SEC only applies for US citizens and ONLY for buying or creating their own funds - it is not related to holding ICN, not even for US citizens.
FACT #1: ICN tokens are classified as Unregistered Foreign Securities.
FACT #2: ICONOMI broke SEC law by advertising & selling foreign ICN security tokens to US citizens during the ICO.
FACT #3: KRAKEN.com is currently breaking SEC law by offering trading of unregistered foreign ICN security tokens to US citizens.

One phone call to the SEC & they'll shut down Kraken.com for offering trading of ICN tokens that are unregistered US securities.
Any US person who was scammed & defrauded by Iconomi team for investing in unregistered US securities during the ICO, should file a complain here: https://www.sec.gov/complaint.shtml Repost this when SEC office opens in next few hours so people can call them to suspend ICN trading on Kraken or shut down Kraken.com all together for offering trading of ICN tokens that are unregistered US securities..

A maximum of 1,250,000 MLN will be created before the final version of the Melon protocol is deployed to the live network. Following the live deployment, a fixed amount of new token will be created periodically and be distributed towards the most widely used Modules of the Melon protocol. This incentivises maintenance and development of the Melon protocol even after its final version is deployed to the live network.
I agree with your calculations that the maximum of 1,250,000 MLN will be created before the final version of the Melon protocol is deployed to the live network... but the main thing to consider in this comparison is that I don't give a fuck about neither MelonPort nor Iconomi, so keep on advertising other competitors here all you want. |

Jani & Tim were not allowed to speak at the conference because ICN is a Security Token & Iconomi team broke many SEC laws by soliciting money from US investors during the ICOEven after they launch their platform, I highly doubt people would trust their money with such shady fund managers in Slovenia... maaaybe few thousands of dollars, but nothing much that would make dividends any significant. They can fool people sometimes, but they can't fool people all the times.

All the trolling and FUD around here makes me laugh. The price is dropping or rising based off of such a tiny amount of ICN holders freaking out and selling or buying based off of predictions, rumors or lies. The core of ICN holders are in it for the long term it seems. Just look at the etherscan.io iconomi toke holdings. 60% of all ICN is still unmoved by the many investors which can be seen by the largest account. I'd be careful from buying ICN right now. Kraken may delist it if they re-evaluate it as a Security Token or if the SEC orders them to suspend ICN trading. |

I rather invest in another ICO and make a quick x4 or x5 return, than go down with this ship back under ICO level.

As I said:Iconomi had potential back in Q3/Q4 2016 but unfortunately the delays, the lies, the woes are starting to unravel in their business plan, especially with the legal barriers & OFM delay to end of 2017.

He verified that the reason it was listed on Kraken and not other exchanges is because ICN devs gave Kraken green light, but not yet any other exchanges. Most major exchanges don't list a coin/token unless they get approval from the devs. Bittrex owner said ICN is "not getting listed soon" because it's a Security Token you moron. ICN founders said repeatedly that they tried to list ICN on Poloniex & kept hiding behind NDA's because Poloniex refused to list ICN because it's a Security Token. Bittrex owner said they're "working on other things" meaning ICNX trading, which will only accelerate the dilution of ICN price & market cap since dividends from ICNX will remain minuscule for months. |
