Why do you repost the procedure ? It wont help the block chain to past 8961 block so please if you don't understand the problem don't try to find a solution.

well, for me it works, good luck anyway...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIM]LimeCoin X11 Algo | OBSOLETE move to LimecoinX please on: June 07, 2014, 12:32:12 PM
And what about ppl who have some life and not fallowing the forum all the time ? My LIM are gone because I didn't make the switch ? Send my LIM to the wallet from exchange, but the block chain is to old and it don't register. So no way to send the coin for swap. Is it the end of my Lime experience ?

To all the users that would like to swap their LIM coins to LIMX please follow this procedure:

Move all your coins to a Windows/Mac/Wallet
if you dont have the old LIM wallet then download it from:
http://209.208.111.8/LimeCoin_Setup_v3.13.exe

it will stuck on block 8680 aprox so you will need the lastest blockchain from:

http://209.208.111.8/6-6-2014_8960.rar

Now that you have your wallet synced and with your LIM coins, follow the procedure from our official Website:

http://limecoin.org/?page_id=131

please dont forget to FILL the form! if you dont fill it , we wont know where to send your new LIMX coins.

regards!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]SummerCoin|POS|Trade on poloniex and bittrex on: May 03, 2014, 11:46:25 PM
Now i only concern if the developer will keep 20 coin per block after 10,000 blocks
if he keep, the coin is dead,
if he don't, this coin is good,
can anyone know code look at the source?

Only for the first 10000 blocks.

You can check the block explorer:
For example block 5000:
see the first row of the transactions, 1500 coins are generated, 1480 go to blockfinder wallet and 20 to dev wallet.

If you check the blocks > 10000 you will only find small amounts of generated coins (PoS) and nothing going to dev wallet.

For example block 16095:
1.69758734 SUM are generated and paid as fee to the blockfinder.

BUG:

when i wanna change coin position i get error: Something went wrong. Exception message: API command incomplete. amount is not a decimal.

I experienced that as well. Somehow in the interface the decimal is presented as a comma instead of a point, so you can "work around" that by changing the trade-amount to 'X.x' instead of 'X,x' before clicking the save-button. At least that worked for me.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PEC] PeaceCoin! - 0.5% Premine ---- Released! on: January 30, 2014, 02:02:24 AM
OK I got 3 blocks rejected and 1 accepted - However I don't see any coins in the wallet.

Found block for pool 0!
Accepted 0c52cc69 Diff 5.32K/1024 Clock! GPU 0

Does this mean I got it or just someone on the network got it?

it means you found one. but most likely someone else found one faster and your block got orpahned.

in your wallet you can open the console window (help-> debug -> console) and type in 'listtransactions', then you should see the blocks
with 'category:orphan'
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PEC] PeaceCoin! - 0.5% Premine ---- Released! on: January 30, 2014, 01:45:52 AM

I am trying the following and it is not working:
"C:\Users\atx\Documents\guiminer\cgminer\cgminer.exe" --scrypt -u jack -p password -o stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:3333 --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 13 -g 2 -l 1 -T  --thread-concurrency 8192

try  'http://127.0.0.1'  instead of  'stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1' unless you have a local stratum proxy running

Are there and addnodes with the right chain? I've tried a number of times to resync the block chain but always end up on the chain @ ~460000 blocks, only finding one connection.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BLC] Blakecoin fast blake-256 Alt Coin for CPU/GPU/FPGA on: October 07, 2013, 04:09:54 PM
Can someone provide a tutorial to make it work on Linux ?

for ubuntu 12.04 I build as follows

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y git-core build-essential libssl-dev libboost-all-dev libdb5.1-dev libdb5.1++-dev libgtk2.0-dev libminiupnpc-dev qt4-qmake mingw32 synaptic qt-sdk qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libqt4-core libqt4-gui libdb++-dev

blakecoind:
sudo make -f makefile.unix clean
sudo make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=1
<snip>

Doesn't work because of levelDB.
Code:
/tmp/Blakecoin/src# make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=0
Building LevelDB ...
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/tmp/Blakecoin/src/leveldb'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `libleveldb.a'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/tmp/Blakecoin/src/leveldb'
make: *** [leveldb/libleveldb.a] Error 2

Same with upnp 0 or 1 or none.

Tried this afternoon to build this with the Feathercoin leveldb directory, same trouble.
Tested on Debian Wheezy, SID and Ubuntu 12.something.

I got it working on ubuntu with 'libleveldb.a' and 'libmemenv.a' copied from the quarkcoin leveldb directory.

Hope there will be a pool.

Solo mining is not suitable now

I am working on pool now - it should work now but still in beta!

http://blc.coinmine.pl
stratum: 6040

feeleep

something wrong with block submission - please stop mining until I confirm it works

it tells me quark is not a valid command (or something like that) maybe i need the algorithm ?

you need to use "-a blake" instead of "-a quark"

Is something wrong in the client? Had few accepted blocks, popup came up with reward sum but they never arrived to the wallet. Anyone?

did you change the display settings?

Yes, the only trace of found block is minerd window, and popup that comes when there is incoming fund coming to the wallet. No trace in wallet at all. Zero transactions.

Go to 'help' -> 'debug window' and click 'console'. Type in 'listtransactions', if you have orphans you will see them there.
