The project is alive  Smiley

Alive? But price near zero, and it is not listed even in third-league exchange:(
Ohm. I should predict how it will end

Any idea why the price is rising on Blockfolio for a while now?

I use Hodlcoin core wallet 6.0

When I place a deposit I get a lot more interest than is predicted from the calculator in http://hodlcoin.com/.

Why?

What would it take to introduce privacy features into HodlCoin, (like ZCash, ZCL)?

I have a discrepancy. If I look at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hodlcoin/ it says the Circulating Supply is 164,342,925 HODL on 2/20/2018. That is way past when mining ended. However if I go to the wallet and use getmininginfo info it says 400,089 blocks have been mined that should put us around 20,004,450 + interest. Is there a way to see how much HOdlcoin is out there using the wallet? If I am correct coinmarketcap is way off on it's numbers. Someone should confirm the numbers and correct the website in the interest of continuity.

Q: the codebase of HODLcoin is 0.11.sth The BTC codebase has progressed since. Would it make sense to upgrade the HODLcoin base?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin God on: January 26, 2018, 12:17:05 PM
Is there a wallet that has implemented the support of Bitcoin GOD?

Maybe we should rename HODLcoin into sthg like BitcoinNuts etc. Might do miracles to the price

I fired up an old Hodlcoin wallet on my Windows7 laptop (32bit). After some time of snych I get the message

No blocksource available ( I am not sure whether that would be the message in English as I get in German).

On my Windows 10 PC  the Hodlcoin wallet synchs without problem

What is the reason, what do I have to change?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | WEEKLY AIRDROPS !!! on: January 21, 2018, 04:59:21 PM
Why does the bot from this account 3P7g9A5i33vFQDXpjsLQmpKVDf7hP6xa7a8 buy overpriced Waves on the DEX? It has already bought 155000 Waves.

Don’t ask us, talk to the bot.

i hope sasha didnt release wusd and weur without usd,eur backup its disaster to waves project Angry

Fact is the community has not idea on the subject except wishfull thinking that wUSD are REALLY backed.
No audit has been made so you just rely on promesses.

I agree: The gateways work nicely: I tried the out the round trip: EURO in Buy/Sell EURO out. But who guarantees that there are EURO to cash out at the end?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My list of Bitcoin forks on: January 19, 2018, 04:58:15 PM

Is there some wallet around that collects all the BTC forks? Some "Super-QT" or some such?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SECOND AIRDROP] BITCOIN RHODIUM [BTR] - Limited - Rare - Resistant on: January 02, 2018, 02:00:42 PM

What happens if there are some BTR remaining unclaimed? What do those coins get used for?
Our initial plan was to move remaining to mining distribution. But we are open to discussion.

Make a 3rd airdrop. After Jan 18th it is clear who gets how many BTR from the 2 airdrops.
If there a leftovers:
Distribute them evenly among all the wallets

I started mining HODL until I realized that people are abandoning it. Too bad. I liked it. Someone told me to check similar type of coin which uses same hodl algorithm and term deposit system.

That's what I am mining for the last 2-3 weeks

I learned today that HODLCoin can be traded on BarterDex, a decentralized Exchange project. I couldn't verify as the sw around BarterDex seems rather Linux havy and I am not much of a Linux follower. Maybe somebody with more knowlegde in that area can check it out.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: December 10, 2017, 06:29:00 PM
Bitcoin Gold
Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again

How can I get Bitcoin Gold?
The Bitcoin Gold (BTG) initial coin distribution method is exactly the same as that used by Bitcoin Cash (BCH). All Bitcoin holders who possess BTC private keys on October 25 (block 491 407) will receive Bitcoin Gold on the rate of 1 BTC = 1 BTG (If you have 20 BTC you will receive 20 BTG). You need to control BTC private keys in order to make Bitcoin Gold transactions.

What wallet should I keep my BTC in to make sure I will receive BTG?
Any secure Bitcoin wallet that gives the user exclusive control of the cryptographic private keys is a suitable location to store your coins prior to the October 25 fork. Some wallets may offer you direct access to your BTG, while others may require you to take additional technical steps. Verified wallets that support BTC and BTG side-by-side will be listed on the Bitcoin Gold home page. We will publish guides for retrieving BTG from the most popular wallets, including Bitcoin Core, Electrum, Mycelium, hardware wallets, paper wallets, and more.

I want to use the BitcoinGold Wallet to claim my BTG from my Jaxx BTC wallet.
Q: Can I enter the seed phrase from Jaxx to claim it? If yes, where?

Total Payout : 5694 Wallets - 62900.97662 BTX

Your Bitcore Team
I am bit confused. According to my statistics there were 5.089 Mio.BTX @ 13hwgY4YUvrgnhjLP5ugFafL1cmbRRtr5e after last weeks (Nov 28th) drop.
Now I see 5.041 Mio. BTX at that address. Difference 48.000 not 62901. Did I miss something?
18  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Import vs sweep private key in Electrum on: November 24, 2017, 11:54:47 AM
I just wanted to try out the sweep in a "safe" environment. Maybe it doesnt work within E.
19  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Import vs sweep private key in Electrum on: November 24, 2017, 09:28:07 AM
I want to (Transfer) sweep BTC from Electrum Wallet A to Electrum Wallet B

a) I export the private keys in wallet A

      - I tried CSV, JSON, copy and paste

b) I use "sweep" in wallet B (I have used all three ways from a)

However, the sweep button stays grayed out, i.e. is not functional.

What am I missing?

1) What is "bloom"?
2) Is the algo considered ASIC resistant?
