He doesn't really clear his name at all. His alibis are very unspecific.
How could you even have an alibi for something that was done over several years, possibly even as a hobby? Oh I was in prison from 2000-2012 in solitary confinement, with no access to the internet?

Amazing day.
Looking at it logically it would seem that Dorian is Satoshi.
my 2 satoshi's worth.
Hmm, well if someone said they were NOT a particular person, logic would dictate that that someone was indeed NOT that particular person. Because that is what it literally says.

Haha. This unequivocally proves Dorian Sakamoto is NOT the founder of Bitcoin. Here's why:
1. Dorian's English is terrible, and the founder of Bitcoin's command of English is far superior to Dorian's.
2. According to the Newsweek article, Dorian "was pretty intolerant to incompetence." People that are fluent in English and intolerant to incompetence do not write public comments in broken, barely legible English. Especially if it is a complaint to a municipal government.

These people's entire belief system revolves around transferring as much wealth and power possible to an all powerful centralized government. In other words, it is they who are the thieves.

i think that's a bit harsh, can you imagine the stress this guy is under? Looking at the way he's handling this thing, it doesn't sound like he's under any stress at all. He isn't communicating anything except he's not giving up, and he's fat.

Seriously, i think he is mentally ill, psychotic. His behaviour in all that is happening is complete non sense, just crazy. It is even hard to label him incompetent, criminal or a scammer, he just seems insane.
I agree. He doesn't even answer any questions with anything pertinent or meaningful at all. It's as if all of this really isn't a big deal to him, and the only things on his mind are his weight gain and that he feels a little sleepy. Is the guy just a sociopathic narcissist? He's completely oblivious to what's going on around him.

It would actually seem very bullish to me.
Now, go forth and panic sheeple, because I would like some cheap coins and mining is hard work.
That's not bullish. That's bearish. I mean I get what you're trying to say, but it's not bullish nor is it good at all for bitcoin as a whole. If you want to buy cheap coins then it's great, but you don't want them to remain cheap forever, or become even more cheap, do you? Because that's what you're actually saying.

I'm running 1 cube on a Corsair 800 GS. Does this PSU have some kind of low power mode that prevents the cube from running at high clock speed?

Ok, I've got the cube and everything seems to be fine but i cannot connect to the configuration page, does anyone have any idea why that might be? Also what does the status light indicate, it is usually straight red and then flashes occasionally.
Thanks Nick
It's most likely because your default gateway is 192.168.1.254, which is the same as the cube's IP. I also had that issue, and somehow I was able to connect to the cube by just refreshing the miner IP several times (192.168.1.254:8000). Then you can change the miner IP to something unique. So try to just keep refreshing and refreshing until you get it to come up. It worked for me, somehow.

I have 1 card that is half full of x's in low clock mode (x x x x x x x x o o o o o o o o). If I switch to high clock mode and restart, it goes to all o's. But when I switch back to low and restart, the x's return.
Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?
Also, is it normal to always get these "WARNING proxy getwork_listener._on_submit" messages? I seem to be getting a lot of work accepted (27 gh/s on slush's pool), but I'm getting lots of WARNING spam.
Sounds like the card might not be seated well, and restarting the cube (regardless of clock mode changes) must give it a bit more (or less) signal. I'd double check that the card is seated. As for slush's pool, your running this through a stratum proxy right? If you use the old get-work network, you're wasting your time since they've actually discontinued it. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm running it through the stratum proxy from Slush's pool here: http://mining.bitcoin.cz/mining-proxy-howto. I just followed the guide in the OP, set up the miner and run mining_proxy.exe with no parameters. Is that the old get-work network? Also, I took all the cards out, tightened the heat sink screws and reseated all the cards. But that didn't seem to fix the 8 x's problem. Any other ideas? Oh and all the cards had some crusty blotches of film on them, like somebody sneezed all over them and there's a bunch of dried mucus leftover. What is that about? UPDATE: Well now the card stays half full of "x" in both low and high clock modes.

Is there some trick to turning a cube on? I've tried 3 different PSUs, and each one starts and then shuts off after a couple seconds. I've seen other people say it's some kind of under or overcharge, and it can be solved with jamming some capacitors into the PSU, but I have no idea how to do that (and my local Radio Shack doesn't even have 1000+ uF 12v caps).
I've tried:
Visiontek 500W (it exploded and is ruined) Antec 550W Corsair 850W
All three of them just shut off after a couple seconds. Is there anything else I can try before buying another PSU? I'm kind of tired of buying new PSUs for this thing.

I hope this is the appropriate forum for my questions.
I am thinking about accepting bitcoin payments for my SEO business (building backlinks, targeting search keywords, helping your site rank well). I'm curious about three things mainly:
1. Have any other bitcoin-accepting business owners noticed an appreciable increase in customers/clients after accepting bitcoins?
2. Does anyone know if my SEO services (mostly building backlinks) would even be useful at all to the community in its current state? I obviously work with individuals/groups that want to increase their website's search engine rankings, so I'm not sure if these kind of people are hanging out around here.
3. How do new businesses get the word out to others that they are accepting bitcoins?
Thank you for any help!
