2  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening again. Bitcoin price went under $7,000 on: April 05, 2018, 04:37:39 PM
Whales will be satisfied with 4.000 USD, and then - boooooooom!

I do not think so. The bottom is around $6000. I will buy a lot when the price reaches there. I might sell my other stocks to buy into bitcon or bitcoin cash or even Eth.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Battle between bitcoin and bitcoin cash on: November 21, 2017, 05:47:02 PM
No matter what happens. Bitcoin or bitcoin, bit cash may be a good supplement. But it can't take over bitcoin. Because the identity of bitcoin and bitcoin cash is quite different, whether it's miners or investors

That is right. People will use the Bitcoin to store wealth and Bitcoin Cash for daily transaction. I own both.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeepOnion price on: October 12, 2017, 03:30:52 PM
deep onion will get dumped every time it tries to grow
and it will never be added to bittrex, it can never pass their tests . . .

Is there a plan to be added there?

This post is worth reading if you have any doubt that bcc is a fraud.

I think there is little difference between BCC and other altcoin. So it is just a new coin with many existing users. So it is not a fraud.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: June 20, 2017, 05:40:31 PM
Ethereum, Blackcoin, and Solarcoin

Ethereum is the best
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: May 11, 2017, 04:49:45 PM
The altcoins that I am currently

it is really a great coin.

Is that under active development?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIP Bitcoin, better luck next time on: March 25, 2017, 07:37:11 AM
So Satoshi Bitcoin will split to Chinese Bitcoin and Donald Trump Bitcoin.

If only core developers were capable/motivated/competent to find a solution to increase block size so that people can continue using bitcoin without paying ridiculous fees and insane confirmation time.
Anyways, if there is a split then BTC will not survive as BU needs 70% miner support and if there is 70% support, even less than 50% of those miners can do a 51% attack on BTC, so BTC will need to change their POW as they are planning now, at that point BTC will no longer be BTC but just another altcoin, and a technically inferior coin to many other altcoins.

So why wait for everything to fall apart when the only option is to choose an altcoin and start using it.

If the Core changes the PoW and the cost of mining one bitcoin is just $50, then the price of bitcoin will crash.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: March 02, 2017, 10:54:07 AM
Bitcoin will die. Same with any other currency, if there's no one using it, there's no reason for it to exist.

With no one spending Bitcoins, there wouldn't be any transaction volume. With the no one trading on the market, Bitcoins will be worthless.

I do not think so. The bitcoin will evolve.
10  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-23] Bitcoin Price Surpasses 2013 All Time High on: February 24, 2017, 08:44:10 AM
Throughout bitcoin forums and social media sites, bitcoiners have been celebrating the price rise. Surpassing the 2013 rise is quite a milestone and this 2017’s run up has been entirely different from years prior.

That is a good start for 2017.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: January 05, 2017, 01:25:24 PM
Like other asset, we need to spend/use the btc. Otherwise BTC will start to loose popularity. In short term, holding BTC will make BTC more expensive. There will be a good demand and some people among us will buy BTC at very high price. But if we stop to spend BTC in very long term, many people will turn their face away from btc. But I think, this is not going to happen. There will always be a user of btc either a buyer or a seller.

That is why I encourge my friends to use the bitcoin.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 0% Fee Claymore Miner Bundle! on: December 22, 2016, 05:41:21 PM
I just don't get it, people can download his mod and try it.. they did not notice that all it does is restart ?
He is PM forum members says he cracked Claymore miner and has a no fee mod that turns of fee and when you don't reply he keeps lowering price, I paid 0.1 bitcoin for xmas special which after paying he tried increasing cost to 0.3 but others have posted paying 1.5 bitcoin for software that does nothing, I opened a threat at zcash forum to warn others mine does not even restart miner but stops miner completely it's likely Claymore is on to him with latest release and blocked his hack and he's still selling anyway saying it's working with latest release

That is not a good practice.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: December 14, 2016, 05:56:31 PM
Maybe Zcash.

Share your ideas here.   Grin

In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down.

Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much.

Quote
That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.

Check it out here

Its value will remain still as people don't use it. Because the rate of bitcoin depends on its users and miners. The same as, if no one uses it, the nothing will happen

I have thought about that too. But with the recent clarifition to those who are quoting here it could end up at a high price due to demands. But in the long run it might also make a mess. If those people who want to have bitcoin cant get some then they might end up in other coins which is a lost for bitcoin community.

The price could go even higher when more people use it. It seems the price is limited by the number of transactions.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 XMR = 0.1 BTC on: October 26, 2016, 05:06:45 PM
The price is currently getting dumped hard as that only happened what everyone was afraid of...
What everyone talked when people started buying hard was, even Darknet people need Bitcoins for which they would surely dump their XMR on it...

The price of the Monero rose 10 folds in the last 6 months. So there is no surprise if it drops to 50% of current value.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 23, 2016, 04:29:42 PM
There will be no chance in not using the bitcoins. Though all hold the btc when the price goes low, one or the other day the price come up again. This has become its nature. Compared to those days, the price has become more high now though it goes bit low. So there is no chance for its disappearance. Lets continue to support its existence.

that is true. It is better to use the bitcoin now and in the future as a currency. That will increase the value.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 30, 2016, 06:02:00 PM
Yes i will accept bitcoin as my salary .

It is better not to accept 100% of the salary into bitcoin. Just about 20% of the salary in the form of bitcoin.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: September 17, 2016, 06:17:20 PM
Well people will continue to buy something what they want to buy. But I was wondering why no one spends bitcoin? there must be a valid reason before that happen?

The valid reason behind holding bitcoins is simple, to just grow their value with the time as bitcoin is a currency that grows its value with the time so if someone does not spend his coins his purpose would simply be to have more in coming time.

But if everyone will keep on holding their coins without spending it then it will never contribute to its higher price in bitcoin and it will make bitcoin a weaker currency, so for better future of bitcoin we should spend them.

What you said is correct, until their is no spending of bitcoins we cannot reap the benefits of it and the price will be stable and then automatically the interest on bitcoin investment will go off by most of the users. Trading of bitcoin will make the coins worth more and we can see the price increase only by that way.

That is right. There are many altcoins which are used by nobody. The price is near zero. The more usage, the higher the price.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: September 06, 2016, 07:44:42 AM
The flow of a currency is crucial to its existence. If no one would spend bitcoin, it would not take long until its eventual death.
most of the transactions right now are related to buying and selling btc. if btc was on the brink of death people would start selling there btc and this would increase transactions.
but also this might create a run and price collapse.

That is right. And most of the tranactions are very small amount. I think the gambling is a large proportion of the transactions.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: August 24, 2016, 12:38:31 PM
I agree with you. In an event of no one spending, any Bitcoin the price would stay stable for a long time. Mining would die off as there are no transactions to verify and the blockchain would freeze. Basically, everything would freeze until everyone begins to spend BTC again.

 Smiley
mining would never die in my opinion, then the difficulty would drop a lot and people would mine more coins and sell for cheaper prices, mining would still be around

That is right. The mining will only disappear if the bitcoin is dead completely. That happens to many coins already.
