This is all obvious FUD these guys are slinging. Sorry, but we're not seeing 800 sats ever again. It's only 3 BTC to about 1400 sats.
Only good news and progress on the horizon for RISE. There is supposed to be a very positive progress update today.

Rise has been sitting in the 1200-1400 range is there any news or updates? Rise had a good ico so I'm sure something is cooking
We have solid developments coming along. The Official RISE Forum just launched and the Windows RISE Lite Wallet is in final testing. The beta Windows Lite Wallet will be released soon: ANNOUNCEMENT
RISE fans, we're very pleased to announce the launch of our very own brand new *Rise Vision Foundation Forum*.
Be among the very first ones to sign up to grab and secure your account name.
We look forward to start building a wealth of knowledge in the forum together with our community.
Looking forward to see you there!
http://forum.rise.vision Dev updateThis will be a short update, but I wanted to get back to giving out updates consistently. Today I tested a Windows Rise Lite-wallet today. It connects to https://wallet.rise.vision to get data from the blockchain. It works for sending transactions. It is currently in Beta status, and the source code and executable will be released tomorrow. The developer, Mody1996 on Slack, built it off of DevKing's Rise C# SDK. Big thanks to both of them for their hard work. Coming soon for the Windows Lite-wallet, transaction history, balance details, UI modifications. I also want to take a moment to thank Darkoth89, and Aetsen, who have been extremely helpful in identifying potential pain points in the delegates and syncing system. As soon as I finish on boarding the other two developers, we will be able to dive into the issues around the delegate and syncing processes and get them resolved quickly.

This project is dead. The developers left. That is, if you want to call these fraudsters developers. There are people that have already put bounties out on these fraudsters. Stay away. Don't catch a fallen knife.
You are wrong and this is pure FUD. The developers have been in constant contact on a regular basis on here and in slack since the end of the ICO. Two new developers are being hired and starting on August 1st. Here is the latest blog post made within the past week or so: https://rise.vision/blog/post/general-update-structuring-the-team-1

I certainly won't forget. Whatever it is you need to prove, go do it elsewhere. I have already proven that this is garbage. Clearly he is FUDing out of desire for cheaper coins because he actually wants to buy RISE. Why else would he spend his time and energy?

Two new RISE devs and the Foundation’s Executive Director begin work on August 1st was mentioned in slack:
"jdr0dn3y [5:37 AM] Yes, they are starting August 1st, as is the Foundation’s Executive Director."
Brief RISE update--beta release may be coming soon and August will be a big coding month:
"jdr0dn3y [12:44 PM] We are still monitoring slack. Currently, we are working on organizational details and hiring. Filing for non-profit status, identifying marketing and conference opportunities, among other things. We are planning on getting back to the code beginning of august, to start releasing some new things. We may have a beta release coming later today, if I can get to testing it."
So they have two weeks holiday. No I don't think you read it thoroughly. They have been keeping themselves busy and just hired two new developers that get on the payroll August 1st.

any news about Rise?
Nothing yet. What news are we going to expect by the way? I think the coming focus is working on getting all the programming language SDKs to function, the smart contract builder, and the DAPP builder to work shown by the most recent roadmap.

Has the reward for blocks been decided yet? Will it get reduced (like in my opinion it should and be disabled for the time being)
By the polls and discussion that has been done so far it appears the majority does want a reward reduction. The word is that an honest and official poll will be taking place on the new RISE forums. From Slack (the ICO funds have been released and the forum is planned for launch next Saturday): "mcventure [6:42 AM] @kalwan, Escrow has been released already. Forum is being built, we're aiming to launch next Saturday."

Lol fuggit. I have 100% of my savings in crypto, and of that, 100% in Monero. I'm in this car until the bitter end. I mean, I have some Aeon too, but I don't count that.
I am 100% in XMR as well and it is my main holding. If I want to buy other alts I use it as collateral.

Seems likely ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You know at this two year point BTC was hovering around a dollar and then climbed to $30. The GUI in the next month or two might send us up to new heights! If DASH can hit $7 to $15--I am sure XMR will one day since we have the superior technology. The only thing we lack compared to DASH is marketing and we do have a marketing research proposal in the works: https://forum.getmonero.org/6/ideas/2536/marketing-research-proposal

Back OT..
Looks like we're going to pull back to 19.5k-20k, then I think the 4-week cup and handle will complete, and next leg (next weekend?) will push up to 33k.
I don't think so there is 300 BTC between us and 200k. A slow day doesn't signal a trend reversal. We are still in uptrend but until volume picks up we may slow our ascend or go sideways until volume picks up. Personally I wouldn't sell I'd just be patient. The sell side hasn't increased and the supply is quite limited compared to the demand.

IMHO when people will be able to liquidate their DAO ETH will dump hard and ALTS will drop too. Many people who bought ETH for the DAO pump are sitting in 50% + profits, not a bad gain to lock in.
Alts aren't connected to the rise and fall of ETH. That idea is just ridiculous. I've witnessed many alts going up when ETH goes down over the previous months.

Usually it is a great selling opportunity when we have the walls. I am not giving any trading advice here - everybody shall do their own due diligence. I am a buyer when XMR hits 0.001 (probably during the upcoming 6-7 months).
Hey there XMR perma-bear Scrooge McDuck. This Coinigy one month chart tells a different story about XMR being in a new uptrend since the 18th: https://www.coinigy.com/s/i/5740dd00/It's possible we'll never see 0.001 range again...
