1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peerplays - First Ever Blockchain-Based Gaming Platform on: June 11, 2016, 06:31:40 PM
Neil Haran,

It is still not clear which game(s) will be presented first. Is it some poker, social game or what?
This is really important to understand, because it will reflect many important things of the project and will help people to understand the project and developers vision.

My personal opinion that the best choise is gambling as it is will take attention of large number of peoples and commercial companies on the market. I think this is the only kind of games that will attract people outside of crypto community.

Hi increaser,

The official Position of the Peerplays team is that we will not be releasing the name of the first game until the test net goes live. I posted a few days ago with answers to some other questions about the game, so you might want to check that out if you haven't already: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1462351.msg15129796#msg15129796

Neil is working to put together an overview of the gaming development vision, which I believe will be available in a week or two.

Yes, I've  already saw your question that you have posted few days ago. But for me is very very strange that dev team can't say which kind of game it will be. Not even the name, just a niche/type. It is not affect on something, but most likely it says that they don't even have an answer for that question. It is sad and bad, because do not build any trust.

Antoher question to the team. Are you planning to invite more specialists for web design or game(s) design in the nearest future, at the stage of development?

I am thinking of investing myself. What I find a bit off-putting is the website itself. It looks amateur, if you open your console you see many errors, not even a favicon. Not saying the people invested are incapable but online gambling is very much about how smooth, good etc a platform looks.

I played online blackjack and mostly poker and I remember that the platform was the most important for me. Now, a tech start-up should have a solid online representation and Peerplays doesn't. Any thoughts on why or counter arguments that convince me to invest?

Also agree with that. Many things look amateur and it's alarming.

I also think that community will appreciate if you will make a video with the all team inside bunker. It will provide much more trust.

Can developers explain why the quantity of available tokens is so unstable?

I have monitored how many tokens are available during 2 last days and I found that it is changes so strange. first it was something about 9k, then the quantity decreased during few hours, but a little bit later it was -10 (minus 10) about 30 miutes. Later it come back to 8k, then decreased gradually to 4k+. After, few times I found that the quantity is 0.
But today it is again more then 7k.
What is it? It look very strange for me. Project is really very interesting but I'm afraid that it can be scam.   Huh

Please advise.
