1  Other / Off-topic / How Ubuntu Should Be Run from a USB Drive on: March 09, 2017, 11:10:20 PM
I just thought of an idea for a three-file way to run an Ubuntu ISO.

1. The ISO Itself.
2. An expandable, external persistence file.
3. A file that acts as the bootable gateway between the ISO and the external file.

However, is there such way to do this? Is there an existing way?

Ok, I see what you mean. If you wish, I highly recommend testing the VM to verify it.

I did not install any malware, unlike what your antivirus told you. And as far as I'm concerned, I have no knowledge on how to install malware in the first place. Also, as of right now, I dont know why, but my computer's uploading it very slowly as it is not finished uploading.

Hello, Bitcoiners!

I have premade VMware images with Ubuntu Server and the Bitcoin daemon uploaded to 4shared! You actually might need this VM because

A) you can run multiple nodes on one computer with lots of hard disk space;
B) by copying a VM with a fully downloaded blockchain to run on your computer, you are copying the blockchain itself the easy way,
and C) you can use these VMs on lots and lots of servers.

All you have to do enter "bitcoin" for the username, "node" for the password, and "bitcoind -daemon" to get it running!

If you have an altcoin, whether regular altcoin or CryptoNote, that needs a node but you don't have another local computer to host the node on, and you don't have anyone willing to let their computer be a node, I am willing to host it for you remotely, for FREE. Just comment with the link to your altcoin and I will download it.

But aren't network difficulty and pool difficulty different?

Hi! Another noob here, so please bear with me.

I am using the Bitcoin miner app for Windows 10, and the difficulty says "1000". I have the app set to Ckpool, and I am running 32MH/s. If I could I would provide a screenshot. Is this the actual difficulty I am running on, and if so, based on calculations, what would be my block time?

In terms of INF8 value, I do sell gift cards for 1 INF8 per dollar.
9  Other / Off-topic / Question about Bitcoin Value on: May 13, 2016, 11:18:45 AM
To whom it may concern,

I am very keen about increasing Bitcoin value, and I need to ask this: if I paid $1 for 0.00000001 of a Bitcoin, would the value of a Bitcoin increase a lot but a little bit? And if this is a good idea, would everyone be willing to try?
