You can check up here.

This is out BTC jam address.  This is where funding will be send and paid back from..... and I will sign a message...Just for you VOD
LOL. You have been sending money back and fourth to/from NitrogeanSports. You are either gambling with your revenue or you are moving BTC back and fourth to make it look like you are receiving more BTC then you really are.

According to your above post, your website is http://www.scottishsecurity.net/ and that website claims to do the same kind of work that you are claiming to do.

With that being said, why exactly do you have a website advertising your services that does not give visitors a way to contact you? Also why is there is YouTube music video on a website of a security company?

I do use Nitrogen yes. But thats personal funds only and I like to move money all in then all out. As I never really know how much Ill put down.

The video on the website is the offsec security video.. hence we have offsec OSEE, OSWP, and OSEE certified staff members we though the catchy video and music was rather fitting to our services. You should have a full watch..

The listing is now offline. Have no issue contacting our bank for the loan.. We don't think being dragged under a bus like this online will do our name any good so we closed out and move on.. Its a shame crypto has such a bad reputation these days for scam's and genuine projects trying to get off the ground and build reputation have such a hard time.

Thanks

Posting on a listing that its a fake company is slander..

No, it's not.  You clearly know nothing about the law.

Are you really A+ certified, Network+ Certified, Security+ Certified, Microsoft Certified and an Ethical Hacker, like your one page says?   Roll Eyes

Yes it is.. And you clearly know nothing about law either.

I have just got off the phone to my legal council over at http://www.beltramiandcompany.co.uk
A highly respected law firm here in Scotland.

They have advised me that liable is a course of action that could be raised as.

you must prove the written statement was:

    a.False  (Done)
b.Harmed your reputation, and thereby your business    (Harming reputation to obtain funding)
c.Published to at least one other person (it's online 1000's of eyes will see this)
d.About you specifically (well its not aimed at Donald trump is it)

Slander Does Not Need Actual Harm

You don't have to prove actual harm to your reputation to collect damages for slander if someone says something untrue about you that:

  a.  Affects your business, trade or profession  (Done)
  b.  Implies you committed a crime (you are implying we are attempting fraud)

So from our point of view and that of our legal council legal action is highly possible.

And before you say "its Sunday how did u speak to your legal team" I have a direct mobile number for them.

Just covering all basis...

That would be covering all bases, Mr. Pretend Lawyer.   Roll Eyes

I'm glad your real lawyer knew the difference between SLANDER and LIBEL.   I'm glad you have the money to pay weekend rates on your "highly respected (aka expensive) law firm" while still looking for a loan for another "server".

I think we've proven beyond a reasonable doubt an investment with you is a risk.  Nothing more can be accomplished here.

Legal advice cost nothing.. Especially when we are good clients and have pointed many customers in there direction over the past few years.
This is the legal firm that draws up our contracts for out clients. So they make good money from us every few weeks so I doubt they are going to send me a bill for a 15 min conversation on the telephone.

This is what I am talking about.. You are attempting to discredit me with no proof.  We were planning on going to the bank for the loan or take the equipment out on HP but we thought we would stick to the BTC community because we believe in it and want to support it..

Why should we support the banks who have wiped millions off the pension pots of there workers in the last 5 years..
Why should we support the banks when they have lost millions of customers money (investing or not)
Why should we support the banks whey they had to use OUR tax payer money to bail them out!

This is another reason we love crypto and want to support it.

I now understand from speaking with BTC jam that they do have a serious issue with there platform and I am awaiting there response to my email about how they are planning to fix this issue and make the platform more trusting.

But you can't just tar everyone with the same brush because you have had a bad experience in the past..

Thanks

Accusing a company of being a scam or fake when they quite clearly are a legit company trading is not free speech it is a form of slander.
No, you are wrong. Anyone is able to express their opinion of your business. (also it is not clear that  your company is "legit", in fact this is far from true).

In order for something to be slander (or libel), it will need to be presented as a fact, not as an opinion. In other words, someone would need to say that your business is a scam, verses someone saying that they think your business is a scam. The statement that is presented as a fact will also need to be untrue.

As a general rule, people on these forums are not able to get a loan without collateral if they do not have existing substantial reputation. Your trust profile does not reflect any existing reputation and as a result I don't think you will be able to get your loan, in fact I am surprised that you were able to get the funding that you have received so far. It is also not uncommon for users to be labeled as a scammer if they ask for a no collateral loan without existing reputation.

Vod has given you numerous opportunities to legitimize your loan request by asking for evidence of the need for your loan, however you have evaded very question that he has presented to you. His questions (so far) do not even begin to break the surface as to what a smart lender would ask a potential borrower in your situation. Do you think a bank would just give you a loan with no questions asked after they verify your identity?

edit:
Code:
h[url=http://ttps://btcjam.com/listings/62949-infrastructure-upgrade-]ttps://btcjam.com/listings/62949-infrastructure-upgrade-[/url]
The above is the BB code for the link to your loan listing that you included in your OP. What kind of security company cannot even get a URL right Cheesy

Hi quicksilver!

And thanks for pointing that out but Ill stick with my legal team's view on the situation over someone "expressing" there view on the subject.

I have made it clear that we require to buy some new comms equipment and further storage for our company.

Here is a breakdown of what we are looking to buy.

Dell SonicWALL NSA 250M - Price  £980 + Inc Vat + Inc Shipping.. (For our office)
Dell PowerEdge T20 - Xeon E3-1225V3 3.2 GHz - Price  £432.90 Inc Vat + £4.99 Delivery
HP MSM460 - Price £390 Inc Vat + £1.99 Delivery (for out back office)

Total -  £1809.88 GBP

You will see have applied for BTC4.9867  = 2,374 GBP (as of 10.54AM 26.06.16)

BTC jam will take there fee from this and we will have to pay our exchange there fee to convert to fiat.

So we should be left with just around the £2000 GBP mark.. Not $4000 USD as posted by VOD..

I wish we were in USA and were dealing in USA after brexit things are looking rockey with the GBP at the moment.

You say he has give me numerous opportunities to legitimize the loan? Do you care to point these out to me? I posted out SC company number that can be checked, I also have answered every question put to me in detail..  He never once asked what we were planning on buying? If he did please correct me..

There are no question that he has put to me that I have not given a indepth answer to..

It's no issue.. I am not really too keen on this forum now after the hostile attitude presented by some here. and after looking at his previous comments it seems he has a serious attitude issue with "new" members here... I also can see that every time there is a new member here posting something they also face the same kind of accusations.

Since I've been here I have outed a good number of scammers.. as evidenced here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456217.msg14721543#msg14721543

It seems that people just see Jr member and assume the worst, and I can understand that having spent some time here and seen the scams unfold and people lose money time and time again..

If people spoke to us in a respectable manner and asked questions without poking or leaving snide comments then I have no issue with talking to anyone about my business. but when people right out the bat are hostile and quite horrible towards us then why should we take the time to speak to you when its clear 1. you are not going to invest and 2. had no intention of doing so.. and 3. Trying to troll the topic..

Thanks guys,

Scottish Security

25k in BTC received is easy. Send all your BTC to an exchange, send it back, and repeat. Before you know it, you will have millions of bitcoin received! Also, if you use gmail for your personal stuff, then why is it a business name? Doesn't make sense.

Select the desired options and certification(s) you wish to include and provide the recipient email address. See the Create a Transcript page for full details.
Also, PM me your Transcript ID and access code for your microsoft certification so I can verify that your certificates are legit. Not sure how you do the ethical hacker verification though.

All the certifiaction on the site are held by members of staff here at the company. Some are offsec some TIA some microsoft. I do not have access to there personal login's for TIA but I will on monday morning make them aware that there has been a request for a transcript of there accounts and take it from there.

Ethical hacker certifiaction can be done here https://aspen.eccouncil.org/verify.aspx

And on monday I can submit you the relevent info to check this once I have spoken with the staff members who hold the qualification..

Even if the IDs are provided, I'm not going to track you down, and hire a lawyer to sue you, so I get my funds back. It's just not worth the time, money and effort, which is why most defaulters get away. There is this guy with over 70BTC+ defaulted total, and his pictures/id are online. He hasn't been sued yet. Also, your remark about how free speech might affect your funding is pretty low. Do politicians have the right to jail people that speak against them, so they will get into office again? Nope. There isn't a lot people can do once you default. Also, why are you using gmail? You would think a company that cares about encryption and security wouldn't use a service that can easily see all your emails, without letting you know. You have a domain.

I use gmail for my personal stuff. For our business we use our own private email server. Like I have explained in my previous post.

I think you are mistaken.. I was talking about the fake accustation being posted.  Accusing a company of being a scam or fake when they quite clearly are a legit company trading is not free speech it is a form of slander.

n. oral deformation, in which someone tells one or more persons an untruth about another, which untruth will harm the reputation of the person or company defamed. Slander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis for a lawsuit.

Having a opinion about a service is one thing.. Posting on a listing that its a fake company is slander..

To be honest I am not here to fight or get into a massive heated debate about what people think about me or my company.

I have asked BTC jam to confirm the position on defaults as I was unaware there is little recourse for people who are left with nothing after a investment and if that is the case its very low of btcjam not to have something in place to sort this out.. Please see e-mail correspondence.

While I understand now there is some serious issues with people trusting BTC jam I see no reason for a personal attack or just bashing me just for a response.
Further to this Vod posted something that I issued a reply to then he removed it.. Fair? i think not..

Like I said.. i am happy to speak with anyone be it email or on the phone about investment and rest assured we are fully verified and have a growing company that could be held liable if anything was to go wrong.

While we were looking to keep in the bitcoin community and build some trust up and use BTC jam instead of the "horrible" highstreet bank. after seeing the reaction here I think next time we will stick to the high street bank where we don't need to try defend out standing and they can "verify" us without having to post everything about ourselves in the public domain.

We have posted our domain also.. I think you have skipped thru this topic and posted the same questions that have already been answered.

Thanks again..

LOL

I think you've done it nicely yourself.  Smiley  You've certainly proved you are anything but professional.

Doesn't matter if you prove who you are - nothing will force you to repay this "loan".  BTCJam is full of scammers with known identity.

Consider anything invested here as a donation.

I have spoken on multiple acasions with there staff.
No one likes scammers, We have lost BTC on investments on BTC jam on multiple times so we know how it feels.

Why does someone need to upgrade infrastructure in the era of the "cloud"?  Just purchase what you need, as you need it.  Look into virtualization.

Again. Virtualization is not something we would be interested in. Or cloud for that matter.

I think you are under the assumption we are providing hosting.. this is not the case... We offer seucre backups for things like customers records / sales info / customer data, and secure communications platform.

Here is what we are running as out back end.. its not pointing at the internet its a internal intranet!
This is where you are wrong. You are thinking we are hosting when infact its our internal intranet we are working on

Costa Rica is the place to have your site. they have a very "easy" attitude towards online gambling licence and its very easy to obtain!

But you must have a premisis there bricks and mortar. Thats the only downfall.

Anything to add to this vod?

I think you will find we all have a threshold of what we can take before we "snap" I have answered all your question fully and you have poked and poked at me.. You even removed your last post before I could reply....

Anyone INVESTING with us will see there return.. Like our last loan it was paid off 5 weeks early!

And i think your are wrong.. BTCjam do give investors peoples info if you default..

I'm sure if you look there is a topic here where people have posted the info of people who default and DOX them..

Really its down to trust.. Do you trust we will payback the loan in the time we have specified. If not then that is your choice.. we are not pushing people to invest with us its 100% free choice. that people should make on there own merits and after doing there own research into who we are..

Thanks vod..

Backend... Not for a general website.. We control our own servers with customer info.. like I said already.. But we host our website on a big name host so its separated from out own network.. Its not hard to understand for someone as "intelligent" as yourself you must be able to see why we do this?

Once the loan is filled and paid back I will be returning to "rub" your face in it..

I have tried to keep a professional head on but you are reading between the lines and generally just talking absolute rubbish..

Please note we are also big investors on btcjam and we are well aware of whats going on there with fake profile and people defaulting on loans..
But don't tar everyone with the same brush without a smidge of proof on your side..

At the moment your are doing nothing but blowing smoke, speculating with no thread of proof.. and we challange you to back up with your saying with some proof..

Another point.  If this was a scam. why would I be here when its over 60% funded?

Thanks again..

It's quite typical for scammers to try and turn the table and call this forum a scam.

All you have to do to prove you are legitimate is provide a domain name or IP address of a public facing website so we can verify you host your own servers.  Don't you have a domain name?  Or do your customers somehow find you and email you at a gmail address?

Keep your scam on BTCJamTM

I never called the forum a scam, I said it was a typical response on this forum for any service or post. As I am sure you are well aware.

We do have a domain name.  www.scottishsecurity.net  but it's not hosted on our own servers and its just a general website.
we felt it best to leave our domain on a big hosting company not on our on network for security reason.

1. Being websites are the first attack vector for most hackers. So we decided we would keep the website off our own network. this stops people poking about attempting to gain access to our backend..

2. Treat our website like cold storage.  We keep nothing there. so there is nothing for a hacker / attacker to gain from poking at it. If we hosted it on our own network then that would be a different story. its called split database architecture.  and its in place to prevent hackers getting access to our networks.

3. that gmail address is my personal gmail address. We do not use Gmail for our customers, Each customer is given a email address to contact us on that is not publicly available. again this is to stop people sending us nasty virus's, we deal with cybercrime and hacking attacks on a daily basis so we also take our own personal security very seriously.

Thanks

Yep - good time to go offline while you think of your next excuse.

1. There is a server. Did you not look above at the screen shot of the server? It quite clearley shows our Cpanel for our customers.

2. We do not have public servcies so we do not have a public IP We are contracted by company's to undertake work for them.. There is no public service and our server is a secure backup server so there is no chance in hell we would post a IP address linked to secure storeage for our customers.

3. I do not accept your claim that we can upgrade for less money.. We do not "sub" out any of our work to any other company we own INHOUSE servers to host all our data. virtualization is also not something that we would be interested in.. and we can't add space we must upgrade!

4. we working in GBP as we are a UK company.. so its more like £2000 once we exchange.

5. You say you are intelligent from where I stand you seem to be more of troll. just spouting out random crap to try bash us down and stop people investing..
I don't plan on defaulting on my payments we have a structured repayment plan in place to cover our loan. We were going to take a loan from the bank but we decided to stick with BTCjam and we believe in crypto and want to support it rather that support the banks

6. We thought bringing our listing here would be a good idea but after some reflection we now realise that the forum is plagued with this kind of negative and quite horrible responses by people. We are fully verified with my ID and bank accounts and address. You are more than welcome to speak to me on the phone I can supply you with my contact info if you have any concerns..

7. please note we also paid off our last loan before time. which should count for something.

18  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam listing loan ( Fully Verified ) ( Early Repayments ) on: June 25, 2016, 01:18:10 PM

I won't be posting any IP address that is outside our opertational remit. It would also be very poor practice for us to post such info on a public forum to someone we know nothing about..

19  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam listing loan ( Fully Verified ) ( Early Repayments ) on: June 25, 2016, 01:09:00 PM
Why does someone need to upgrade infrastructure in the era of the "cloud"?  Just purchase what you need, as you need it.  Look into virtualization.

We offer our customers a secure backend for there services,

We need to buy a new server for our data room and some additional coms equipment for our staff.
We would never offer customers cloud services that are not under our 100% control.

I would have to say we are buying what we need when we need it and virtualization is not always suitable for every business

Thanks for looking thought and the feedback.

Scottish Security

What is your hosting URL so we can verify you do your own hosting?

We do not host websites..
Our main operations are secure/encrypted coms and secure encrypted backups for our customers.
We also offer monitored cctv and alarms and key holding.

We do not host sites for customers at the moment we offer them a way to secure there backend data and records with us.
The server we are looking at buying will increase our capacity and ability to hold more data for our customers.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 25, 2016, 01:04:19 PM
While the price is high it could be hard to make 1btc. but there are many methods out there faucets. sig campaings, many ways to make BTC,
You could also advertise things for sale for BTC but be prepaired to use escrow if you do its the only way people would accept it.

That's true it is really hard to earn 1 btc if the price is really high. But with the faucets, I don't think if you are not a newbie anymore that isn't a good way
to earn 1 btc for a year. Because many years you need for you to be able to earn 1 btc with faucets.

True but its a good place to build satoshi and build towards a bigger balance.
Epay was good not sure if its still going but it had a good amount of faucets available and payouts.

You could also try small gain investment in places like BTCjam, We use them for loans for our business and we have also invested in many user's there and made some good returns but we also have had some bad losses there also.
