I have some mixed feelings about this one;
There's a few things:

Project related:

- Although the idea is good, the setup is terrible.
- Last giveaway had (as far as i know) 1 entry, and my honest thoughts are that it was probably someone involved with ganjaman ( Associate, friend etc ).
- There'd be no real way to prove, so if things like this keep being the giveaways then he could be stealing the funds generated from selling masternodes by 'pretending' to give it away.
- The choice of world issue that got picked for first reward was woeful, and also a prize for masternode, atleast one of the winner IS ON your team [art3m] ( WTF! )

Owner related:
----------------
 - Ganjaman doesn't to seem very professional with his responses at times. ( albeit responding to accusations can take its toll )
 - No Transparency - Should be showing where you hold the funds, show where they have been sent, and how winners have been picked and how many entries there where etc...

Whether you and or your project is legit or not, you should take more steps to answer questions from disgruntled investors ( without cheek/attitude/anger ),
You should have a clear / precise way to determine winners if chosen at random or by chance, and you shouldn't reward people on your team with prizes you are offering to the community.
( Pay out of your own pocket if you wish to reward the team that works with you ).

No hate on the project, hopefully you can refine the rough edges.

Why is this coin dead
I rushed updates, without actually testing, the coin is still on two exchanges, but not currently able to transfer any coins due to no nodes syncing.

The problem/s
1. The network won't sync
 - Although at-least one user managed to sync with lpool.name who happened to still mine new blocks but not syncd with the main network, and had shared the latest blocks with us
2. Wish to change algo
 - Have thought about changing algo, but am unsure if there's a way to have a new algo and still use the old blocks
 - Might have to revive the coin in its POW state, and then fork to a new algo
3. Probably some others can't think of right now.

Who's 'potentially' helping currently
There is currently a team (boxyteam) in talks with me now about possibly helping revive / maintain,
And also a developer that is aiding Unobtanium with development, may in the future possibly help out as well although nothing set in stone.

Sorry for delays, i am still in talks with boxy they do seem keen but they also have their own project to work on and we need to figure out the best way to do it all ( IF it does happen )..
There is also much to be discussed and will take time for example but not limited to:
- Fix the problems or try re-code a new source with the same block data ( so everyone still has flurbo's ), or should we try to do a fork of some-kind.
- Should we/Can we change algo

I am sorry, but i fear you are right.

i never got a response back from lpool.name im sure if i got a copy of their blocks i could get the entire network to resync again with a new build,
if anyone has the blocks from that point and are able to send then that could save the project too.

had possibilities of maybe trying to fork the coin ( although would need someone with expertise on this as not sure how to fork a stuck coin.. ).

but atm i am as stuck as is the flurbo network .

If anyone at any point has a solution, or anything do-not hesitate to contact.

Sadly i have tried re-compiling an older version and running and it still didn't sync.
Unsure exactly what the problem is but i think it has to do with an error with checkpoints, although not sure how it is affecting older versions or if i made other mistakes in testing the older versions.
and why fixing the checkpoints information or removing doesn't seem to fix.

I am still looking further into solutions i can do, but this problem has been a devastating blow to this project.

I hope to find a solution, and apologise to all investors / holders for this major inconvenience/problem, but i will not give up until its undeniably unfix-able.
Although this may take some time i have no plans to give up on this coin!

I have messed something up so the "Hardcoded" seed nodes are not currently working.

if anyone is able to post there node's ip, then others could manually add it to try re-build network.

Big apologie, for last update
it appears  a few mistakes;


Including but not limited to;
- Not changing hardcoded seeds ports
- Not changing "defaultport" to 8913.
- Another error causing no source blocks...

I didn't realise this error, due to no blocks being mined made it hard to realise wasn't new blocks coming in.
I have only just noticed it, and will try fix once home from work today.

The syncing is probably due to no blocks being mined currently.
The main pool miners was using was 'newcoin.sopool.us'. but that has been down for a few days.

If you have at-least one connection in peers that shows "user agent /Flurbo:0.12.2/" Then it should all be connected ready to receive another block once mined.

I've updated flurbo core, below is the Linux/Windows files, android wallet is updated on server-side, and paper wallet will work as is.

Still working on finding a solution to remove bitcoin nodes from the network, Also the "newcoin.sopool.us" being down atm, and was our main mining pool contributing, is definitely not helping our coin in these tough times XD.
But it does give a little time for more maintenance on the network, just know although time constraints i'm putting as much time as i can into this coin.

I have created a cryptocurrency,
Yet i have messed up a little but not exactly sure where.

The Problem
Either my network is connecting to bitcoin nodes, or they are connecting to my network.
Originally i have left the port as 8333, although in process of releasing an update with port changed to 8913.
But this doesn't seem to fix the problem.
Not sure if
A) Since connecting to some bitcoin nodes They have remembered my networks nodes and spreading throughout bitcoin network and therefore constantly connected to.
B) I have somehow left some code in that is still connecting to bitcoin node or bitcoin-seeder.
C) Something else

I am pretty sure i have removed all hardcoded bitcoin-seeds.
Also pretty sure i have removed all domains pointing to bitcoin-seeders.

No desire to turn Flurbo into a token, so no fear of that.

The peers connecting from different client is something im trying to figure out myself, i am sure there is no remaining "bitcoin" hardcoded seeds, yet they manage to find.
It could possibly be a port issue, since i never changed port from 8333. - if anyone figures out the issue before me ill reward with some flurbo's xD!

The issue with peers not finding each other easily is with the 'bitcoin-seeder' i am also looking further into solving this issue it should be trivial.

There is a possibility that the difficulty issue may only be solved with a hardfork, but im not 100% sure yet.
I do believe could fix most issues for this coin without a hardfork, i wanna iron out them first few kinks before i fully address the difficulty issue.

I will do my best to keep you all updated.

Just an update on whats going on so-far...

Am looking further into solutions for the difficulty issue, its starting to look more and more like i might have to go the POS route (opinions desired).
There's also a need for more 'bitcoin-seeder' dns servers so if anyone is keen to host one to help the flurbo network please contact me.

Also on another note, i added paperwallet, so users who have OSX or IOS devices that cannot currently use flurbo, have somewhere to store there FLB's!.

I've submitted a pull request to walletgenerator.net's github so it'll be officialy added to there website, but for now you can just download the source and run locally on your own computer from:

Although this weekend I am stuck at work so progress may be a little slow this week, but ill make as much time as i can to move this project forward,

From whichever wallet your coins are in you can "send" them to another wallet via the receiving address for that wallet.

Hmm, i have realised i have forgotten to add seed nodes, so relying currently on hard-coded seeds.
I am looking into adding seed-node, however am having a little trouble.

If anyone has done this before and can help me out that'd be awesome xD.
Or if anyone can submit some seed-nodes if they do-not mind hosting then that'd be appreciated too.

I am sorry but you confuse me with the rest of your message.
i understand your worry for small exchanges, but if i was a seller of flurbo's i'd be more worried about dealing with a unknown identity privately, where if there was an issue they could disappear quietly much easier than a small exchange.
But of course you and others are welcome to exchange your flurbo's / other coins any way you wish, but remember transactions are irreversible.
