Has anyone  seen the Giga Watt (giga-watt.com) hosted mining plans? im thinking of purchasing 10 miners from them, according to their calculations ROI at current prices is 57 days. or would i be better off buying them strait from Bitmain and mining from home.

Total for all miners (10 miners)

15,500

Total power consumption

8,800 W
               Efficiency           Hosting              Balance

there are only two bullet proof ways of losing doge. Format your hdd drive with no backup , or gamble Smiley

ahaha yea. But seriously though someone needs to DDoS that site to prevent it from scamming more Doge from people, it would be different if it was a legitimate gambling site where if you withdraw you get the coins but thats not the case.

2900 BTC volume on cryptsy its gaining momentum once more
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: January 31, 2014, 03:51:21 AM
You guys need to understand how Cryptsy works. If someone buys @ 500, an order at 300 will not execute before the ones below that are sold.

so it reached 500 without going through my orders @ 230, 300, and 400?
The trade price never reached that 556, it was just a *single* buy order that someone (probably a bot or a manipulator) put in and it was filled with the lowest sell order. However that seller *did* get the 556 per Doge for that order, since Cryptsy always gives you the best (highest) price.
Since Cryptsy has a minimum sell amount of 100 Doge, it is very likely that this 556 price was for a minimum order of 100 Doge, so it is still only 0.000556 BTC (approx half dollar).
Or maybe someone made a bet "I can manipulate Doge price above 500, I bet for $20". And so he won $19.50
If you know how Cryptsy works, things become easier to understand when you see these peaks.
I am not too sure how there can be peaks in the dowward direction - apparently sometimes Cryptsy also executes orders that a for example selling at 100 and it shows, which is weird because there are always Buy orders for much higher.

this must be only on cryptsy then as ive never seen it on the FX markets......when i got home and saw that huge spike @ 556 i was jumping up and down only to find out my trades didnt go through ahahaha crushed me lol had a few mil on trades

did you miss this? Shocked

no big volume, probably mistake

mistake for 15 minutes ))))))))))))))))

Someone must had enormous amount of BTC, or Whales cooperated to remove all walls

Yeah, it's a cryptsy bug. I had a sell order for 0.00000199 during that time, nothing sold.

im not sure its a bug, i had a few orders that didnt take as well and opened a ticket about the issue this is what i received from support. that was for the .0000001 dip that it made both my orders didnt go through.

"Most likely the reason your order is stuck is a fault on Cryptsy's part. It is due to a crashed process in the system. We are very sorry for the issue. We have added more servers to the site and everything should be running more smoothly and efficiently now. Your orders will not go through now until another user matches your price. I can cancel the order for you or you can wait."

But on this spike i had 4 orders open one sell @.0000019 which executed ok, one @ .00000230 that didnt, one @ .00000300 that didnt, and another @ .00000400 that didnt as well. Emailed support again but they insist that my orders arent (they are looking at current orders) executing because CURRENT market prices are at .0000018, ive told them that the orders were placed days ago but didnt execute and that i canceled (probably shouldnt have done it with out a SS) then put them back thinking it was a bug in their system and didnt want to lose out on another oppurtunity should it arise while i wait 5 days for them to send a reply back.

No problem man, this is pretty crazy trying to work out! Moneygram is actually fine with me, so long as you pay the 3% service fee it would take to deposit it into my paypal account.

John K said he can be our escrow to complete this deal. Are you able to PM yet?

18  Economy / Currency exchange / Money Gram to BTC on: March 11, 2013, 11:45:46 AM
Hi, would anyone be interested in doing a moneygram to BTC exchange? I know the whole point of BTC is to be anonymous and by using moneygram you would have to show ID i think? I would like to use a middle man like John if its ok with him? (you send him the BTC once he confirms he received them I will in turn purchase the moneygram and send to you and send John the screen shot). Any takers? amount would be around $250-500.

Why not that Stephen guy?! Give me an address to send my coins to Stephen, and I'll pass them on to you. If you burn me though, I'll hunt you down...

lol errr willing to come to Afghanistan? but in all seriousness i realized i have to wait until im sync'd to be able to verify receipt of them Sad im at 59%
You can put the address on blockchain.info to see if the tx has gone through, no need to wait for the client to verify.

hmmm looks like we can do this then, so how would we do the transaction brady?
