I understand you frustration. but fighting against the system head on is only gona give the  government reasons to go after the bitcoin community users.  we can  fuck up theses bureaucrats once  we have established  a  proper global decentralized currency. away from the control of world  governments.

So, has there been any progress with this dude?

He's going to pay, right after pirate does..

Ahh, OK, so when hell freezes over.

Just find it strange that people have just let him off with a crazy sum of money, surely someone should try their hand at getting a debt collection agency involved, or something at least, we know who he is and where he lives after all.

Yes *somebody* should do something! As long as that somebody isn't me, right?

I don't find it strange that the forum is all talk, no action. That's just like every other forum on the internet.

it's called bitcointalk, not bitcoinaction Tongue

I started a trade with -berniemadoff- for PS3 games 1/2 before shipment and 1/2 on receipt for a total of 7 BTC.  After sending 3.5 never heard from him again.  Does not respond to IM's.
>berniemadoff

lawl, whoever does a deal with someone named berniemadoff should hope for the worst

Hi Knight22,
I'm looking to try the process of buying BTC through Netbanking - holding it for a while - selling BTC - transferring funds back to bank account. The only easy place for buying BTC right now seems to be Localbitcoins.com and there is only 1 seller there with ratings (Bit_India). He is asking for over 3k INR per BTC, which i think is almost a 50% markup on the current price but it's okay for me since i just want to buy 1 BTC and see how the pathways for INR-BTC-INR work. Will i be able to sell that 1 BTC on Mt. Gox (i verified my account there) and get a bank transfer back to my account?

Best,
Karan

This is my first post on this famous BTC Forum Site. And Benson Samuel, you're probably the most recognised name in India for BTC, have seen your posts in many places since i got into BTC 10 days ago. I actually registered here as i wanted to post in this AMAZING thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

but i think it is reserved for people who are seniors on this site or something, as i can't find a reply button on that thread. It isn't locked as someone posted there on 27 Feb 2013.

Well, good to be here.
