Rise Development UpdateOur development team has just completed the implementation of three new updates to the Rise Web Wallet, which were rolled out seamlessly to the user community. Security HardeningThe web wallet now signs every transaction client-side, meaning no passphrases are ever broadcast or exposed to the node it connects with. This is an important security update for those who don’t want to have to trust any node that is controlled by someone else. The update effectively makes the Rise Web Wallet just as secure as the Rise Desktop Wallets. Increased performanceScript minification was added to make the wallet load faster. Improved test environmentA testing script was developed to simplify future additions of new wallet functionalities. GITHUB: https://github.com/RiseVision/rise-wallet/pull/1

Ok, so this is obviously not the real Shazad Boota. The "update" this fake account is providing is not accurate. We don't use newbie accounts to release official Rise announcements. Hey, Shazad Boota here; advisor for this project, RISE. I know you guys have been wondering what we've been doing; why there have been no updates; those kind of questions... So I just wanted to give you guys an update. This was supposed to be a surprise for mid August, but we'll be doing Chipz snapshot on August 20th. The website is coming along nicely! We'll have it up and running this Friday, along with the ROADMAP! (Yes, finally). The startup incubator with take more time than expected, due to complications, but it will come, don't worry. We'll keep you guys updated on this. We are also planning on creating our own Slack channel, so you can chat with us, and to keep you guys updated. Also, we just updated our Javascript SDK! You can check it here: https://github.com/RiseVision/rise-tsThanks for trusting the Rise team. Have a good day, Shazad B. Awesome news, so is it safe to transfer our Rise tokens to the Rise Vision Wallets? Also, there is going to be a separate Slack channel just for Chipz holders or are you dumping the old Rise Slack to start a new one?

How many coins are needed to run a rise delegate- without accepting any public votes? Whats the upcoming big tick item in work for rise at the moment?
Hi @bluedude, The following page shows a 'live' list of the current Rise Delegates and how many Rise you would need to vote yourself into the top 101 active delegates who forge Rise rewards at a rate of 427 RISE per day per Delegate. http://rise.delegates.tech/risevotel.phpAside from that, the official Rise Delegate Monitor is also a very useful tool to view Delegate rank, approval rates, forged Rise per node, and more: https://explorer.rise.vision/delegateMonitor

How is RISE different from LISK? The 101 delegate DPOS proposal is the same consensus model followed by LISK, right?
Hi @WayToGo, RISE is using a Delegate system which allows only 1 vote per wallet address, instead of 101 votes per wallet address like LISK. This is similar to how ARK's delegate system works. However, where ARK has only 51 active delegate spots for forging, RISE will have 101 just like LISK.

2) Delegate System will be activated for the community. As an immediate result every RISE holder can earn daily RISE rewards via the Delegate Voting system. You either become an active delegate yourself and earn 427 RISE a day or you vote for a delegate that has a profit sharing plan. Either way, if you own Rise you will be able to earn.
Where can I read more about this? What should be done for this? @IeSua, to get all the details come join us on Slack ( http://slack.rise.vision) and read more on the Rise Community Forum ( https://forum.rise.vision)

Dear McVenture The ticketing system actually doesn't send me any confirmation mail. So maybe up to 5 tickets have been generated, due to experimenting with browsers and else. Is there any way to contact your ZENdesk directly? Please PM. Tyvm! @bravesoul, I've sent you a PM. Thanks

I still do not have my coins, despite doing everything they asked me to do. Not to b**ch at the worst moment, when there is a change going on, but the stupid people of Bittrex are sending me messages that the transaction does not exist on the explorer. Of course it would not exist, the coin is on a new blockchain. Somebody should tell these people to stop acting like everyone they deal with are noobs. I am not going to let them steal my coins.
Hi @papillon13, please check your email, I sent you some information that might help your case. Thanks.

I expect that there will be a lot of unhappy investors come July 19!! I, not being very active following current developments, just happened to stumble across the network swap details today completely by chance. I don't remember getting any email or seeing much other in announcements being made. I could have very easily missed the cut-off date if not for luck. Hi @mstang83, a snapshot of the old blockchain will be saved, so we will have records of all transactions. As a result we are able to continue to offer support if someone somehow did not catch the network swap announcement in time. Proof of wallet ownership will of course be required.

IMPORTANT SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTThe URLs of the wallet and explorer for the old (current) mainnet have changed to the following: Wallet:https://wallet-old.rise.visionExplorer:https://explorer-old.rise.visionThe NEW mainnet is now using the following URLs: Wallet:https://wallet.rise.visionExplorer:https://explorer.rise.visionImportant: The NEW mainnet links are currently only useful for our private testers who have been given early access to forge, so please only use the first two links mentioned for the current mainnet (wallet-old.rise.vision and explorer-old.rise.vision) to check your transactions and to send your tokens to Bittrex. The last two links will NOTgive you the correct information about your tokens because it connects to a different (new) blockchain. After July 19th, when the network swap has been completed you can use the last two links and the first two links will be discontinued. Warning: If your Rise is already on Bittrex, do NOT move it back out again. Leave it there until AFTER the network swap (after July 19th), do not risk losing your tokens. See https://rise.vision/swap for more details.
