1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: October 16, 2017, 08:39:27 PM
Definitely worth to put some money into it.
I think at the end of the year there will be a new ATH. >420$
Maybe late 2018/ early 2019 you can stake ETH. so now would be a good time to buy these cheap ether.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is China still going to ban bitcoin exchange in China on: October 05, 2017, 02:10:25 PM
A lot of Exchanges will move to Hongkong or Japan.
Overall it should not be worrying.
Maybe china Exchanges will come back online with some new KYC policies ...

Salutations, I tried executing the contract and it looks to have stuck with an error.

Profit locker - https://etherscan.io/address/0x51FFC1b089392a5bb65BF24EAf04d07D0e6F88B5

I also see I'm not the only one with the same error.
Error: "Contract 0x51ffc1b089392a5bb65bf24eaf04d07d0e6f88b5
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad jump destination] "

Will each of us need to open a support ticket or is this solvable from your end?

Bump.
send proper gas limit

20k gas is not enough now?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum maximum number of coins on: February 09, 2016, 09:41:56 AM
no limit. It's not ment to hold value, it's ment to be 'fuel' ... it was made very clear from the beginning this stuff would be inflationary. ETH is not suitable for speculation. It is just 'fuel' to prevent spam. Nobody was reading the Terms of Service? People blow money on stuff based on hearsay? Yes?

it's worse than fiat because fiat doesn't devalue by 25% in a year. If you bought into ETH for speculative gains then i have bad news for you.

had to quote this  Grin
ETH now sitting @ 3.6$ (0.0094 BTC)
but i am pretty sure this thing will get down before the halvening
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] CasinoBitco.in CBTC on: January 07, 2016, 09:52:27 AM

i just leave this here, make your own conclusions

I can tell you one thing, AM has just hired some new staffs! It's not a secret, many chinese know that.

How do they know? Where was this info released?

AM posted some employment ads for serval titles:

These are overdued:
Deployment Manager (10 people) (Posted Date 30/12/14) job.dajie.com/ca045b5a-21ec-4ff9-96bf-8a8a593f3309.html
PCB Engineer            (10 people) (Posted Date 30/12/14) job.dajie.com/02032919-c91f-4c3f-8fe6-8e73d9291757.html
Senior Sales Manager (10 people) (Posted Date 30/12/14) job.dajie.com/f59bded9-125f-4c1e-bf4f-f6deb7119484.html

These are still valid:
College PR (just face to colleges!)  (some) (10/01/15) job.dajie.com/4d97fffc-212b-472b-9726-70482917568d.html
Ads & Strategy Planner                (some) (10/01/15) job.dajie.com/dd165006-eef8-4676-87e9-95cdc825c375.html

I think overdued means they've already hired enough guys.

This is at the header of the AMHASH thread

Should I be concerned ? I know that all the junk
in the securities section carries that warning but
how can I be sure that this particular junk is safe ?
It is trading on a junkyard somewhere in Panama
I think, rather than Africa.

Any special reason why this is in the header of this thread ?

Donīt recall seeing this elsewhere.

That header is in every thread in this subboard (Securities).

All right. Well, I havenīt visited this junkyard before
so obviously itīs the first time I see this disclaimer.

You're about to be the first ever on my ignore list.  Thanks for the demonstration of trolling asswipe.

13  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 29, 2014, 01:12:31 PM
Well lets just say I lost 32BTC from investing into this. I know its my fault so you guys don't have to blame me for taking this risk. It is a part of investing into things like this. It is just sad that it is becoming very common now in the btc forums.

I myself invested well over 1 Million into multiple bitcoin companies trying to get up an running and majority of them keeps their word. It turns out the ones who have too much to handle just breaks down and decide to make a few sales and run off with it. This is all a risk that you have to take and its our faults for investing into it.

finally, fresh perspective
it looks like scam now
.
.

"we are all fucked over again", in bfl style (failed gen2, overpromised gen3, no communication and "subject to change")

sad.

1.41$/ghs ... that's amazing Smiley spondosomething is 2$/ghs

This is good news, but not for long.
The next generation of stuffdoodly (available as soon as July!) will be 1.08$/ghs. (end customer price, without bulk discount).
Of course it's not sure they'll deliver in time, but they seem quite reliable, I bet they will.

And what about the shares? Do you have thousands of shareholder requests or why is my mail without effect since 16 hours?

I sent my email 10:34 8/5/14

I received my shares at 23:35 8/5/14

That is a 13 hour delay. They are going through.

received my shares within 13hours..

So ROCKMINER aren't using AM chips anymore? Is that why share price is tanking? Is this the end of ASICMINER?

20  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 23, 2014, 01:20:27 PM
OK if we sell these shares Ukyo wants all the proceeds divided equally not us first and everyone else later. Now do the maths. I don't know how much he owes and to how many people.

mid december he paid 386 BTC, that was about 6,175%,
so in total he owes the community 6251 BTC - 386 BTC already paid out
= 5865 BTC outstanding
