1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 12, 2015, 06:20:30 PM
FYI: The finanial ministers stopped their meeting about the Grexit. This is thrilling shit. Greece needs more money than they said.
2  Economy / Speculation / Is a Grexit good or bad for Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2015, 06:17:47 PM
So far I always thought that a Grexit might lead to higher bitcoin prices but I am not really sure anymore. If Greece leaves the Euro, this might lead to more stabilisation for the Euro. Other countries like Spain or Italy might get aware that they might have to leave the Euro if they can't handle with money and household. On the other hand this might lead on to the Italians and the Spanish transform their money away from theier country to an save haven like Germany.

So what is your opinion?

Just FYI: 10 of 18 EURO countries are ready for the Grexit. Only Italy, France and Cypres are strictly against ist. Plus European commission and EU Parliament. But there is only one big country for the Grexit (Germany).

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEXT 48H ARE CRITICAL!!!!!!!! on: July 10, 2015, 07:06:20 PM
If we break $300 we will most likely get pumped to $500 or moon.
If we do not we will stay in this 220-300 zone till the halving or some breaking news.

Like 4 months ago?
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 10, 2015, 07:04:09 PM
Is there already an explanation for the OKCoin 350$ run today?
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 10, 2015, 06:42:48 PM
Did not expect another push today... Let's make the 300 and stay above!
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Parabolic rise has begun on: July 10, 2015, 05:34:24 PM
I think it depends on greece and its creditors. I have no clue how this will end.

btw: Is there a way to get a price history in 5min intervals or lower? I know bitcoinscharts, but there I have to copy it manually and do this for every 2 days (1 minute charts).
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: July 09, 2015, 07:20:18 PM
In some day Bitcoin will rise again. You can be sure that one crazy guess will be right. So take your change. If you are right you'll be the king Wink
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin actually ready to go mainstream? on: May 01, 2015, 09:35:48 AM
I don't think people will use Bitcoin like they use dollar today. I think the potential is something like Circle in the middle term. Am I correct to say that Circle is something like PayPal, but Circle uses Bitcoins for transfering dollar and is therefore cheaper than PayPal?
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you plan to get out of bitcoin? on: November 29, 2014, 03:16:41 PM
I already out but I plan go "go in" again Wink
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well that didn't last long... on: November 15, 2014, 05:30:42 PM
Well we are still +15%  compared to last week. I can handle a coin which "just" grow 15% a week. Wait we go below 370 to announce the resume of the downtrend

this is very optimistic. 37% more than the low this year. 37000% more than a few years ago. If you bought this year on a random day, you lost in 95% of all cases...
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] A little question: How much btc do you have ? on: November 15, 2014, 05:27:05 PM
I sold them all at $500
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2014, 07:06:04 PM
Didn't watch the price the last 3days. What's going on?  Huh
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks to me $150 usd to BTC possible? market curve bubble chart (see below) on: October 29, 2014, 01:52:23 PM
I don't see any reason for the price of Bitcoin to stop dropping  ...even down to the $150 usd or so mark my somewhat 'lame' reasoning below....

assuming that bitcoin is actually following this type of action below (note: edit diff chart...scary thou it is)

again if the above is correct and this bubble (if I remember correctly) started last Oct 2013 (I got my knc Jupiter 550gh on Oct 18th 2013 when  BTC was $150 usd)

then again if the above chart has any merit...it will go BACK to about $150 usd ...before HOPEFULLY it rebounds or not (ie dead cat bounce and such) to another bubble?

right now ...it looks to me like it is following the above down the line...so imho (not that I know squat) $150 usd looks possible before it either dead cat bounces to oblivion

or starts upward again ....into another bubble (I'm holding hope this is the senario...but lately with bitcoin prices dropping adding to my stress/pucker issues)

HOPEFULLY $150 usd would light a fire under everyone and BTC would rebound ...maybe even likely into a bubble again....(hey a person can hope)

anyway comments on why/how this is following such a chart above and what you think the likely outcome will be rebound or dead cat bounce

or hell maybe there is actually NO way to tell at this point ...but again imho the above chart is 'daunting' to say the least!

yep. "Bear Rally" and now down.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please stop the 'manipulation' bullshit. on: October 26, 2014, 04:27:13 PM
The price is going down because Bitcoin is disappointing. Noone is using it.

True. The only thing more dissapointing than bitcoin was the internet during the 90s...
hmm  Roll Eyes

You can't compare the internet to Bitcoin. Sure, many people didn't know the use of it 20 years ago. But it was a completely new thing. Bitcoin is money. My girlfriend (25 years old) just recently decided to use online banking. To have a facebook profile, paypal etc. is ok. But money? If you have it cash in your purse many people feel more safe. And Bitcoin? Even if people know that it exists they don't trust it.

And the advantages? I know, they exist. But in my opinion they are too small to switch. If there will be a new financial crisis and the Dollar/Euro are losing trust Bitcoin's time woudl arrive! Otherwise ist is difficulty.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please stop the 'manipulation' bullshit. on: October 26, 2014, 04:05:09 PM
Nobody is manipulating the price , we are going nowhere but down cut you loose.

+1

And stop saying the guy who sold 30 000btc at $300 wanted to manipulating the price down to buy new coins. Ask him when we are down at $10.

The price is going down because Bitcoin is disappointing. Noone is using it.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 25, 2014, 06:27:52 PM
I'm sure everyone realizes by now this will end in a dump?

see you at 377 in 29 hours.

I think rpietila called the 340 bottom (before it went to 280)!

We could go straight up from here.  Roll Eyes

the bottom is 23.8% of peak, same as the last bubble.   Check it if you don't believe me.

yeah and the bottom was 3month after the april bubble 2013. So the bottom after the december bubble will be in Feb 14. Right?
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 24, 2014, 08:43:20 AM
odd. We broke that wall at around $350 and now we heading back up?
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 23, 2014, 04:28:45 PM
if we break into the 350s it is probable we will go down at least to 320-330 in my opinion...

I think we'll see another low. Maybe $220 and back to around $350 and then down to $160.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: whales are stupid on: October 23, 2014, 10:11:04 AM
they are giving bitcoin a bad name. price will go down long term because of these disgraceful whales.

what's with the whales who buy large volumes of coins?
