Good question. I've seen to have done that very thing to a small amount of coins. Somehow when I was setting up double encryption protection, I must have somehow set it to 'watch only' and now it's telling me that there is no private key for this address.
No worries, really wasn't a lot of money, but was wondering what in the world is this 'watching only' business and how did I manage to end up there without a private key by trying to trying to use the set up the double encryption protection?
Signed up for the key double encryption protection at myblockchainwallet and lost the private key. I can get to my wallet, but can't send anyone money. Thing is stuck on watch only. I'm I screwed or what?
There was a bug in the new version of the mining software for Bitcoin and I guess it's fixed now. Is the weak link of this thing the software and the fact that it needs to be undated from time to time? I'm having a hard time trying to understand how this would be off limits form governments if they wanted to shut it down. I always thought that the whole net would have to go down if Gov wanted to crash it, but couldn't they just go after those installing and updating the software? Forgive me, I'm new to this stuff.
I've just opened up my very first wallet on Blockchain and deposited 50 bucks no problem a few days ago, but now when I tried to do it again it says Invalid exchange. What does that even mean? Anyone else having a problem with this site?
