1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another bull run speculated for Q4,2018? on: August 31, 2018, 02:51:48 PM
It is really hard to say if there will be another bull run or not. Plus right now, there really cannot be any accurate predictions about the market either, because it is so volatile right now.

If the ETF is approved in September, there will be bull run.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3 on: May 19, 2018, 02:39:36 PM
is it possible to mine cryptonight-heavy with Claymore miner ?
Try SRBMiner. For my Asus RX560 2Gb DualFan for cn/cn-v7 with Claymore - 495 h/s, with SRBMiner 515 h/s. For ch-heavy 325 h/s.

SRBMiner 1.5.0
GPU1-3 - Asus RX 560 2Gb DualFan, GPU4 - Sapphire RX 560 4gb Nitro

Does SRB work with old cards like R9 390?

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k By March 2018 on: November 23, 2017, 06:54:31 PM
It would be awesome if it will happen in the future. By now bitcoin is in $8000 amount, many holder of bitcoin will be interested in that because just by holding it they can have a larger profit than now because you see it will have a $2k difference than now and in the future from $8000 to $10000 they will gain a great profit there.

That's right and there is higher chances that bitcoin will achieve that price in coming months and if the same rise continues then we may see that price even at the end of the year as experts have speculated that we will see much higher price at the time of Christmas so its good to hold our coins for that time.

I think with the help of future trade in CME, it will attract more people and investors. The $10,000 could be reached sooner.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6000 comming through on: October 21, 2017, 01:23:54 PM
Regards the BTC price at the moment I assume that the price will fail back to 4300$ after the fork. I believe in bitcoin and I believe it will go up again after the fork, but for now it keep going down.
Another thought is the price goes down due to the amount of people selling their BTC since they don't wanna face the fork I am not sure if that has an effect, but I will not join the fork. I will sail after it

If one chain dies out quickly, the surviving chain will rise a lot. If not, the combined value will be lower.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: August 23, 2017, 08:43:24 AM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Gold has a physical value and Bitcoin's value changes from time to time. The price of gold is more stable compared to Bitcoin. If you'll ask many people about which is more reliable, they'll surely answer Gold because it is less volatile. But it is just that Bitcoin is more profitable especially nowadays that its price is continuously increasing day after day.

Gold is more reliable, but the bitcoin has more potential.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Poloniex Boom, which coin next? on: May 29, 2017, 06:55:19 AM
Let's see what the insiders and whales have planned next.

that could be the ZEC.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: January 01, 2017, 06:44:26 PM
Many people owns golds. Gold used for many centuries as their currency. But bitcoin is beats gold. Imagine, there are only few people who is actually owns bitcoin. What more if the all peole use  bitcoin? But gold is good to hold for a very long time since its value is stable. Bitcoin is good for short term investment.

It is much easier to use bitcoin. I used bitcoin to buy things, but never used gold.

11  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 22, 2016, 04:09:18 PM
I would personally hold bitcoins instead of gold. Bitcoin is relatively new and a lot of people still don't know about it. Which means that bitcoin has that potential that we are so far from. Rich people have invested in gold because it was the trend back then, meaning that the gold's current price is already the inflated price. Bitcoin, on the other hand, hasn't pumped that much at all. It surely will sky rocket once rich people invest in it.

That is right. The bitcoin is better than the gold. You can use the bitcoin to buy things but you cannot do that with gold.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: October 04, 2016, 08:28:12 AM
Why dont you want to sell your coins i dont think there are so many people who want to selltheir coins right now because the price of the bitcoin is not very high at the moment.

If the past bitcoin price performance is of any guidance, the price of the bitcoin will rise a lot in the future.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 20, 2016, 07:15:30 AM
I've seen non yet to pay something with button here, when I was in need I used my coins to buy me what I wanted but already converted to fiat. No transactions directly made through bitcoin I ever have.

It is better not to convert the bitcoin to fiat before buying. If you use the bitcoin directly, that will help circulation.
14  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-09] forbes.com| What Big Banks Can Learn From Bitcoin's Technology on: September 10, 2016, 07:16:46 AM
"Given the enormity of what’s at stake and the spotty track record of digital currencies, it’s understandable that banks would want to proceed with caution. In early August, for example, Bitfinex, a Hong Kong-based exchange where bitcoin is traded, was hacked, resulting in the theft of about $65 million. Bitcoin is underpinned by the blockchain, the best known distributed ledger."
15  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-26] China’s Top Search Engine Freezes Bitcoin Ads Without Warning on: August 26, 2016, 04:59:29 PM

This is part of a big crackdown by regulators in China on advertising, which includes gambling sites, healthcare, binary options and all crypto.
There's also the "paid ad" definition argument going on, where Baidu want to continue not clearly marking them as that would mean they have to pay a 3% tax on gross ad revenue.

The Bitcoin spin is just Bloomberg following its bash Bitcoin at every opportunity editorial policy.

I think the crackdown on the bad ads is quite good. There are many scam in the Chinese society and Baidu is responsible.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving on: August 09, 2016, 07:49:27 AM
It very close to the bitcoin halving. Do any big BTC holders have any intention of buying something with their BTC? Are any going to continue holding. One of my friends is planning on buying a phone. He has been storing up for a long time.
I am just going to keep holding it at this time.  There is no need to let it go.  I see a little flux in the halving process when it comes to the price, but after it is all said and done, I think the price will just keep going up.

Yes holding your coins is the best thing that you can do at a moment as price will rise very soon which will allow you to earn higher profits.
CORRECT BRO,, ALL YOU NEED IS HOLD YOUR COIN AND WAIT TO RISE UP THE PRICE AND SELL THEM TO EARN BIG PROFITS.. PATIENT IS  VIRTUE!

Yes patience is virtue. It's a good time to save se amount of bitcoins

If halving did not give us a price increase, another increase will happen sooner or later so its time already to collect more coins and wait for price increase to sell your bitcoins.

So good luck waiting and collecting  bitcoins for the next increase.

Actually, we have to be happy now, Because last time when halving happened, when it closed the Price of the Bitcoin went down like a hell. This time, at least it is stable at 650$. Is it right.

That comments was right at the time, but the price is just $550 at present. It has dropped a lot due to a hack.

The bitcoin price has recovered to $590 now. I think it will trade around the current level for a few more days.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving on: July 27, 2016, 12:05:10 PM
bitcoin halving give me a profit my bitcoin before is low price but look at see my bitcoin is going up.. and i hope bitcoin up everyday . more blessings to come..

If the bitcoin price goes up $1 day, that is $365 a year. In the next year, it will go up $2 on average a day.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving on: July 17, 2016, 11:19:06 AM
that's right any change that has to happen because of halving will happen after a while when halving is done. and any other effect that you see like the rise to $780+ that happened was because of the hype and people being afraid of missing out and then dumping because of being afraid of missing out again Smiley

I think the price now around $650 is very normal price after the halving. It reflects the true value of bitcoin.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving on: June 13, 2016, 07:42:00 PM
I'm looking at these numbers and I'm personally quite excited to see where the value of Bitcoin manages to go, considering we broke $700 before and the market is intent on breaking it again. Looks like either a lot of small fish are buying or the whales decided to start buying up a lot of Bitcoin, because this is absolutely insane. I'm getting hyped.

If you are planning to make some profits then I think this is the right time to sell, as do not hold too long as we don't know what will be the price tomorrow, we may see major dump in coming  days.
This is the correct time to release your BTC and make some money. BTC value raise shows that halving is ready to take the value to peak. However still thats not sure about future. This is like bonus increasing suddenly. Wink

I am not sure about that. As long as I think the bitcoin price will still rise, I will keep my coins for the long term.
