You can do this with a windows wallet or a linux wallet.

masternode genkey

copy the generated code to a text file

getaccountaddress 0

copy the generated address to a text file

encryptwallet "strong password" (don’t forget it)

Send 1000 XIOS to "address 0"

go to XIOS.conf in

C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\XIOS\XIOS.conf Linux:

~/.XIOS/XIOS.conf

rpcuser=<anything>

rpcpassword=<anything>

maxconnections=256

masternode=1

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP of the box you are running it on

So, I'll admit it, I never played DOTA or any of these other games before and don't really know much about them.  I'm more of and oldschool UltimaOnline/DAOC/Warhammer pvp'r.  Just made my first bet on a DOTA match like a true degen blind and watched the match, was cool shit.
