Are you saying that Hal Finney is lying when he created this topic? Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney)When Satoshi announced the first release of the software, I grabbed it right away. I think I was the first person besides Satoshi to run bitcoin. I mined block 70-something, and I was the recipient of the first bitcoin transaction, when Satoshi sent ten coins to me as a test. I carried on an email conversation with Satoshi over the next few days, mostly me reporting bugs and him fixing them.
Today, Satoshi's true identity has become a mystery. But at the time, I thought I was dealing with a young man of Japanese ancestry who was very smart and sincere. I've had the good fortune to know many brilliant people over the course of my life, so I recognize the signs. Who brought the double spending idea into reality in bitcoin? this is just pure diversion... you wouldn't understand, he protect his life and family and i love his game. |

No one answer that name Satoshi Nakamoto, this is a name created by group of individuals and used the name as the owner of Bitcoin to divert the world attention because they know if their invention succeed, government might jail them.
finalize this? you just started a new endless discussion repeating something that has been said before and not provide any new arguments either. it is never going to end unless people realize that it is not important who Satoshi Nakamoto is in a decentralized payment system. yea, it is final discussion, Satoshi account is just another diversion to think he exist. believe it or not these are group of people who put head together to form something great. Now back to inventory/creation, its very hard for only one person to create without the help of others (group). But one person can initiate an ideal and then form a group. E.g. God = three persons, Banks=group of individuals, etc.
Back to Bitcoin, the person who brought bitcoin is Finney, he first received the bitcoin and he brought the double spend idea also. He then form group and i believe they brought the idea of the name Satoshi Nakamoto due to fear of government. I remember liberty reserve, egold, ebullion these are online currencies that existed before bitcoin and died because the owner of liberty reserve was arrested by FBI. Since then ecurrencies suffered. I believe this security issue brought the anonymity to these group that invented bitcoin money.

Finney did an interview right before his death while he new perfectly well this was be his last interview. He had no reason to not reveal if he was SN, moreover, he told he wasn't Satoshi
If you were him... will you protect your family interest, he may likely does not want anyone to disturb his family codes. He's a wise man. This reminds me of a story where a black politician man built a company in the name of a white man to free himself off corruption allegation. He planned with the white man and used the white name on the documents and handed over to him. guess what? the white man handed all documents to his son killed himself, when the black man came for him documents, the son won the case and claim the company. |
