear, the philosophical lineage of the neoliberal politician is that of their communist ideologues. I suggest you give that postulation some serious thought before you lend your proverbial sword to their cause.

I'm admittedly a racist, and a sexist; but I'm also a moralist, and none of those attributes are in conflict with one another. Neither racism or sexism should imply malice -- that's a modern contrivance and a media narrative that has no objective merit, and is used far more often to stifle free thought, than it is to highlight injustice.

Great post. I donīt fully agree with it, which is fine. Iīm too much in agreement to bother bickering.

What I find totally amazing is how this is allowed to fester for decades. The death and destruction is obviously horrendous. What exactly is the purpose of the United Nations? Is it really good for anything as regards peace in the world?

When you desperately beg refugees to come to you, theyīll quickly get the message I guess.
