After posting here the other day i thought.. It depends on if your busy working a job.. then your hands are tied and you are stuck.
In other news i tried out my Tire i mentioned earlier i spent days re-conditoning / fixing up. It worked flawless.. it's great ! My room-mate thought i bought a brand new one.. i should have done a before & after picture though. I might take a picture of the wheel and my bike on a new topic though. Maybe ask you all to post a picture of your Bike.
Funny i have 1 room-mate who in the last month or two bought a new huge MotorHome ..and new Van (exact same one and color as he already had that was not even old yet) He is not into riding a Bike LOL
Feel free to post pics of your bike on this thread and or if you start a thread on it share the link on here to it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Like to see other peoples projects and stuff. Glad to see most are keeping busy, spent all day on my carb adaptor today, finally time to chill!

Well.. in all seriousness
I installed my rebuilt Mountain Bike wheel i had been working on for days.
I found one on the road basically that was super mega dirty but i could tell it was an excellent replacement for my existing one.. i just had to clean it up and tune it etc.
I like supporting the environment and recycling etc and saving stuff from the landfills. My mountain bike was thrown away by my old landlord who put it by their garbage in the drive way. I asked them if they were chucking it and can i have it.. they said yes and i cleaned it up.
But my rear wheel was getting a bit ratty / worn out. I had an issue with the hub bearings always getting too tight or way too loose.
So the new dirty wheel i could tell would not have this problem. When i picked it up my hands got black from grime and the wheel did not even turn it was so dirty ! Now ? It's installed and 99% brand new. I have a huge pile of tools and cleaners etc. I used Brasso Metal Cleaner, Degreaser and even CLR rust removal and then the proper Lubes. Thick packing grease for the inner cageless bearings and standard motor oil for the fly wheel. I also tuned out a massive warp int he rim by adjusting the spokes tension.
So yeah that is what i did today.. assembly and last minute touch up cleaning. Summer is here and i am big on riding my Bike around town. And i have gotten a LOT of compliments on my bike too.. it looks really nice ! If i showed you all a picture of it you wouldn't believe the guy threw it in the garbage.
I am all about completing tasks.. It's easy to just do nothing so i try and set some minimum daily goals. Then if you at least do a little daily you are making progress.. And then feel some sense of accomplishment because you are working on things in your life. Don't bite off more than you can chew then build on the good feeling after effect you get when your tasks are done. For example.. Sometimes i feel like i don't want to go out and ride the bike.. But i know once i get out & get going it will be way better than i thought & enjoyable etc. So get motivated but not TOO motivated LOL A little bit of work daily adds up in time to large accomplishments in time.
I like that kinda attitude, my welder is made from three old microwave transformers re wound for low voltage high current. Works quite well and cost nothing at all!

Today amongst other things I've been carving out a wax pattern for an honda gcv 135. It will be an inlet manifold which will turn the carb 90 degrees to allow it to be run on its side. I intend to build an rc car with it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) .
