1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✅ Xios PoS/PoW No ICO/No Airdrop/No Premine/ ⚡ 485+ Masternodes 🔥Scrypt🔥 on: December 02, 2017, 02:09:35 AM
I gave up on the masternode. Haven't received any rewards for 2 weeks even though the masternode was on 24/7, unlocked and on the list. Now im content with what i get from staking, which seems to be more than masternode rewards i used to get before. At least its more frequent which accumulates and get around 8-12 staking rewards of 0.333 everyday. When i was receiving MN rewards, it was like 3-6 rewards of 0.666 per day but not everyday, sometimes only 1-2 0.666. Until this masternode issue is resolved, i will be staking and getting my rewards that way.

I really like this project, what wallet are you using for staking?

Use the wallet link on the first page of the ANN thread. Masternodes are proving to be very profitable. I get about 6-7 Xios a day per node. Just hope development gets back on track.

3  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Anyone still interested in GPUS? on: March 11, 2014, 02:47:32 AM
Yes it does sound pretty cheap. I've ordered 1 r280x from them as a sample using alibaba escrow. They made me pay $349USD for it but it's in escrow and they will deduct the difference from the major order if we proceed.

Time will tell I guess. Just trying to gauge some interested here so I don't waste my time.

edit: They are brand new with 2 year warranty
4  Bitcoin / Group buys / Anyone still interested in GPUS? on: March 11, 2014, 02:35:40 AM
I realise GPU mining is approaching the end of its lifespan but I may have found a very cheap supplier that would mean resale value alone would be worth it.

So far I have discussed with the supplier in regards to Sapphire r280x's and Sapphire TRI-X r290x's.

The r280's we are looking at around $278USD each plus shipping (from Malaysia). The r290s $500 each plus shipping.

These prices are definitely much cheaper than what we pay in Australia. Retail is $450 and $800 respectively.

Not sure how much different it is for the rest of the world.

I am trying to arrange escrow with the supplier and direct shipping of the product (I don't want to handle anybody's money but my own)

Payment will need to be in USD directly to the escrow as the supplier does not accept BTC.

I am interested in 20 units for myself (10 of each) but minimum for the prices above is 100

Please let me know if you are interested and how many units you would like so I can try negotiate a better deal.

I got done by Instant-e as well.

STAY AWAY!

7  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is mining in Australia worth it? on: May 21, 2013, 10:25:43 AM
Im in Sydney and Ive got a rig with 7 x 7950's running off 2 x 750W PSU and 1 850W PSU.

Last month the units generated 6.9BTC and the power usage was 930KW/H

If i was paying $0.30 per Kw/h (which is very high and does not take into account off peak, shoulders etc) it would cost me $279 per month.

If i sold the Bitcoins today at $120, i would have $828.

So definitely still worth mining in Australia. If it does become unfeasible, you can sell the cards our have an awesome gaming rig .

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much have newbie Mhs/Khs? on: May 08, 2013, 07:00:31 AM
Getting almost 800Mhs from a 5970 I bought for $120. Already made my money back!

That's a serious result for a 5970. What temps and settings if you don't mind me asking?

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please someone teach me simple mining :( on: May 06, 2013, 03:20:53 AM
Go through this step by step guide for litecoin mining:

If you can't understand it after reading that simple article, I suggest you forget mining.

The same principles apply to any scrypt based coins

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Plus500.de now accepts CFDs for BTC/USD. 4:1 Leverage on: April 30, 2013, 12:25:06 AM
I used plus500 a few years back. Only deposited $500, made $2500. When I went to withdraw they froze my account and didn't give a reason. Tried to contact them several times and nothing.

I would be cautious with depositing
15  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 9 x PCIe x1 to PCIe x 16 cables on: April 29, 2013, 08:49:33 AM
I would pay .15 BTC for one.

Where are you located?

I can see what we can do shipping wise.

Thanks for the advice!

I've actually got another 7950 now, do you think the psu will handle a third card?
18  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS: 9 x PCIe x1 to PCIe x 16 cables on: April 26, 2013, 05:19:02 AM
I currently have 9 spare PCIe x1 to PCIe x16 adapter cables.

I had to order extra because all other suppliers where out of stock and this particular supplier had a large MOQ (and a higher price i might add).

Im willing to let these go for 0.12BTC each + 0.05 for international shipping.

I am in Australia so i can include shipping Aus wide. If you would like express shipping, send me a PM and we can work something out.

Payment can be made to: 1EYErTBFZuk4CPD2MAsNSikC5ChcPsAPt6

Please PM me if you make a payment with all the details (name, shipping address, payment address)

20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Location based bitcoin merchant app on: April 18, 2013, 01:21:25 AM
I currently have an iOS app which is not related to bitcoin but i think it could do well within the bitcoin community.

It is a location based deals app where merchants can upload deals that that they wish to offer. Its a very simple process for a merchant to sign up and create new deals. There is currently no limit to deals and duration of deals.

On the user side of things, they open the app, and it shows all the deals "Nearby". They can also search through category, savings etc.

I was thinking was to change this app to be bitcoin specific. Not so much a deals based app but more of a "Where can i spend bitcoins" app.

It would be a free service, where merchants will be able to create a profile for themselves and users can see where they can spend bitcoin.

I think this service could help with merchant acceptance and user awareness.

I don't currently have a website running with the app so i would need someone to help me with that. Basically want the same functionality as the app.

I have taken the app offline for the moment as we have not been pursuing new business but i will upload screenshots when i get a chance.

The app is only available through iOS at the moment so i think an android version would be good.

I also don't really have that much time to devote to this project so if anyone is interested in jumping on board with me to get this going, that would be awesome! Just send me a PM.

Can anyone help with any other inclusions within the app or feedback in regards to the current system?

Any advice would be appreciated.
