Maybe this has already been explained, link if so, but if there already is 20,400,400 BTCP, that means there is only 600k more to be mined? How long is that projection? So they are going POS really soon then? Can someone explain so I dont have to read the white paper... Thanks

It would be nice if OverdriveNTool was available in a normal .zip file instead of that wierd NOT WIDELY SUPPORTED .rar format junk.
Just a comment , RAR has been around forever and most people use it. I do agree that I don't like the ".7z" format. I'd prefer RAR. If you go to official rarlab.com site it is free and no malware..

Could someone please point me to the CURRENT method for solo mining. None of the advice given has been recent , and looking up pascalproxy2 did not help. There is only dated information out there. Please post some links to a recent way to solo mine this damn coin. I am using SGMiner and mining to a pool but have enough hash to do it my self.

======================================================================================================================================== Quoted:theoretical you can solo mine, but it will take very very long time looooooooooong time before you mine a block. So don't try. Comment:So I have a wallet with some private keys generated. How do I know which account #'s are mine? I pool mine and send to Poloniex and I want to send from Poloniex to my own wallet account. How does one do that? Quote:If you have Pasc on poloniex, you can send a few pasc to pascwallet ( https://www.pascwallet.com/Market/Purchase) or getpasa ( http://getpasa.com/) to buy a pasa (pasc account). A pasa associates with a public key. Then you can withdraw other pasc to your local account, and you can pool mine and send direct to your local account. While pool mine, you should not only get psac, but also pasa (every pasa for twenty pasc). ========================================================================================================================================== New Question:Thank you. I do have a lot of hash power though, a number of machines with 6-8 video cards each. Couldn't I solo mine to generate my own accounts, and is there instructions on how to do that somewhere? I think the references I find on youtube and elsewhere are outdated and use the old pascalminer that used to be released with the wallet. You can have multiple key pairs in your wallet, but that doesn't mean you have an account. You must obtain an account through the various ways mentioned here. PASA (accounts) are not generated in the wallet. To have an account (PASA), one of your private keys must be associated to it. That's what makes PASC so special. You don't need to know your long address key, just your easy to remember PASA, like 1234-56. The ability to use easy to remember accounts linked to key pairs keeps the blockchain lean and mean, no bloat like all the other coins. This combined with instant 0-conf transactions leads to infinite scaling. I eventually see being able to run a full node on mobile with advanced features never seen before in the blockchain space. For solo mining, look into pascalproxyv2. [/quote] I have looked for info on pascalproxyv2 and there is very little information that is recent. All the solo mining posts are outdated and I cannot find any links on solo mining that work with the latest version of the wallet. I would like to generate my own address and solo mine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have a simple questions 1) Can you still solo mine? If so, how? All the articles I find are out dated. I noticed the "Pascalminer" is removed from the github/sourceforge pascal download area. All you can download is the wallet. I am mining to a pool, but would like to mine directly to an account.
any help, please

Are the nodes listed below actually Bitcoin Gold nodes ?? (The "addnodes") Bitcoin Gold Wallet fix. For those of you still having problems getting the Bitcoin Gold wallet to sync I figured out why my wallet was not syncing, hope this helps some of you who are also having that sinking feeling The "bitcoin.conf" file must be in the "chain" folder. (1) Create the bitcoin.conf file and put it in the chain folder (2) Start bitcoin-qt.exe with the "-server" switch, use a batch file for this, and put batch file in same folder as bitcoin-qt.exe (may need to run it as Admin). Note: I tried the suggestion of combining the "bitcoin-qt.exe -server" switch with the bitcoin.conf file but it did not work for me. Example BTG.bat file: Example bitcoin.conf file: addnode=109.192.23.101 addnode=88.99.5.24 addnode=164.132.164.49 addnode=91.224.140.216 addnode=178.63.11.246 addnode=176.12.32.153 addnode=93.88.74.26 addnode=213.148.176.232 addnode=109.201.133.93 addnode=195.42.181.134 addnode=72.65.232.4 addnode=154.16.63.17 addnode=213.154.230.106 addnode=178.238.228.83 addnode=213.154.229.126 addnode=91.222.17.86 addnode=45.77.62.72 addnode=213.154.230.107 addnode=98.114.91.222 addnode=35.196.226.49 addnode=66.70.247.151 addnode=89.18.27.165 addnode=89.18.27.165 addnode=45.32.234.160 addnode=217.182.199.21 addnode=185.139.2.140 addnode=31.214.157.104 addnode=149.154.71.96 addnode=109.252.108.223 addnode=67.170.52.226 addnode=188.75.128.27 addnode=199.229.248.218 addnode=81.218.148.131 addnode=36.78.96.92 addnode=212.47.236.104 addnode=89.110.53.186 addnode=145.239.0.50 addnode=100.1.157.185 addnode=172.113.91.211 addnode=54.153.140.202 addnode=188.120.223.153 addnode=45.76.136.149 addnode=46.22.7.74 addnode=91.50.219.221 addnode=85.253.172.161 addnode=31.128.109.238 addnode=159.89.192.119 addnode=92.51.61.81 addnode=95.235.32.196 addnode=37.113.31.187 addnode=176.107.192.240 addnode=93.85.135.35 addnode=46.188.16.96

I am trying to use the official BitCoin Gold wallet, from here https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/releases . However it does not connect to peers to even begin the 8 years of syncing it needs to do. "0 connections to bitcoin network" This is the official developer one linked from their website https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/Anyone else know of way to actually use a WINDOWS wallet or make this one work ? Do I need to manually add peers to the config file?

The pump was good. Meet the price back to 1.5 $
Why don't you "Meet" $5 . What's with all the haters on VTC? It's right on the heels of LTC. You won't see $1.50 ever again. Great coin, been involved since '14

I sent a small amount to HitBTC and it has habeen at least 2 hours..i don't want to send more until I see this Sh*t work. On the "blockchair" exlporer for BCC it shows my transaction included in a block, but there is no indication of how many confirms..how do you find out the # of confirms?
Should I send more since it takes so long ? Have you guys deposited to BCC , and then to BTC on HitBTC succesfully? (and back to your own wallet)

Are there any exchanges that allow creation of deposit address, so we can send our BCH to them and sell for BTC?
you can send to hitbtc and viabtc. you might have a wait before you can trade or pull it off their sites. viabtc doesn't allow american customers..and you need an ID to do deposits. still waiting on hitbtc registration..

I just lost my unique BCH. I used Electrum, after the fork i sended my BTC to Bittrex, i download the Electrom Cash, used my private keys and saw my BCH, everything is ok, until after a little time Electrom Cash send my BCH to the same BTC Bittrex address. So is a lost right? did Electron Cash send your coins without interaction with you Anyway you should contact Bittrex support, maybe they'll be able to help. you most likely are connected to the wrong chain..check the server connection and switch to the right fork..

Which wallet are you going to use to send to exchanges (when they let us create addresses) ? I am trying electrum cash with a small amount and Bitcoin ABC. So far my small amount of electrum cash hasn't been stolen like some people are saying..

I hadn't really thought about until the "label" information for a transaction appeared on another computer where I installed a fresh wallet. Do you know if the "label" or description information for a send/receive that you type in is only visible to yourself w/priv key or is it public? For example I send .25 to compworld, and add some notes for myself to remember ".25 purchase of awesome computer"..does everyone see this or just me?

Yeah, I see it now. Took over 16 hours. Now I have to deal with a refund..and ended up having to pay with a CC for a Newegg purchase. There is no way they could of "held up" this transaction on purpose is there? (Bitpay) Now they have my money and will give me a gift card instead of cash back (newegg)..argh.

Can I see my "satoshi per byte" before I send somehow? There is a slider in multibit wallet which was set to "Default" transaction fee for this transaction. I did increase it now, but do not understand exactly what I am doing. Maybe recommend a better wallet or any other help would be appreciated. As for the transaction, I will "wait and see". Looks like it will work itself out either way.

It was sent last night around 9:25 PM (May 26th). So it has been about 14 hours.

How exactly do I setup the double spend transaction? I am a bit confused on this operation. There are three fields I fill out during a send 1) Amount, 2) label, 3) address . The transaction fee is injected by Multibit. How exactly should I populate the double spend ? Also, do I need to send from the same computer or any computer with a copy of my wallet? (one runs multibit .5.18, the other is running version .5.19)
