I tried cyberghost but it didn't even connect

It's not possible to mine anything on my university campus, I can't connect to any pool, I can't even syncronize with any network like etherum, goldcoin etc. Is there a way to break this restricition with a software or something else?

Well actually I got even more questions now 

So I can't generate any new coins? I claimed like 100 hyperStake Coins on cryptospout's faucet and used the address generated from my unsynced wallet. But I don't even get the wallet to sync? How can I do this?

First of all, I hope I post this topic on the right subforum, and I'd like to apologize if my english is not really understandible, I'm italian 

I got the HyperStake desktop wallet, which does not sync at all. I downloaded the current bootstrap.dat file and loaded it. Do I understand it properly that I can get HyperStake coins through this wallet? I really get the theory behind cryptocurrencies and I know the differences of bitcoin and HyperStake, but I'm a total newbie on practical use of the wallet. How can I mine HyperStakes?

I want to do this to gain some new experiences and I really hope that someone can help me with this.
