In the first days on January i have reported a bad MtGox data streaming problem

as explained, this bug is potentially scammy for traders, because Real Time Transaction fees has to be Real Time. Gox can hugely profit by it.
What i asked myself is: why noone cared about that topic?
I wrote to gox, and after more than 1 month i've received any answer about it.


There's another point: as you can see in the image below , my platform shows an incredible price spike on the right side , happend between h13 and h14 of 2014-02-14 (Rome GMT).

The Platform records real time data transactions, then makes candle. This means that someone on MtGox has bought Bitcoins at a really high price, just below 1000$. All happend in 5 minutes, as shown on this 5-minute chart

Those spikes are not visible on softwares that doesn't keep trace of transactions.

As always, i was working on improvements of Bitcoingain Trading Platform. Watching the log, i've seen some trades was received but not computed by the platform's server. After looking in depth on the code, and no error found, i opened log again for a better analysis. That's what i've found:

The system logs every received trade in real time. At a certain point i've seen a series of not computed trades. Here the first two
The server received a trade where time=1389204597696247 (time is in microseconds) at local server time=2014-1-8 19.9.58
The next received trade has         time=1389204583244090 , at local server time=2014-1-8 19.10.4 trade not computed

Converting the time in microseconds to normal datetime using http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm (cancelling the last 6 digits) i've seen that the first trade has time Wed, 08 Jan 2014 18:09:57 GMT, received on 2014-1-8 19.9.58, and the second trade has time Wed, 08 Jan 2014 18:09:43 GMT, received on 2014-1-8 19.10.4. Server is GMT +1.
What happend? The server received the latest trade for first, the first trade for last. Plus this, the second trade was sent from MTGox servers many seconds after it was effectively created. After this, the server received many unvalid trades in a row. Looking on Bitcoingain's data, wrong trades are about 50% of all trades that are sent from MTGox! Other platforms seen on the web doesn't detect this streaming problem, but the trades you see from them are old, maybe happend 10 seconds ago, despite it's clock tells you they happend right now.
I've written to PubNub (the new streaming service of MTGox) to tell them what's happening. Maybe it is a temporary problem, but it should be solved: at the reported datetime there wasn't a high load of trades slowing down MTGox server, so this bug is really not acceptable, and must be solved in the name of transparency

When the MACD gets far from zero it means that the two means you choosen as parameters are diverging. Practically, the vertical space between them (taken from the same X value, where X is a bar on the chart) is different from zero. Negative or Positive MACD value means that one or another mean has greater value then the other one

Thank you for your answer, it is very important for me to know what users thinks about bitcoingain's platform.
I hope i can get a third party security certificate: i have found some good-but cheaper 3rd trustable parties that can verify it's secure. It's not only a matter of money, but also of time (i'm updating the software weekly: i've just done automatic Free subscription, the next step is automatic login, etc).

By the way, it makes a lot of loud because of the java warning shown by the browser: the same warning isn't shown in some malicious applications posted on this forum

Well, if i'm not misunderstanding you, about security i can say that, as far as i know, it's not a problem of  exploited bugs by thirds. Java can be exploited only If the code you download from the website exploits some java security. I'm doing my best to demonstrate that the software is safe: apart of this, IMO, its quite stupid to make a working software that costs $$$$$ just to scam

Well, i've developed a trading platform for Bitcoin, bitcoingain.com (it actually uses MTGox data) still in very Beta version.
The idea is interesting: i'm planning to add some useful statistics, and also real-time statistics and alarms.
Please write me any suggestion about this topic, i'll keep it in mind and maybe code it!

Are you really sure it is 100% legal to make a service based on MT4?
It may bring problems for the website who hosts the service. A broker who provides a MT4 service to it's users has to pay about 100K dollars..

So, no more WebSocket Streaming data??

My platform can't connect to MTGox, i think this broker is having some problems...

My server can't get BTC-USD data... it seems other services like bitcoin.clarkmoody has the same problem.
It's 3 hours MTGox Market data streaming is off... nice service...
