1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 09, 2020, 10:56:54 PM
Social Media Platforms like Twitter or Youtube, can’t or would not assume a genuine or legit business posted on by a simple mere suspicion and without any complaints or case directly reported to them with the authority to verify such.

And by checking them means a waste of time or more manhours that will be something that Twitter and Youtube accounting can't handle for 330 million users worldwide and 2 billion YouTube.

And it is also the fact that Bitcoin Scams is rampant.

Is there anything we can do as a community to prevent people from sending their crypto to these scammers?

As a community, we have always talked about or giving warnings regarding this.
But as an individual bitcoin user we can just use a little brain, that's all really.
2  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-24] 3 Properties,are being sold for cryptocurrencies in the Philippines on: February 24, 2019, 08:01:18 PM
At this existing bitcoin price, the owner is highly knowledgeable about cryptocurrency. The value would be triple in just a year if the said house be sold at the current rate. That's a good move and certainly, give me an idea in the future dealings out of this kind.

The Philippines is always one of the top destinations in Asia on crypto spending. No tax, no regulations but with high business appreciation.

I'm gonna sell my house now so I can buy 3 more in December when bitcoin increased.
3  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-02]Amazon Might Have to Issue a Cryptocurrency Soon on: February 06, 2019, 06:41:36 PM
A collaboration and possible cooperation with this two company would make a big impact in cryptocurrency this year. Isn’t it late for over a year or so, before this implementation must have been done. The top exchange will support and help the highest and most popular online markets like amazon.

With proper negotiations on going (IF) is highly on time for the next run of crypto popularity that has been paused last year.

Amazon coin would be a big hit.

Do I have to locked this thread or wait for this accusations be answered? I don't want to be part of this spamming bot by not locking my thread and leaving it in the open.

Any advice may considered, I will look for this account and report it also if it rings the bell as farm account.

I should have locked it much earlier today if I have time.

BTC falls to the $5,000 region is if an unpredicted event occurs that negatively impacts the crypto market

Nothing fancy and that’s true, it happens like most possible with a huge propaganda pieces of machinery our competitors from mainstream and those against cryptocurrency. One and most obvious are the government like China and the financial profiles affected by it, the bankers.

We can’t also deny that bitcoin has been the favorite target by ICO/BCH(Roger Ver) within the market that is probably unworthy but does do make an impact to bitcoin in dumping season.

Bitcoin is my world now as always and crypto is our currency.

Actually, I think it's: crypto is my world now as always and bitcoin is our currency.

With that statement from you, what does building up credible posts on this forum have to do with your love of crypto or bitcoin? What is your goal and why does forum posting play a part in it?

Glad to have you back!

Glad for pointing it out. Edited. Thanks

It’s for maintaining what Satoshi Nakamoto legacy by making this forum alive and posting not perfect, but not spammy post is how we show respect to crypto and bitcoin. Follow theymos and appreciate what he has done.

I’m always around.

Sometimes is really hard to see our account get tagged so obviously you lost interest. How did you red trust removed though?

I dunno if this to be celebrated or not, lauda is been one of the best DT member but unfortunately her/his removal from trustees is not really a good idea even if it is advantageous on my part.

I have been tagged for signature cheating, that is unintentionally not the case. Link to Proof

I’ve been visiting my accounts for months, hoping for a reasonable progress that Lauda has done to justify my negative trust. With my evidence posted on that thread having multiple accounts and cheating a signature is not my way.
I am rechecking at the moment.

I know you and I’m shocked that instead or my red paint with Lauda, it’s marlboroza.
I was reposting some of lauda's feedback. Proof was solid.

9  Other / Meta / Negative Year, Positive Future on: October 17, 2018, 04:11:34 PM
It’s almost a year that I’ve lost my interest in posting in this forum, but never have abandoned or not a day visiting this community of bitcoin lovers. I do read topics on my interest, but shamelessly not replying because on a red tag. Now that I have cleared myself from an accusation that I have not done intentionally, I’m back for good.

Crypto is my world now as always and bitcoin is our currency. The future is here and to give up on it and to go back to the real world is like going back to the past. I don’t know if I will be accepted as I was, but does everyone does deserve a second chance.

Inactivity and merit is not the issue now, gaining momentum of posting constructive threads and post will be a challenge as merit sources have high standards of rewarding it.

I dunno if this the right section for this or in meta, it will be move accordingly. IF

Update: Before, I’m doubtful 0n myself to be accepted in this campaign but now having a red trust in my account shows that to exit this campaign is must, I don’t deserve to part of this campaign . It is my fate and life is a struggle to live.

12  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-23] The Wolf of Wall Street Thinks Some ICOs Are 'The Biggest Scam Ever on: November 07, 2017, 07:01:38 AM
The question is where regulation comes from.
The more that we impose best practices and reduce the level of scams the better regulation will be for everyone.
If we do nothing as a community then the regulation will be draconian.

I am (we are) trying to teach this to the GREEDY MASSES!
Thank you for showing us there are still some good people around here.

Yes it can, but is our bitcoin community really exist? Even in this forum, most are cheating and scamming each other’s without any care. If this is the people we are part of, it was not a good influence to most newbies who wanted to learn in a legal way. We or half of the members might have good intentions but can be manipulated by others who have the different motives. I know that ignorance in any rules is not an exception but this regulation will only be effective if all of us will give effort to follow it.

I will give time for this community to mature the same way bitcoin does. After all it is still a decade old there so many room to improve and be organized.

13  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-06] China Monitors Booming OTC Bitcoin Market After Shutting Down Excha on: November 07, 2017, 05:34:42 AM
Bitcoin users are creative enough to outplay the government restrictions, humans are good on that. I’m not sure if what will be the next move of the Chinese government about it, ignoring it or criminalise the use of OTC and its way. This will be not good to its citizens itself, retracting the order of closing exchanges and put it back on is the best options they can do.

@Argoo I think banning ICO is right enough but closing bitcoin exchanges is not effective as Op or the article said bitcoiners resulted in OTC (over the counter) transactions it’s like a back door transactions. Bitcoin is not ban in China by the way.

what if..?

Humans and ideas were form by imagination. Everyone one has unique and individually acquired kind of behaviour to separate both. But what if? The one persons imagination is the other persons reality. Theoretically there is no concrete determination of what right and what’s wrong of any opinion regarding someone’s recognition to a situation. 9/11 for me is nothing but a stunt by the American government.

Inflation is the reason bitcoin is created, it is and it was been in decades that this is manipulated by the same monopolist who are leading our financial and banking system.

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Telegram channels on: November 06, 2017, 11:38:07 AM
I highly recommended to have one telegram account for bounty purposes. It is the easier way to have updates from certain groups of bounty hunters who shared airdrops and open bounty campaigns. It is also one way of helping each other by giving small amounts for gas for ethereum transfer or the likes. Then the groups can also give referrals to each other, helping out boosting points. A group should be just below ten members if you want to have a peaceful place to chill than more with so much spamming. Telegram doesn’t need identification, so anonymity still on.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i withdraw btc for cash on: November 06, 2017, 10:45:28 AM
Actually this must be on the beginners section as it was more of a newbie thing discussion, you can even have more information about this matter on that place than here. But never mind, I will answer it accordingly.

Most bitcoin users need to have wallets, most of us uses online wallet like Coinbase and the like depending on the availability in each country. I will suggest to used more of a local wallet provider that is well-known or widely used in your country of origin, so that many features will be opened. Like bank transfers and many more.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: November 06, 2017, 09:18:05 AM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

Our country is currently studying about regulating it but as of now the status is cryptocurrency is not illegal and we’re open in transactions with banks. I believe our society is more open-minded to this kind of things than any other countries. We bitcoin investors and users is glad of our central banks officials are supporting and regulating exchanges to be legit. I’m fine in regulations if they can give good laws that is good for us all.

Bitcoin helps our life individually and if this will continue, it will be a big economic boost for one country.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Paradise Papers: a new massive leak of the elite's off-shore account (big names) on: November 06, 2017, 08:00:28 AM
I typically ask myself about the relevant of this leak to bitcoin taxation. I guess I’m not good on determining the connection or am I too confused about this leaking that is happening this past months. Panama and Paradise papers leak may good on exposing them publicly but the people already know that our justice system is a corrupted one and will only punished a regular worker not paying small tax than a celebrity with fame that is breaking the law. Sad but insanely true.
19  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 05, 2017, 07:34:09 AM
The more I look at it and more news coming out about it, only good things I can react on this matter. Amazon is a big company that can only boost more bitcoin popularity to its client. This is something I’m looking forward to experienced. This year is the best of all, when it comes to cryptocurrency history.

What can we expect more about bitcoin + amazon now? when the price is at 7400$ is it a big jump if indeed will happen this year or maybe an early next year. I don’t see but thinks on this news.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Gain knowledge from basic with me on: November 05, 2017, 03:10:29 AM
So you want to take a shortcut to the fountain of knowledge? We all started with almost zero knowledge and has invested a great amount of

money and time to get to the level of knowledge we have now. People are not going to willingly share their time without some kind of reward.  Roll Eyes

I would suggest that you locate a local Bitcoin meetup in your area and then join them... pay for a few rounds of beer and chill out and just talk

about Bitcoin. Enjoy.  Grin

I think this one is good, making bitcoin friend in a local community is the easiest and much more practical way of gaining more knowledge than reading(I hate the most) but in this field, my privacy and anonymity will be compromised. This is something I’m doubtful of, maybe making a new identity of myself is badly needed in this kind of meet-ups. The actual it takes the best way to learned, so I think I have to go for it.

The 🍺 beers won’t be good enough a harder it gets the more information and a dipper it goes. Mostly for a man or woman to tell the truth m, drunk them and asked. Funny but true.
