Hi guys,
Big news! We were busy for the big news, we promised that.
Comet is becoming bigger and we want to focus on blockchain technology, maintaining the web platform.
There is a work in progress port of Comet to CryptoNote based tokens.
We are also preparing a conversion tool to get your XComet Tokens giving CometCoins!!
All of this will be explained in a new post, with the presentation of a consistent project (YES!! we wrote the complete project)
This will make Comet blockchain more: Anonymous, Fast, Secure.
Porting timeline: (approximately)
Within 2 weeks:
New client sources ready, new post on BitcoinTalk (also linked here) of XComet Tokens
After 1 week:
Testnet client for internal tests.
Online conversion tool exclusively for CometCoin owners (change will be 1 CMT -> 12 XComet Tokens, is 30% bonus based on Comet->XComet Max supply, normalized rate should be 1 CMT -> 9 XComet)
1st October 2016:
ICO Platform** (YES! We are making these to get funds for launch on Major Exchanges: Bittrex, C-CEX, Polo, CoinPayments and others minor, YES AGAIN!)

15th October 2016:
End of ICO, we need to raise (at least) approx 20 BTC to get on all Exchanges (paying listing fees etc.)
16th October 2016:
Client binaries for Windows / MacOS release
1st November 2016:
Launch simultaneously of Exchanges.
10th November 2016:
XComet Platform update with new client.
January 2017:
Official release of Payment API, the API will allow merchants to get Paid in XComet and BTC (with auto-conversion tool)
Users will be able to pay on stores with XComet and BTC.
Some specs (Official thread will follow next 2 weeks):
Max Supply: 18 Million coins
Block time: 60 seconds
Emission curve: 0->95% of max supply (around 30 years)
5.5 millions reserved for CometCoin users that exchange on pre-ico
1.5 millions reserver for ICO participants
0.5 millions to Dev team (original CometCoin premine without 30% bonus reserved for CMT Users, was 60,000 CMT converted to 0.5million XComet)
Bounties:
0.2 millions reserver for:
- Ads campaign
- Graphics
- Translations
- Other stuff (explained in Official Thread)
Why all this?
1. We realized that without funds we can't get listed on main exchanges
2. Without a good advertisement campaign we can't get users on board
3. Litecoin's base code does not fit our idea to make Anonymous,Secure and Fast web and blockchain payment platform

How can you remove every coin from Yobit?  Of course we can't.. But we'll tell to all users to remove from there because the wallet will not be updated there |

Hi, sorry for not writing. We are planning to reduce coins generated per block at 2 CMT, from block 55.000 then keeping the halving every 97000 blocks. We will come up with new clients and sources within 1 or 2 days max. After the release we will announce to remove every coin from YoBit.Since the last experience with them we want to protect our usersFirst. We know that YoBit is really slow at every client update. Second. We don't want to be listed there anymore. Third. Our main project will be updated and our next goal is to get listed on a mayor Exchange within the end of the year. Thank you everyone. @luxfilms: should be awesome, if you want to share more details in private we are open. We can give you the pay button to use in your community and the API to make transactions on Comet blockchain, so you can fully integrate it.
Of course we are open to get some investments to put more resources on development or by doing software or applications

Nice hardware, if we had that hardware maybe we would mine other currencies to make our grater.
We don't care to have a lot of CMT if people don't have.
We are trying to make it more pleasant by creating our apps and making deals with stores to accept the coin.
We will make a public voting to keep this block time but lowering the reward to 2 CMT per block so we return to the initial setup but with faster blocks (it means faster confirmations)
Initial was: 10 CMT every 10minutes
Now is 10 CMT every 2 minutes.
We'll make a vote to bring at 2 CMT every 2 minutes
